“What the hell was that?” Nick shouted, taking a wide stance and holding on to the wall for support. The little elf with him just sighed, not looking the least bit concerned.
“That’s just Billy,” he said. “He works in the experimentation room. He must have tried turning on his toymaking machine again.”
Nick straightened, a scowl twisting his features. He felt humiliated. The little elf with him had barely reacted to the loud noise, while Nick had startled like a cat seeing a snake.
“He tried what?” Nick pulled himself up to his full height and scowled down on the blasé little elf. The poor creature seemed to realize he had made a mistake of some sort and shrank back.
“We have an experimental department. They look into ways that we can make toys better or faster. Billy is one of the elves who works there. He’s been trying to build a machine powered by magic that can make toys, but he hasn’t gotten it to work yet. He warned everyone that he was going to turn it on today, so we were expecting the explosion.”
When Nick just kept scowling, the elf continued. “It wasn’t dangerous! The room is shielded, and Billy knows not to turn his inventions on before he’s cleared the room.
Nick crossed his arms and squared his shoulders. “And no one thought it would be a good idea to tell me that this was going to happen?”
The little elf gulped. “I’m sorry… Billy announced it at dinner last night. I guess I just forgot that you might have wanted to know.
Nick forced himself to relax. There was no point in scaring his new underling.
“It’s fine. You may continue the tour, but I want this Billy sent up to my office after dinner. I think you were going to show me my living quarters?”
The little elf swallowed and nodded, tripping over his feet as he moved down the hall. “Yes, sir. Right down the hallway here. Only you have access to these rooms, and the magic will let you set them up however you like.”
“However I like?” Nick grinned deviously, and the little elf took a step back. Nick schooled his expression so he wouldn’t look quite so… devilish.
“Yes, sir. However you like.” The poor little elf sounded like he wanted nothing more than to run away.
“I can work with that,” Nick said, licking his lips. “All right, carry on. What’s next?”
The elf looked at him. “Don’t you want to go inside?”
Nick shook his head. “No. I’ll get it all set up tonight.

My four stars are definitely for the kinky BDSM scenes. I loved the interactions between Nick and Billy. I can really get into reading about alpha males and their subs. I especially like for the alphas to be a little cruel like Nick. And I loved how Billy discovered his submissive side.

It's nice to know that Santa's not perfect. More playtime with Billy while they wait for Krampus to come help with the magic. I'm pretty sure the last installment of this story will be the best.

2.5 stars. I love hard core BDSM books! In this book, santa is a sadist and not in a good way. There is no real conversation about submission and masochism. Billy is basically thrown into the deep end. Even though he enjoys it, IMO it was to harsh to fast. I do give Nick credit when Billy says yellow, he does take that into consideration. And there are times when he is kind of tender. But overall I find him just cruel. I really enjoyed how things are run in the castle and the making of the toys. I loved that Billy got his machine finally up and running. Loved Tulip, she cracked me up. What a prankster she was, especially making the cockcages.

Looking for a quirky holiday themed m/m? Interested in reading about a Dom Alpha Santa and his novice sub Elf? While there's no tinsel used in the making of the bondage in this book (I was hoping...even though that would actually be dangerous IRL), there was a lot of BDSM, including a bit of humiliation play. I must say that at the beginning the new Santa, Nick, came off as a jerk, which was off-putting for me, but I really liked this book. Not for the faint of heart or those who can't handle a very different take on Santa and his Elf.

This was SO sexy and kinky in all the right ways. At first I was worried about the power imbalance between Nick and Billy. However, as it went on, I was pleasantly surprised. I liked how both Billy and Nick have their own strengths (hint: Nick’s was NOT his brain), and the two ultimately had a dynamic that was kinda hilarious. I mean, not gonna lie, the novel was sort of ridiculous from start to finish. Make no mistake, my friend: Read this for the sex, and don’t expect much beyond that.

It needed more love less cruelty. Even in a Ds relationship there is compassion and love . It not about being as cruel as you can be and hurt the sub. Yes there is some pain and use but this was just cruel. Some of the scenes were hot until the evil and cruelty came in

A hardcore Santa Dom was exactly what I needed. I know that this sort of tale is not for everyone, but I love them. I just wish that the elf was an omega. We could've had a Christmas baby!
There were some editing errors in this that did pull me out of the story, which was my only mark against it.

This installment was much sweeter than the previous one. I'm really starting to like Nick a lot. And I really liked their date. Nick is showing his softer side and I'm loving it. I liked when Nick channeled the magic into the castle and how everybody is surprised by it. Can't wait to see more of Nick becoming the perfect Santa. I have to say that I'm really not loving Tulip. She's kind of annoying. I hope she gets better.

This isn't your average Christmas story! Started out pretty normal but then the new Santa showed up and the North Pole got a whole lot kinkier. I wasn't sure that I was gonna like Nick at first. He seemed like a real jerk but as the story went on, I feel like he's going to turn out to be pretty awesome. Billy's pretty cute and I hope that he finally gets his machine up and running.

I was right! The last one was the best (and the kinkiest) one. I had to laugh at some parts but I really liked Nick's protective streak. I thought he was going to take Damon's head off. Loved the Christmas presents but I really wish we could have seen them using Billy's gift. Glad I finally sat down to read these books. I put it off way too long.
