I received this book through Goodreads first-reads.
The author puts the correct Biblical perspective of the wife's submission to the husband. She also puts in the correct Biblical perspective of how a husband if to treat and to love his wife, as Christ loves the Church. She eliminates a lot of centuries old misnomers of what submission in marriage or to men in general is. There are a few little things I disagree with but over all I think the author really brought out the true reality of what marriage means. The roles of each partner in the marriage and the center role of God being in that marriage. The end of each section contains questions for personal reflection and space to write a personal prayer and a small to do list to incorporate things into your marriage. This book is suitable for married couples. I also recommend it for singles, both women and men, to be prepared for marriage and to understand their proper role in that marriage.
