In this book, Tabby is running MJT Consolidated Holdings and she meets the new city councilman, Patrick McCaffery who is quite handsome and has a seductive air about him.
Their story begins when they meet up at an opening of the community center and they hit it off. They start going out but Mark and Sophie are understandably concerned , especially after the incident she had with her previous boyfriend who used her. Tabby is happy , happier than she has been in a while and things are going good.
Patrick comes across as nice and respectable. But there are secrets he is hiding-especially when it comes to Tabby. He is trying to clean up his past and he goes out seeking to be like the Snowman. There are some twists and turns in this story .We find out things about Patrick and his secrets as well. There are things about him that he hides from Tabby- and as the story progresses, there are some wicked things that occur that cause truths to be revealed and danger to come knocking on Tabby's door.
As the story ends, I loved how he whole Mr. Dark and Ambition stories are woven together and have a kicka$$ finish. I enjoyed Patrick and Tabby’s love story. There was action, suspense, romance, hot, spicy lovemaking and my favorite –the mastermind of the criminal undertaking getting their just desserts. This is what LL does best, weave a masterful story with the flow perfect and ripe. There are twists and turns in this story that will leave you hanging til the end with a epilogue that is a MUST READ. I loved this book 3 in Ambition and cannot wait to read what she has next.Also there is a fantastic surprise after the book ends --Ms. Landish includes a wonderful surprise that gives us, the reader a look into what we can see for the next generation. I cannot wait because I can see we are in for another delish ride.

I love this whole series. The Snowman doesn’t know what hit him when he is in a club to meet a client to do some “troubleshooting” for him and sees Sophie. She is not your typical club girl. She does not want to even go out that night but her best friend Tabby talked her into it. She can't believe a man like Mark aka The Snowman would ever be interested in a woman like her. She has no idea of why he would even notice her but they are instantly attracted to each other. This is a second chance at redemption for Mark and a happily ever after for Sophie.

Unexpected
This book was great. Normally when reading a book you can almost tell yourself you know what's going to happen before it happens but not with this book. It's very interesting and unexpected.

A great book
Ms. Landis does an exceptional job telling a story, she weaves sex with action and adventure to make a story worthy of everyone taking the time to read. I look forward to reading the third bood in the series as well as any further book she might write in this series.

Such a new and different take on a storyline. I really enjoy this series and it’s dark side of cleaning up the city. Great read.

After Sophie and Mark's main story the saga continues with Tabby and Patrick's side of things! Well written, researched and adventurous, Ambition, continues to be as thrilling and sexy as the first book! With a great plot and lots of twists, the mafia/spies/hitmen romance readers will be overjoy with this series! Interesting with a little bit of a billionaire/superhero vibe going on, i thoroughly enjoyed the system behind the operations created by the author!!! Clearly inspired by Batman, Lauren Landish offers you a way to put all your wonders and fetishes about Bruce Wayne to peace!! Creative while being logical and believable, i was amazed by the stable flow in the stories and events, also sizzling hot without being vulgar we have a double dose of romance served to us thanks to both of Sophie and Tabby different relationships!! A perfect end to a perfect series, i have to say that i will miss this group of friends!!! Highly addictive i wasn't able to put it down, and was ecstatic to discover the "new generation"!!!! Can't wait to read what happens next!!!!

I couldn't wait to read this after reading the Mr Dark series because this spin-off follows Tabby Williams, Sophie's best friend and now CEO of their (Mark, Sophie and Tabby's) Company.
She has basically become devoted to Mark and Sophie (or whatever alias they use) but then meets a new councilman that seems to have the same feelings of making the neighborhood that's been overrun by gangs a better place. His ambition in this nearly gets him killed until Mark steps in a saves his butt...... The rest of what happens will keep you glued to every word and you can't help but root for this budding relationship. You also root for the changes that the group is making.
I could close my eyes and picture where they were living and see them. The author Lauren Landish does an excellent job keep you entranced by the story. The characters are all very well developed and even the sexual situations are done in a way that is NOT crass, but panties on fire HOT.
I will be looking for more books by her.

Having enjoyed Mr. Dark so much, I was excited to read Ambition and it didn't disappoint. I think I liked Ambition even more than Mr. Dark. Ambition picks up soon after Mr. Dark ends.
Tabby is the face of the business while still recovering from what happened to her. Mark and Sophie are behind the scenes. And there's someone else on patrol.
Patrick is a new City Councilman who wants to clean up the city on the political side. When Patrick and Tabby meet, something clicks, but they both have secrets.
While this story is about Tabby and Patrick, Mark and Sophie play very large roles. I really enjoyed their story continuing on.
The ending is fabulous and it sets us up for Lauren Landish's next series. I can't wait!

While I didn't love this book but I didn't hate it. If you are looking for hot and steamy, not this book. If you are looking for something with some characters that are vigilant in helping their city, this is for you.
This series was written from the POV of Four different characters, Mark, Sophie, Patrick, and Tabby.
While the story was good, there was just too much going on with the different POVs.
In the beginning, it states that you can read previous books to understand more of the story between Mark and Sophie. I went in not reading those and was not confused but I am sure I would have understood a bit more.
I would give this a solid 3.5 to 4 stars.

Enjoyed Just as much as the 1st
This series just keeps getting better , I was glad to see that while we got to find out what would happen with Tabby in this one Mark and Sophie still played pretty big roles as well. Now I am on to the 3rd in the series Justice! I am looking forward to it. These are excellent well written engaging novels with hitman, bad politicians, dirty cops, sexual seduction cons, and people falling in love marrying and having babies! Sounds like a good Afternoon to me!

Book 2, Ambition, was a wonderful read. I loved that this book was told in all 4 character's POVs. It was refreshing to find another author do this. These books are cool!! The fact that a hitman can have a hart is a wonderful concept. Then for him to train an amateur vigilante to be his partner is a plus. It's breathtaking how only 4 people can clean a highly corrupt large city. It's this wholesomeness that keeps me reading.
