I cannot believe it!

Every book gets better than the one before it. This one had me on the edge of my seat!

There were passengers missing from another ship and Danielle took it upon herself to look for them on the new island of Kiriban that the ship was going to stop in.

When the ship docked there, Cat got lost, another island girl got lost and Millie and Annette took out to try to find them all.

With all this excitement I could not put the book down until I found out what happened.

The book is great and Hope is a wonderful author. Now on to the next one!

Millie finds out that she is going to have a new roommate and she isn't going to like to see who it is.
Danielle, her former charge in the last book.

Danielle is helping Millie and Andy with her first assignment, helping a family who won a cruise contest . They need a nice fun filled time while aboard. But Danielle has other plans when they learn a family has vanished on the island of Kiriban. The two boys decide to go with her with out her knowing.

Millie is fit to be tied when Danielle doesn't show back up. Millie and her friends, Cat and Annette go help find them can they make it back in time?

Cat is taken by her ex husband and not looking good.

Danielle is saved by Millie and her friends but Danielle also finds out what happened to the family that vanished. Despite all that has happened Millie and the captain stat dating and the crew is just as fun as ever. Danielle is going to push some boundaries that Andy and Millie are not going to like. Another great read in the series.

I am thoroughly enjoying these cruise ship mysteries! Especially this time, as we were preparing for another cruise ourselves! A fun mystery, but even more fun running around the ship with the assistant cruise director. Lots of fun.

Vanishing Vacationers is the fifth installment in Hope Callaghan’s Cruise Ship Christian Cozy Mysteries Series and, like the first four books, is a delightful and fun read. This book quickly became a page-turner and kept my interest from beginning to end, twists and turns appeared around every corner, and the laughs kept coming too. Ms. Callaghan has written another book with a well-plotted storyline, well-developed characters, and an interesting mystery to try to solve. I love reading a good Whodunit with no foul language, graphic violence, or sexually explicit scenes. Ms. Callaghan is a blessing to her readers and I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading light, cozy Christian mysteries.

The Siren of the Seas embarks on another cruise and Millie is upset when she sees Sarah packing up her things and learns she’s getting a new cabin mate. When Danielle walks in the door dragging a large suitcase behind her, Millie realizes things have gone from bad to worse. On a more positive note, she is excited when she learns the ship will be making a stop at a new port, the small island of Kiriban. Before long, she learns that vacationers have gone missing from the little island they will be visiting and she is quickly caught up in another intriguing mystery. Captain Armati is on leave from the ship and Millie misses him and Scout, the captain’s teacup Yorkie and her sidekick. Millie has her hands full trying to keep her eye on Danielle and figuring out what happened to the vacationers.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A wealthy family has gone missing on a remote island, as well as the two investigators who went in search of them.

When Danielle hears that story and that their ship will make a stop at the same island, she thinks there will surely be a reward. Along with two young boy passengers, she slips out the morning of arrival to find them, and they too disappear. The locals fear they may have been taken as sacrifices to the gods. Later Cat also disappears while on a quick run to the local pharmacy. The sales clerk tells Millie that a scary looking man with a snake tattoo around his neck has been around asking questions about the ship.

Although most of the action takes place off the ship and Captain Armati and his little dog, Scout, are home on holiday, I think this is one of the better books in the series. We learn that Annette must have an interesting past as she seems to possess some unusual skills.

Vanishing Vacationers has a different "feel" than the first four books in this series. Millie Sanders gets an unexpected new roommate when Sarah moves in with her friend Nikki. Surprise! It's Danielle Kneldon! This will make things more interesting. On this cruise, two brothers from Texas won a chess championship and this cruise. The brothers, Brandon and Nathan Kingman, are traveling with their sister, Courtney and G'ma Rae. Captain Armati is on his break in Bertoli while Siren of the Seas is traveling to Kiriban. Much of the story takes place on this small Caribbean island where a family of 4 and 2 investigators have vanished. Although this book seemed different, I enjoyed reading about the main characters and life on a ship. I'm ready for book 6!

Fun read. Interesting characters. Suspenseful mystery plot. Not much in cruising.

Amateur Detective Millie Solves Missing Persons on Island

The retired former owner of Majestic Cruise Lines and his family go missing on the island of Kiliban and Mill's ship is docking there overnights so a large search party can try to find them. Two private investigators, hired by the rest of the relatives to find them, had also disappeared. Since two young boys, passengers, had followed Danielle off the ship as they knew she planned to search for the missing family, Millie and Security staff from the ship went hunting for them. Surprising twists and frightening scenes and characters make this a "can't put it down" read .

Review of this book.

This book was awesome. Full of intrigue and drama. There were moments of humor, romance and spell binding danger. I love the heroine's spunk. She is a fantastic character! These books make it worthwhile to get up in the morning just to read the books. The author is diligent in keeping the reader up to date on any new characters that are brought into the book. She gives you the background on the person and how they tie into the story so the reader is not left dangling. The author is a subpurb writer. Any and all of her books make excellent reading. Enjoy them all

Another Winner

I chose this rating due to the author's ability to create rich characters that remain true to form from the first book in the series to this one. I love each and every character and cannot wait for each new book to come out just so I can visit with them again like friends. I won't spoil this book for others, I just tell them to read it, they will not be disappointed. Our friends are back and solving another case plus an additional friend from last book joins the crew. Hurry up and get your copy ASAP!!!!!

Not bad

This book was not quite as good as 2-4 in my opinion. The Danielle character was downright annoying. There were not quite as many editing errors as in previous books but the were some definite continuity errors that drove me nuts (especially in the transition from book four). The storyline was OK- I didn't find many things believable. But I did enjoy the varied settings a lot, as well as new characters. I truly like Millie and despite its shortcomings I enjoyed the story.

This was the second book in the series I read, and I honestly loved it. This book has a lot of story lines to follow, and a lot more action then the first.
I think some of the punishments for actions are super light, and I kind of wish they did not treat the islanders like they were made up of two kinds of people, good and friendly and rude and bad. it was kind of odd.
I do wish we learned more about the reasons for some of the actions and reactions. but overall I loved how everything turns out.

Watch your step!

Ever wonder how much trouble you could get into an still live? This book is one bad situation into another! Someone gone looking for someone who went missing, only to have the next one go missing too! Now they know why they never stopped at this particular island before! Bet they don't stop next year, either!
If you want to know particular details, read this book! Bet you won't go too far into the forest, next time!
The little they prayed, it must have done some good. They did ask God for help, here and there too!
Good book, I recommend it!
either!

Ok. A little disappointing

This book is more xenophobic than others. The way the main character looked down on the culture and religious beliefs is not what Jesus taught or what Paul explained in his epistles. Also, calling for the ship's doctor because the island's doctor didn't have a clinic and didn't do much more than check out the patient them send her to the hospital is racist. The island's doctor could have done that. Shame this book didn't show real Christian heart to those who have different beliefs.

Good cozy mystery

As a fan of this author, I have to say that she succeeded in putting out another light hearted, cozy mystery. There is one thing that bothers me, both with this series and those of many other authors, that is when the authors have a dog "woof" in answer to human comments or questions. How many real dogs do that, especially on a regular basis? Okay, enough about my "pet" peeve! Overall, a very fun series to read.

This was a pretty exciting book, although I wanted to slap Millie around a bit for taking some of the chances she did. And I thought her a bit hypocritical on her views of Danielle's "meddling" and getting into trouble when Millie is a die hard meddler herself. She's just luckier when it comes to staying out of trouble.

We finally get the conclusion on Cat's ex-husband, and what a tool he was. I can understand why she left him and went into hiding.

This is book #5 in the Cruise Ship mysteries. This was as good as the others but was more serious and not as light and humorous. Millie gets a new roomate. The ship stops at a different island because a wealthy family goes missing on this island. Of course Millie & friends investigate but run into serious problems. This book was not one of my favorites. I am looking forward to the next book though.

I have basically read this entire series (17 books so far, I think)...they are fun and fluffy and clean. I love the Christian aspect, I love the CRUISING aspect, and the characters are pretty likable...
(though admittedly, I sometimes roll my eyes at Millie getting involved once more in something or someplace she has no business being---but since that is the premise of the entire series...there you have it!) Enjoyable "summer" read, all year round.

Great book.

This book had me all over the place. Happy. Sad. Scared. Relieved. CuriOS. Millie, Cat, And the whole crew are great. I loved the incorporation of on ship shop and off ship as a new touch. The plot was easy to read. This book is a great addition to this series. This is a series I will be reccomending to others. Great book.

WOW

This is the best so far. A new roommate who likes to investigate but is more of a risk taker makes Millies life more than interesting in this installment of the Cruise Ship series. When the ship stops at a new port for the 1st time, Danielle, 2 young passengers, and Cat goes missing. Millie and the crew do all they can to find them.

The 5th in the series continues to deliver fun easy reading

I continue to enjoy the mysteries that Millie investigates on the ship with her regular group of friends. Danielle is added as a new member of the crew and part of millies gang as they investigate a disappearance on an island stop on the cruise.

Kindle Unlimited ebook. More action than normal. I’m just wondering why on earth a GM would allow her grandchildren to go to an island with someone they had known for less than a day. Also, I don’t like that the relationship between Millie and the Captain is developing, nicer when it was just a silent crush

Outstanding!

This book is the best one, so far. Lot's of excitement. Of course Millie is in the center of things coming up with ideas no one else has thought of. She has a new team member along with Cat and Annette. Couldn't lay this one down.

Enjoyed this one better than book 4.

I had to cringe when Annette grabbed an apple to take ashore for a snack. Every cruiser knows that you absolutely cannot take food especially fruits and vegetables off the ship.

Another superb Christian Cozy Mystery featuring Millie and the gang! Per usual, the mystery aspect is good (I did figure it out a few pages before the reveal!), the setting exotic and fun, and the characters make the series. On to the next one!

These stories are cute, quick reads. The way the author used religion as a way to look down upon the island residents was really off-putting. And the phrase “good people of the island” just felt..... vaguely racist (perhaps classist) in the context of the story.
