The Wife Of A Texas Hustler

Rate this book
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and that’s exactly what Montez had done when he found the love of his life, Victory Daniels. At an early age Victory, also known as Vic, proved herself to be his backbone, his strength, the one to uplift him at a time of adversity, and one who would forever have his back. Trust was never an issue because no woman ever came before her but temptation swivels its way into their relationship, causing unforeseen problems that Vic won’t put up with. She’s down for her man in every aspect but she demands his respect.
Montez made a quick come-up by having a go-getter mentality and putting in work. The way he silently moved and handles his business places him in a position to make more money than he had ever seen. Things seemed to be handed to with ease, but everything comes with a price. That price goes by the name of Olivia and she wants to stick her claws in him, whether he likes it or not.
Ace loves Cherry with all his heart and for once in his life, he’s finally trying to do right but his past mistake keeps biting him in the butt, causing problems in his relationship. He does all he can to keep the chaos away but the more he tries; the harder it gets.
Cherry is at her wit’s end with Ace and his ways. If it isn’t one thing, it’s another, and she’s getting tired. She’s given her all in their relationship but she feels she isn’t getting all of him in return. Situations arise that really test their love and she doesn’t know whether she is going to ride it out or stick by her man.
Their love is tested, trust broken, and hope is almost diminished, but it will take more than a few haters and mishaps to destroy a bond that took years to build. To love a man is a task in itself, but there is no greater test than being The Wife of a Texas Hustler.

The Wife of a Texas Hustler..
This position was not an easy feat...I liked the strength with the struggle Vic showed when it came to various situations. Her willingness to cover & protect in not so pleasant situations was shown throughout. I thought Cherry was a trooper to hang in there...While I felt a couple of characters should have been burned at the stake, their presence was needed to make the storyline all the more chaotic & dramatic. Great job Mesha Mesh!

Thorough Read!

I really enjoyed this book. While it had all of the elements of a street novel that I've come to expect, the relationship between Montez and Vic was refreshing. You could see that they unquestionably had each others back. From the beginning while struggling to maintain they held each other down. It was great to see how strong minded Victory was and her level of determination can only be said to be second to none. She didn't allow anyone or anything deter her from her personal goals and that is always nice to see when reading about a hustles wife. I think Olivia bit off a bite size of hell when she decided to approach and pursue someone clearly out of her league. While I hate that Montez fell victim to her treachery I did like that the author took the time to show us his genuine remorse and undying love for his wife Vic. Ace epitomized all of the stereotypes of a street dude. He wasn't faithful and he was flashy however with all of this the author still made him very likeable and you couldn't help but root for him to get himself together. Vic and her girls illustrated true sisterhood. They weren't fairweather friends and genuinely had a love and sense of undying loyalty to one another. Overall this was a good read and I recommend it as an enjoyable pasttime. I look forward to part 2. Good Job Mesha Mesh.

Great book

Mesha great job on this 5 Star book. I loved Vic, she was definitely wifey material and Montez recognized it and put a ring on it. She held him down with no question. Let me say the graduation gifts had me jealousy, I was screaming "I wish I had a man that would do this for me". I couldn't believe I was jealous over a character in a book. Now the twist you threw in their relationship had me mad. I was all team Montez until he went astray. Although I hated Ace with a passion for his whoring ways, I felt he truly loved Cherry. Cherry was a good woman, she took responsibility that most women would have walked away from. I loved Vic and Cherry, they were both loyal and supporting to their men.
Olivia and Cola were my most hated characters. They were both trifling and sorry. They were prime examples that the grass is always greener on the other side.
Mesha will have you in your feelings with this one. The characters draws you in from the start. You can't help but to feel connected to at least one of the characters. I strongly recommend this book if you are looking for a great read. Mesha is a very talented author.

Being the wife of a hustler comes with a lot: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Victory aka Vic handled this well as she was down with Montez from the very beginning. Their relationship was one to admire until Montez became a distributor for Olivia, who wanted him from the moment she laid eyes on him and would stop at nothing to have him. While we see the drama unfold with Vic, Montez, and Olivia, we also see the relationship between Cherry, Vic's best friend and Ace, Vic's brother, progress. Their relationship was the opposite of Vic and Montez as Ace put Cherry through it time and time again. After messing up royally for the last time, Cherry called herself leaving for good. Although months have passed, she just couldn't stay away.

I enjoyed this read and found myself becoming more engrossed with the story the further I got into it. I look forward to part II because it seems we'll be in for a wild ride as a war has officially started between Victory and Olivia.

Satisfied Reader

This was a great story. For the life of me I can't understand when a man has a good woman at home they have to cheat. Montez knew Olivia was up too no good and to give her what she wanted (the wood) he thought would make it alrite NOT. That makes it worse especially if its good. Ace was careless sleeping with Cola unprotected and now he's dealing with her craziness. She's not wrapped too tight at all. Vic was a great woman and stepped up to take care of the baby that was conceived from his cheating. Olivia is not the HBIC after all. Vic nd Cherry are my ride or die chics. Great Job

Great Read

This was a great book. I liked Cherry and Ace even though he was a dog. I thought Cherry was a fool to keep messing with him but I guess that heart wants what the heart wants. Vic and Montez was great even though he messed up too. I like that she was there for him when he needed her the most. Now that b***h Olivia I couldn't stand her when she first entered the book. I knew she was gonna be trouble but she gonna learn today. Can't wait for part 2 to drop to see what happens.

Woman Instincts

I gave this book five stars because of the writers penmanship. Vic was no fool. She knew Olivia wanted her husband. Olivia an every day female. One with no respect for the next felt like she had Power and what she wanted she got. When you come from having to work for what you have to having it given to you, you appreciate, pat attention to the the smallest thing. Here a story about two women one with known power and the other with hidden power. The love of a man will make you do some crazy stuff. Good job waiting on part two.

A must read

This is a must read. I was drawn in from the very first page. I was on the edge of my seat until the very last page. Vic is my girl. Her and Montezuma have a very real relationship but of course someone came along to mess things up for them. This book has plenty of drama to keep you turning the pages. I can't wait until the next installment drops.

This was a good book. It was amazing how far Olivia was willing to go in order to get a man. This was my first read by this author but it won't be my last. It was a well written story that kept my attention from beginning to end. It was also a quick read. Kudos!
