So, yeah...I shouldn't have jumped immediately to another Dragon-shifter story. After reading the Forbidden Desires series, I have a feeling most of them are gonna come up short for a long while after. Didn't help that this WAS a short...which meant Turbo-charged Insta-love and little character or relationship development. Also, I wanted more introspection from Derek on going from completely straight to a begging bottom in the blink of an eye.

Barely There
This is more an outline for what could be a story than an actual complete book. There isn’t enough detail or background provided, events happen quickly, the relationship is faster than insta-luv and the result is less than stellar.
The base idea is good so here’s hoping this author grows and becomes better at writing.

I liked this short, sexy M/M dragon shifter story. I wish it had been a bit longer and gone into Derek's family history, how they got thru his pregnancy in the public eye and where they settled on living. Did Derek and Gerrad get married? Have more children than Alexis? I wanted more.

I thought this could have had a lot more action in it, as it involves dragons and stunt men.A good story nonetheless.

Gerrad is a dragon shifter/stuntman who has been estranged from his family and lives a human life style. Derek is an action/adventure actor who will now be training under Gerrad. When a stunt goes wrong Gerrad save’s Derek and whisks him away from danger. This is the beginning of their HEA.

This was a short story from start to finish, but it had depth, and was full of humour, the action was amazing. Gerrad McCloud is a dragon heir to the dragon world, but he been living on the human side for 20 yrs, suppressing his dragon down. But when fate takes control he has no control when it comes to his mate, Derek Van-Rindley. Who is a action hero superstar for the movies, he has been romoed to be a playboy, but that not it, for last 6 or so months he has been looking for the right person to settle down with. It takes a explosive accident to wake them up. I was given this for a honest review, so if you have Kindle unlimited it is a must read, if you like shifter stories.

I have read Canis Blackfang's books before and have truly enjoyed them. This book was enjoyable as a short read. I wish it had been a lot longer. There are so many questions I have. I felt I was just getting to know Gerrad and Derek and then it skips to the end. It felt a little rushed, to be honest. However, having said that, it is still a very nice read and I will look forward to seeing what Canis Blackfang has in store for us in the future!!

It was going to be a 3, but so many plot holes!
The beginning was good. A little fast paced but good. But after the first kiss everything happened like a flash. It kind of killed it for me.
And the thing that bothered me the most:
Guess I was expecting too much.

Pretty good though the ending could have been a bit longer I mean it kinda just cut off abruptly but besides that and also that sometime I didn't know who's perspective it was in because it keep switching it was really
