I'm a big On hearing the male POV of the story. They say that Stephanie Myers introduced this type of book with Midnight Sun "Edward Cullen's" POV. Then 50 shades grey did her GREY POV. I am loving on how authors gives now just a little of everyone's POV. What woman does not want to know what a man is thinking. If you have read Unbelonging and Rebelonging this book is go you. It was great to hear what was going thru Lawtons head. And finally understood why he remained friends with those idiots Brittany and Amber. Love love love love & love 5 loves for me!!!

Ps : this series book Audio narrator is Erin Mallon. she is one of the top rated narrators for romance audio. She did a fabulous job bringing out Chloe!

I absolutely loved Unbelonging - read it and listened to the audio version - so I was delightfully surprised to find out Sabrina Stark wrote the book from Lawton's point of view. (As a bonus, you get to also read a lot more about Bishop during that time!) In the second book, Rebelonging, we find out Lawton had more of a connection to Chloe than we realized. I loved reading from Lawton's pov how emotionally far gone he already was from the first page and before Chloe "met" him while walking Chuckie. There were several scenes in Belonging that felt mysterious between Lawton and Bishop (like when they break into her house, etc.) and it was really interesting to find out what they were actually doing and thinking.

Overall, I loved revisiting Lawton and Chloe and getting to see how protective and in love he was from the opening scene. Swoon! Plus, similar to what we now know about Lawton, reading the "mystery" of what's going on with Chloe from his perspective is interesting and kind of funny since we do know how innocent it all is. This book ends a scene or two after the end of Belonging (so not like the cliffhanger you felt then). I can't wait until we pick back up and continue reading the rest of Rebelonging through Lawton's eyes!

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review (thank you, thank you!).

IF YOU HAVE READ UNBELONGING - DON'T BOTHER

I'm at 63% of this book and sorry folks but it's boring !!!!! Chloe comes off as a scamming LIAR with no redeeming qualities and certainly not someone Lawton would be interested in. He comes across as almost stupid, it's just almost impossible to see the attraction between the two of them. Then at 68% they finally hook up and then it's back to him second guessing, "will she be mine? etc". Did he grow a hoo-ha during this slow as# book? He loves her - oh for God's sake, really? The end at least gave additional details regarding why he held her in the basement but not enough to buy this book for. I am going to read Rastor because I have purchased the book. Hopefully it will be better.

I fell in love with Lawton ever since I read the Unbelonging duet. He was so sweet, loveable, knew what he wanted and placed himself in sight to get his girl Chloe, he also got caught up with hilarious drama in his life thanks to Brittney and Amber, and also lost his girl. I couldn’t shake the giddy feelings when reading Lawton’s pov nor the laughter that ensued and the heart stealing scenes his character delivered.

In Lawton we get to see and feel things told in his pov and I could honestly say I loved his character even more. I wanted to know his feelings and thoughts as he interacted with Chloe whilst reading the Unbelonging duet, and the author Sabrina Stark delivered that in abundance in Lawton allowing me to appreciate his character even more.

Over the years Lawton never forgot about Chloe but he had no idea of her identity. When she suddenly pops up in his new neighbourhood his feelings and attraction only intensify, and when he learns they share a fence there is no stopping him in pursuing her, the only problem is that Chloe never glances his way. What follows is a plot filled with; explosive chemistry, humour, an adorable dog, suspense, bromance because Bishop sigh, crazy loveable secondary characters like Shaggy, hot sexy scenes, and a hero to root for!

I rated this book five stars because it seriously deserved it. My only complaint was some pre-editing text highlighted in yellow showing on page 88 that hadn’t been taken out.

I received a free copy from the author for an honest review.

Okay lets be honest if you have read any of Sabrina's books you know Lawton! This book is Unbelonging but in Lawton's POV. Now I will be 100% honest I HATE reading the same book but in a different POV, when I heard this was coming out I reread Unbelonging and thought this is going to be AWESOME! Why you ask because unlike many authors who jump around or give us both POV, at least, part of the book Sabrina didn't do that, there was like 1 chapter in Lawton's POV in Unbelonging. So even after reading EVERY book about Lawton and his brothers he was still kind of a mystery. We this tells his side and we learn a bit more about the tattooed MMA fighter who lets be honest is just plain and simple to hot to handle. If you haven't read any of Sabrina's books you can read this book as a standalone but WHY would you want to do that???? If you read this as your first book I can promise you will go back and read the rest!! Now I wait for Sabrina to do her sneak attack on are next release.

I loved being able to see into Lawton's mind. When reading unbelonging, I was leery about Lawton because he really looked like a manwhore and just a plain jerk at times...when really he was just trying to be a nice guy to a friend and her slut of a friend, but honestly what he should have done is told both those bitches to back the hell off and stop seeing/talking to them all together. He really had it bad for Chloe the whole time and I loved watching him try to keep his emotions in check. One thing I don't understand if why he let Chloe believe he slept with the slut twins when he didn't...the one slut only got a couple sucks in before he stopped it. Maybe he does tell her and I just don't remember the next book in the series...its been a while since it read it.

I loved this novel. This novel was so good. Once I started reading I could not put this novel down. I loved the characters and I love the way this author writes dialogue and banter. I have read this author's other novels and they were great. I look forward to what she writes next. What I do know is if she writes it I am definitely going to be reading it. Soooo good!

Riding The Rastor

Well, I liked it. A big, big fan of all the Bishop boy's stories, I was happy to get a chance to read Lawton's POV. Did it work?
Maybe.
A lot of Chloe's voice was missing without her POV, so without that plot piece, for me, Lawton lost his mystery manliness. My dear author had him acting like an overanxious emo teenager. Ugh, way too much inner dialog. So a bit slow going at first. But I hung with him. Bishop was still cool ;) Seems more like the original pace of Unbelonging in the last quarter of the story. That helped.
My suggestion to fans of Sabrina Stark, of which I consider myself included, read all the books in order. This should be a sentimental read, not the first story you should read from this author.
I dunno. Trust me. They are awesome.
Will I read Rastor, book 2? Maybe. Probably. Definitely.

I received this book to read for a review. I must say I am an absoulte huge fan of Sabrina Stark writing and talent. So you can just guess how excited I was when I received this chance to read and review Lawton. I stumble acorss Unbelonging and was in LOVE, so Lawton is a MUST READ. Sabrina takes it to another level and shows how talented she is able to capture Lawton's story and grab your full attention just as she did with Unbelonging Chole's story.
Lawton meets Chole 5 years ago in a bad situation that he was in. Yet she does not know this or remember, but we see how he had fallen for his now neighbor many years ago. You can imagine his surprise when he finds out this "angel" that he meet years ago is now is neighbor and now he plots on how he can start getting in touch with her and get her to notice him, for him. This he is learning is not an easy task. Along of the way, Sabrina introuduces you to other characters, his brother, some "so-claimed" friends, who seem to always want to bring out the negatives of why Chole is bad. This isn't stopping Lawton on his mission. Until, him and his brother stumble across something, that may make Lawton change is mind and feelings all together on Chole, who seems to have her own secrets she is not willing to share.
Sabrina was able to really pull this story together and show you each view - Chole's in Unbelonging and Lawton's in Lawton. She did an excellent job giving you the feelings on each. I feel in love. Reblonging was just as amazing. This book is a MUST read, I could not put it down. It was the "just one more chapter" that turned into reading almost the entire book. If you read Unbelonging and Rebelonging, yes you know the story, but Sabrina still surprises you in Lawton with his emotions and his story!!!!! Amazing job!

Lawton by Sabrina Stark is the story of Chloe & Lawton from her two earlier books: Unbelonging (Dec 2013} ď Rebelonging (March 2014). This time the story is told from the POV of Lawton. The original books were very funny & the relationship between Chloe & Lawton was a slow build from getting to know each other & revealing hidden emotions. They both carried so much baggage it's a wonder their love won out on the day. Lawton is very similar even though it's from his perspective; actually it's hard to understand what he saw in Chloe because she sends out very mixed signals. One moment she cuddling up to & then she's running out the door. There are so many secrets & lies & Lawton is confused.
I received an ARC from the author for an honest review & I have to say that while I enjoyed reading this book, I'm really not sure why Sabrina Stark went back to this plot again after 2 years. It's about 18 months since I first read the original series so I cannot recall precisely if there is anything new in this book! . That said you don't have to be familiar with the earlier books to enjoy Lawton & you'll miss out on a. very good story if you don't buy it. Enjoy!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wow. Wow. Wow! First off, I haven't read unbelonging/rebelonging so I'm meeting the characters fresh and don't know the storyline. This book was fantastically written. I was right there with every emotion Lawton was feeling. His love. His desperation. His yearning. His lust. His anger. I was on that roller coaster with him. This was a 'couldn't put down book' as I'm writing this review at 3:45a! I would consider the style suspensful romance because I was at the edge of my seat dying to know what secrets were being hidden. At first I scoffed at another tattooed bad boy fighter but he is SO not your typical foul mouthed, womanizing, dirty boy. (Despite that his past may have been!). I see the fascination and why all reviews love him! I'll be on pins and needles waiting for the second installment but at least it'll give me time to read the full version from Chloe's point of view!

You thought you knew the story from Unbelonging and Rebelonging, oh you have no idea. This is a must read after you have read the first 2 book and you NEED to read the first 2 books. I'd suggest reading Unbelonging first, then this book, then Rebelonging.

This adds much more depth to the story and background that you were often questioning in the first book. I actually need to go back and re-read the previous books after reading this one.

Ms Stark keeps just getting better with each book she puts out. Do yourself a favor, pick up this series and the companion series "Jake" which includes Illegal Fortunes, Jaked, and Jake Me.

I loved "Unbelonging" and "Rebelonging." book. Before starting this book, I wasn't sure how I felt about a retelling of the story from a different POV. However, after reading "Lawton," I can honestly say I loved "Lawton" just as much. As another reviewer said, it was interesting to see what Lawton and Bishop were thinking and why they were doing certain things. I felt Lawton's POV explained so many of the questions from the first telling of the story since you were able to find out his thoughts leading to his actions.

I cannot wait for the continuation of Lawton's POV in the next book.

I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading this from Lawton's perspective and it was interesting to see the things that he did not get to see if that makes sense. It would have been nice if the story had been a little longer and concluded as per the previous books, but I assume that's going to be another book? If I hadn't have read the original books in the series, I'm not sure I'd have liked this, so make sure you read them in order :)

I have read all this series of books and loved them.
This book, I was asked for an honest review, and I can honestly say I loved it.
Written from the other point of view, it tells the tale of a good/bad boy finding the love
of his life and trying to keep her without his past wedging its way in and breaking it apart.
A great read, can't wait for the next.

I read the Unbelonging and Belonging books before. I liked rereading the story in Lawton's pov. The only draw back is that this book ends in a cliffhanger just like Unbelonging. So if you don't like cliffhangers then wait till part 2 of Lawton is released.

Really enjoyed this, which is a version of Unbelonging but told from Lawtons POV, which is great, fills in a few gaps and gives us a bit more background to Lawton. Can't wait for the next book from his POV.

Great story. Creative and pure fun. The story pulled me in from the beginning and never let go. This is one of those books that I was irritated if I had to stop listening for any reason. I listened every chance I had.

Even though I didn't listen to the first part of the series that is told from Chloe's point of view, that had no impact on my enjoyment of this book at all. For me it was like this was the first book in the series. After listening to Lawton's side of the story I don't think I would enjoy it as much from Chloe's point of view. Lawton has a personality that jumps off the page, it would be a disappointment to not have that come through in another book.

I could tell you all kinds of really great things about the story but bottom line, you just need to listen to it and discover all the yummy goodness that is Lawton Rastor for yourself. You won't be disappointed. It's worth it.

Plenty of sarcastic humor, a bit of steamy romance, a little drama, suspense and mystery, a few secrets, a lack of trust, a huge mistake and more all woven into a really entertaining and enjoyable story.

Be warned it does end in a cliffhanger.

Connor Brown does a fantastic job with the narration. He was the perfect narrator for this book. He has one of those voices that just pulls you into a story. He captured Lawton's personality and emotions to a T, and brought him to life. The humor and sarcasm is delivered with the perfect tone, inflection and cadence. If Lawton was "thinking to himself" it was clear. There was never any confusion. Great character voices. And, oh my….perfect voice for building the steam & tension…. smooth and smoldering…..melting. Very enjoyable

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and voluntarily provided this review.

Received 4-Book series as ARC for an honest review. So I’m going to just say this now. This book is so freaking boring I can’t even stay aways. Honestly, there are certain authors and certain book series that can pull off the male lead’s POV in a completely separate book or series and I’m just going to say… THIS series and THIS author is not one of them. Considering that there’s really nothing new to read and the Unbelonging series often times switches to Lawton’s POV, this seems a bit repetitive. There’s no way, I’m going to read another 40 plus chapters to finish out this ridiculous series. Ugh.. I can’t with these authors. Do better, Please!

Way too long.

Bad boy meets good girl. Lawton is a ex fighter who gets beaten because he won a fight. Chloe happens along and takes him to a hospital and stays by his side, then disappears. A few years later Lawton who has been obsessed with Chloe realizes she's his next door neighbor and sets out to win her. Chloe seems not to remember who Lawton is and it's not addressed in book one. There is a book two, but frankly this story went on way longer than needed. It took me two weeks to get thru it and I won't be reading the second part.

I was not fond of this book. It dragged so much. You still do not know anything about the girl he is interested in. She seems like a wack job. He's crazy himself, but you know a little about his life. Nothing about this books enticed me to read the second book. Question: How can a man become a billionaire from doing a sex tape? A sex tape that was recorded without his knowledge by a woman he was having sex with. The book never discusses how he made or is still making his money. The female character is very boring to me. (I can't even remember her name) I remember the dog's name better then I remember both character's name. His name is the book. SMH.....I even forgot what the male character looks like if it wasn't for the book cover.
