Fans of The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch Series will enjoy getting all the short novellas featuring Lana and Ty, plus their adorable kids in one place. If you have not read The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch then you are missing out. I highly recommend this series to paranormal romance fans who love werwolves, action, and heart-stopping romance.
I do recommend reading Desert Moon first, since these novellas feature the Alpha pair from that book. Do you have to have read it to read these novellas? No, but it helps you understand the couple a little better.

Desert Wolf 1: Friend or Foe

Desert Wolf 1 in The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch by Anna Lowe. Was a sweet short novella, thats fast-paced, with strong characters, and passion.
I liked this novella in The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch. It takes us back to see Lana and Ty, 2 years into their mating, as they go and visit Lana’s family. It’s about a man, Ty, proving himself to his mate and her family. It had my attention from beginning to end.
Desert Wolf is best read after book one Desert Moon, since it deals with our main couple Lana and Ty from Desert Moon.
Desert Wolf 2: Strangers in the Night

Desert Wolf 2 is a short novella where we return to Twin Moon Ranch and the lives of it’s Alpha pair Ty and Lana. This novella gives you a nice taste of the authors writing, characters, and world created.
Desert Wolf 2 shows us Lana’s pregnancy. We also get to see Ty’s vulnerable side and how scared he is of becoming a dad. He worries like most new parents whether he will be a good father. Lana well she will not slow down. She is working way to hard. These two get a much need break from the Ranch and a little downtime to be a couple. They do end up face a situation together and handle it as a mated couple should.
It is always fun returning to Twin Moon Ranch. Anna Lowe knows how to bring her characters to life. She gets the emotional journey down and as a reader we end up feeling what they feel and understanding their inner turmoils. We also get a very well written sex scene, that is sweet and steamy.
Desert Wolf 3: Chance Encounters

Desert Wolf 3 is a short novella where we return to Twin Moon Ranch and the lives of it’s Alpha pair Ty and Lana. This novella gives you a nice taste of the authors writing, characters, and world created.
Desert Wolf 3 shows us Ty, our Alpha, and a chance for us to see his sweeter side. We get to see him taking care of his baby girl all by himself for the first time. While his mate Lana gets some much needed wolf time/run with her friend Rae who is introduced in Desert Hunt. It was nice to see that vulnerable side to the Alpha of Twin Moon Ranch, as well as both Ty and Lana, ending up facing their own situations and having the help of their friends to solve them.
What I love best about Anna Lowe is how vividly and in great detail she writes. She also gets the emotional journey of her characters down pat. As the reader you end up feeling what they feel and understand their inner dilemmas. They are the same things we all end up worrying about at one point or another in our lives.
Desert Wolf 4: A Very Close Shave

This short story takes place during the events of Desert Blood.
It’s a very quick, sweet, and short read; into the private lives of Ty and his mate Lana who are the Alpha leaders at Twin Moon Ranch during a time when they rarely get a free moment. I can see the impact of Ty submitting to his mate Lana, but I did not see the point behind this scene. It was not as powerful or moving as some of her other works I have read.
We also get a little teaser with Cody and the troubles he is having in Desert Blood. Which I enjoyed seeing this moment between brothers.

Series: The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch #1.1-1.4
Rating: 3 stars - I liked it
Friend or Foe:
This story takes place two years after Ty and Lana mate. They are visiting Lana’s family in Massachusetts. While there Ty has to deal with posturing males, adoring kids, and an unusual shifter.
This was a nice little addition to Ty and Lana’s story. It shows how strong their relationship has gotten and that they are making plans to expand their family for the future. While I enjoyed this story, all I can think about is the reveal of sasquatch shifters. Now I really want to know more about them.
Strangers in the Night:
This story takes place about 3.5 years after Ty and Lana have mated. Lana is pregnant and Ty is becoming extremely protective of her. When Lana refuses to slow down on work, Ty takes her away to the cabin for a few days to give her a break. Their break is interrupted by javelina shifters though.
Like the previous stories, this was short and gives us another glimpse of Ty and Lana’s life as alphas of the Twin Moon pack. They are really busy but they make time for themselves. I like seeing the progression of their relationship in these stories, especially since we don’t get to see a lot of that relationship building in the first book. Also I think one of the things I like most about these shorts is all the different paranormals that are being introduced.
Chance Encounters:
In this story, Lana is getting her first girls night out after having their baby. While Ty gets to spend quality time with baby Tana, Lana is out with Rae dealing with cougar shifters. Like the previous stories, this was short and sweet. I am surprised though that Ty lets Audrey act the way she does towards the mated males when he is the alpha.
TW: fertility issues and miscarriages discussed;
A Very Close Shave:
This story takes place about two years after the previous one and Tana is now two. Ty and Lana are getting a little break to fulfill one of the fantasies that Ty has had for a while now. Unfortunately, Cody decides to interrupt them with questions about mating and love.
This gives a brief glimpse of what a future book with Cody will be dealing with. I liked this brief story for its foreshadowing and because we finally get to see Ty have that fantasy that keeps popping up in these shorts.

Desert Wolf 1: Friend or Foe
I loved catching up with Ty and Lana. It was interesting seeing Ty out of his element while visiting Lana's family. I felt bad for him knowing how uncomfortable he was around her parents due to their history with his father though. But of course, Ty proved he is the Alpha for a reason and showed he is worthy of Lana. Looking forward to the next book.
Desert Wolf 2: Strangers in the Night
I love this series and these characters. I am completely invested in them and their HEA's, whether they've already gotten them or are still waiting for theirs. I loved this inside look at Ty and Lana's life during her pregnancy. It was so sweet to see the love Ty has for her and their baby and how much he just wants to take care of her and make sure they're both okay. But we also get to see the love Lana has for Ty and that she's concerned for him too because of all the responsibilities that being an Alpha entails. It was fun watching both of these stubborn people try to find a compromise they could both be happy with. I also really liked that Cody, who timeline wise hasn't had his book yet, is shown a little more of the respect he deserves as his family realizes that he can do more and that he wants to do more to help out his brother, the Alpha. I also am very curious to see how the introduction of the Javelinas may play out in future books. Anna, thanks again for another great book. I can't get enough of this series.
Desert Wolf 3: Chance Encounters
I love these inside looks Anna gives us on Ty and Lana. In this one, Lana is having a girl's night out with Rae. Her first one since Tana was born. Actually, since before Tana was born. Lana and Rae are going to get all wolfy and go for a run. Ty will be watching Tana for the first time by himself. He's an excellent father and is a very hands-on Dad with everything Tana related. But, Lana has always been nearby. Of course, he's nervous and he's also going to miss his mate, but he knows she needs this and wants her to have it. Lana is just as reluctant to leave Ty and Tana, but knows her wolf needs to be let out to play.
Lana and Rae have a great run, that is until they come across three cougar shifters on their land. Things get pretty tense for a bit. Thankfully, between Lana and Rae, they're able to keep all three cougars calm and are able to figure out the situation and resolve it. You'll want to read the book and get the full story. It's worth it.
Ty and Tana are getting along great, even though Ty is really missing his mate. But it was sweet reading about his one on one time with Tana and also hot as he remembered when he and Lana created Tana. He is completely in love with his mate and daughter. Of course, things are never that simple because someone, Audrey *cough cough tramp*, is completely dense, has no boundaries and decides to visit Ty, because he might be "lonely." Yes, she actually says this to the mated Alpha while he's holding his daughter. Thankfully, Ty is able to get rid of her and hopefully he finally got his point across. He's never been interested in her, he'll never be interested in her, he loves his mate, only wants his mate, and Audrey is wasting her time. I don't think I'm the only one that wants to reach through the book and beat the crap out of her. Oh my gosh, go away. Please. Go far, far away, Audrey. I feel bad for her future mate. Can you imagine his reaction when he finds out how "friendly" she likes to be? Then again, wolf shifters are sexual creatures, so it might not faze him at all. Heck, he could be the male version of Audrey. But, I have to admit, I'm kind of hoping he's the exact opposite of her, because I want to watch her prove herself, her love, to him and maybe have an epiphany of how her past behavior has impacted others. *insert evil laugh*
I love this series. I hope it continues on for a long time to come. I also hope we continue to get these peeks into Ty and Lana's life. I'd love to get one on Cody and Heather as well. *hint hint Anna* ;-)
Desert Wolf 4: A Very Close Shave
This short story offers a more in depth peek at a personal moment between Ty and Lana which we briefly observed in Desert Blood, book 2 in the Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series, which is Cody and Heather's book. Without going too deep into that story because you really should read it, it's a great story, Cody knows Heather, a human, is his mate. But he also knows as a son of the "ruling" family, he's expected to mate with another wolf. Cody visits his big brother, Ty, for advice.
Lana knows her mate needs to relax because he takes so much upon himself, but she needs to help him achieve that relaxation because she's the only one that can. So after Tana, their young daughter, goes off with great -Grandma to visit the horses, Lana starts Operation Close Shave.
Lana definitely helps Ty relax...on a leadership level. LOL But on a personal level, she and Ty are both very umm, excited. *eye waggle* As the air around them is practically sizzling, Cody interrupts their mate time. Ugh...shave blocked. LOL Thankfully, due to Ty giving him a time limit as their alone time is short, Cody leaves fairly quickly after getting his advice and Ty and Lana easily get back to the foreplay, err shave. *grin*
Ty still can't believe this amazing woman is his and Lana can't believe how happy she is with the man of her dreams. After the shave is finished, which Ty knows could easily become addictive, they decide to finish off their alone time with a bang. *wink*
Phew, just in time, because great-Grandma and Tana are making their way down the path to home and Tana is ready to tell her beloved parents all about her trip to see the horses.
I highly recommend this story, this series, as I have loved every book Anna has released about this pack. I also love that we're getting these short stories revolving around Ty and Lana. It's nice to see them one on one, as mates, as parents, on a more personal level at various intervals in their relationship.

Take a bite out of love and life
Such are the thoughts of Ty, a new wolf dad on the eve of his mate, Lana going off for a girls night out leaving him with their baby. Four hours alone with the baby. That shouldn’t be so hard now should it? He’d done it all before, burping, diapering, the works. And, what of Lana? Four hours away from her four-month-old baby and her mate… a much-needed reprieve to reward her wolf. Still, it’s hard to walk away. Even harder still is confronting the dangers of the night when one wrong step could mean never coming home again. But, like the alpha wolf she is, Lana is more than up for any challenge. All of it makes coming home so much more rewarding than she ever thought possible.
As hot as this scene was between Ty and Lana I have to admit the first thing it stirred in me was nostalgia. I can remember standing quietly at the door to the bathroom as I watched my grandfather go through his shaving routine. Desert Wolf 1: Friend or Foe
Desert Wolf is a great slice of the happily ever after for Lana and Ty of Desert Moon. However, it’s just that, a slice, not the whole cake. But this cake happens to be multi-layered as well as multi-textured. In Desert Wolf, Lana and Ty have traveled to visit the Berkshire pack on the east coast. Considering the Berkshires are Lana’s old pack and family as well as pack enemies to Ty’s pack, you can guess things aren’t going to go overly smooth for Ty. Challenges are inherent to the situation. But, aside from these things you get to witness the two of them away from their own pack and the growth even such a short trip away can give their own relationship. While short the story was a great introduction to the series. I was definitely intrigued by Lana and Ty who are obviously both strong alphas and very in tune with each other. Desert Wolf was my introduction to The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series and I looked forward to picking up Desert Moon and the rest to see what I’d been missing.
Desert Wolf 2: Strangers in the Night
Their love and bond are still as strong as ever and Ty is feeling the pressure to ensure his mate is taken care of in the last trimester of her pregnancy. The impending stress of fatherhood weighs on him. Can he be the father his never was? The alpha demands of pack life are many but there has to be a balance. Three days away in the wilds of the desert at their cabin calls to him. But his duties as an alpha forever pursue him. In this case, it’s a visit from old allies… are they still allies or are they a threat to his mate and pack? Find out and discover just why Ty and Lana are the perfect compliment to each other.

Such are the thoughts of Ty, a new wolf dad on the eve of his mate, Lana going off for a girls night out leaving him with their baby. Four hours alone with the baby. That shouldn’t be so hard now should it? He’d done it all before, burping, diapering, the works. And, what of Lana? Four hours away from her four-month-old baby and her mate… a much-needed reprieve to reward her wolf. Still, it’s hard to walk away. Even harder still is confronting the dangers of the night when one wrong step could mean never coming home again. But, like the alpha wolf she is, Lana is more than up for any challenge. All of it makes coming home so much more rewarding than she ever thought possible.
Desert Wolf 4: A Very Close Shave
It’s funny how just changing the POV of a scene can stir totally different things in a person. The main scene in this short story is presented in Desert Blood from Cody’s perspective. Of course, you only get a glimpse into the scene from an outsider perspective. It was hot but nowhere the kinda hot it is from Ty’s.
”He leaned back before she told him to, exposing his throat unquestioningly. There was something quietly thrilling about submitting to the chiseled edge of a razor, as long as it was yielded by the one person in the world he could truly trust. Something that turned on every fight-or-flight instinct yet kept them barely leashed, thrumming with tension.”
As hot as this scene was between Ty and Lana I have to admit the first thing it stirred in me was nostalgia. I can remember standing quietly at the door to the bathroom as I watched my grandfather go through his shaving routine. Now that I have read them I’m just a little impatient for my next trip to the ranch. If you enjoy a good wolf shifter tale then this series should definitely capture your interests.

I read the first 3 of the 'Desert Wolf' collection when they were first published & I enjoyed re-reading them in this complete collection, I couldn't wait to read installment 4 as it hasn't been previously published.
Desert Wolf 1: Friend or Foe..... This was a very quick read, set 2 years after the end of 'Desert Moon', Lana & Ty head back to Berkshires, so Lana can introduce her mate to her family. Her old pack & family test Ty constantly, Lana knows Ty can hold his own, but Ty is feeling stressed. As over protective brothers & her Alpha father keep testing him to make sure he is deserving of their daughter/sister.
Desert Wolf 2: Strangers in the Night..... OMG, happy dance.... I LOVE Anna's "Twin Moon Ranch" series! I love the story of Ty & Lana, & getting little looks into their future, seeing what is happening.... just makes the story that much better. This is another quick read, set a little more in the future than 'Desert Wolf'... Ty is taking Lana on a weekend away, in hopes they can have some quiet time away from pack life & before their baby arrives.
Desert Wolf 3: Chance Encounters..... I'm loving the brief snippets of Ty & Lana's future that Anna Lowe is bestowing on us & 'Desert Wolf 3' is no different. I highly recommend you read these in order, well at least the Desert Wolf novellas. I FLOVE Anna Lowe's "Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch" series! In this delicious quick read Lana is having her first night run as a wolf since giving birth, leaving Ty to look after the baby... how does Alpha Ty cope?? you have to read this to find out.
Desert Wolf 4: A Very Close Shave..... I loved reading this snippet in Ty & Lana's life, set yet again in the future that Anna Lowe is gifting us. Ty & Lana have a private moment away from the pack & their 2 year old daughter, where Lana gives Ty what he's been craving... a chance to relax, among other things. This scene is an extended snippet from book 2 'Desert Blood' which Cody stumbles upon his alpha pair.
LOVED every little snippet into the lives of Ty & Lana, all predate book 2 of the series, so if you are yet to start reading the "Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch" series, I would suggest you read it in the following order... Desert Wolf box set is the happily ever after for Lana and Ty with peaks into their lives after mating.
I recommend you first read The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch to better appreciate this set.
Friend or Foe: It was an intense, short and sweet read. We get to see Ty meeting Lana's parents and he has to prove himself worthy of their daughter.
Strangers in the Night: An inside look at Ty and Lana during her pregnancy. Both have to make adjustments during this time as well as deal with a possible threat.
Chance Encounters: Ty has babysitting duty while Lana gets a much needed girls night out. We get to see Ty's sweet and caring side in this book.
A Very Close Shave: Ty needs some R&R and Lana knows just what he needs. A scene that shows how much trust he has in his mate.
I loved The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch and the set gives us short stories revolving the Alpha couple. They have to nagivate through pregnancy, parenthood and the responsibility of being leaders of the pack.
Writing that truly never lets the reader down. The characters feel true and authentic in their emotional journey.

This is a terrific collection! I love seeing more with Ty and Lana! Each of these short stories shows the depth of love Ty and Lana have for each other. They are too sweet and each story made my heart melt with how adorable they are! Plus, each story has some steam! Friend or Foe has Ty and Lana going to visit Lana's family. Strangers in the Night has Lana and Ty take a break from work and go on a little getaway before their baby is born. Chance Encounters has Ty watching the baby while Lana has a girl's night. A Very Close Shave shows Lana and Ty enjoying a brief moment without their daughter Tana. I loved all the stories, but A Very Close Shave was hot, hot, hot! It's great to see the love between Lana and Ty has only grown stronger and stronger over time. The chemistry between the two is off the charts! Wonderful collection of stories!

This was the first series I read by Anna Lowe. I was hooked after book one. Reading as Ty and Lana find their way to each other was an addiction. I couldn't put it down - in fact, I read all 6 books in the entire series in one weekend! I would recommend Anna's books to anyone that's looking for a GREAT paranormal romance.

Twin Moon Ranch short stories.
It was icing on the cake. Added more depth to Lana and Ty. They have a terrible time getting any alone time. There is always some kind of adventure happening in or around home for them. If you've read the other books in this series get this to. Also try the Blue Moon Saloon series, it's also very good.

#1 Desert Wolf:Friend or Foe ........ Now this book picks up two years later, Lana Dixion and her mate Ty Hawthorne have been happy at the ranch but now go to her clan in the Berkshires New England. He won her at his home but now must prove himself worthy of her to her clan and in laws. Lana being raised in a home with her Alpha father and three alpha brothers ,knew how alphas were when they met.She also knew that men and sticks were Dangerous(her clan favorite pass time was Lacrosse) and ultraterritorial alpha males downright lethal when they got riled up and they were definitely riled up. What will happen? Even the shifters are different not just wolves but beaver,elk,and wolverines. They even used to be a sasquatch shifters somewhere north of pack territory.Can he earn a place with her family as she did with his?
# 2 Desert Wolf : Strangers in the Night....With Lana 6 months pregnant Ty's world is changing , he is changing. He feels she is over working and secretly plans a 3 day get a way at the cabin , where there isn't phone service so everyone will leave her alone for a while. Lana tells Ty he needs to stop worrying and she knows just how to help him. Which will lead to a funny few hours as she proceeds to show him, first having him sit in the chair on the patio. The plan is something she has had on her mind a couple of years. And that's all I will say, ENJOY

Desert Wolf 1 – Friend or Foe – Anna Lowe
Having read the Twin Moon Ranch series, or what is available so far, this short story is a bit of a look to what has happened in the lives of Ty and Lana since they’ve finally found themselves and mated. As they return to Lana’s hometown, where she was raised, and to visit with her family, of which her father is the pack alpha, they experience many anxieties since the Twin Moon pack and her pack aren’t exactly friends…more like sworn enemies because of past history between her parents and Ty’s father. But, as they are about to discover, there lies danger no matter where you go. Will Lana’s family finally be able to accept Ty as her mate and be happy about it? Will this visit lead to changes in their lives as mated alphas? And as we all know, you may have called the place you grew up in “home”, but truly, home is where the heart is, as Lana and Ty will soon realize.
Anna has, once again, taken me away on a trip down “imagination lane” with this series. As I read her work, I feel like it could be me I’m reading about, her emotions are so clear and heart felt, that you simply can’t help but fall in love with her characters. And who doesn’t want someone like Ty?
Desert Wolf 2 – Strangers in the Night
Every couple needs a bit of alone time, and Ty and Lana are no different. Only one problem, there always seems to be an intruder or two or three. After planning a three day getaway for his mate, Ty swoops down and carries her off to “the cabin”, where there is no phone service, or any services for that matter. As they begin to settle in, they are confronted by three intruders, seeking the alpha. So much action in such a short story, you won’t be able to put it down until you’re finished. I love the fact that Ms. Lowe is giving us these little snippets of Ty and Lana after their HEA. By doing this, she has created the “for real” effect of the characters that only endears them more to the readers. Loved it and looking forward to the next episode.
Desert Wolf 3 – Chance Encounters
Ahhh! Every couple needs to have his or her alone time, but these two find all kinds of excitement no matter where they go and with whom. As Lana takes a “girls night run” with Rae, they come across trouble with a capital T. It was a good thing it was Rae that was with her, as they needed all of her Mistress of the Hunt powers to deal with the crisis they found. And Ty was not without his own version of trouble, only his came in the form of Audrey, the forever pest in his point of view. Thank God for Zack’s great timing, or who knows what poor Tana would have had to witness.
Ms. Lowe continues to grab my attention with her writing and especially this series. If you haven’t started reading it yet, you should start at the beginning. You won’t be disappointed.
Desert Wolf 4 – A Very Close Shave
What a beautiful way to finish off this compilation of short tales that give us a further look into the lives of Ty and Lana. Just more proof that this couple were meant for each other. The love they share shines through every word, giving us a warm fuzzy feeling all over. The heat between the two is almost enough to require a fire extinguisher close by. The trust each has for the other is amazing. Absolutely love this series and am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to read this set of shorts. I am looking forward to whatever comes next.

Having read the Twin Moon Ranch series, or what is available so far, this short story is a bit of a look to what has happened in the lives of Ty and Lana since they’ve finally found themselves and mated. As they return to Lana’s hometown, where she was raised, and to visit with her family, of which her father is the pack alpha, they experience many anxieties since the Twin Moon pack and her pack aren’t exactly friends…more like sworn enemies because of past history between her parents and Ty’s father. But, as they are about to discover, there lies danger no matter where you go. Will Lana’s family finally be able to accept Ty as her mate and be happy about it? Will this visit lead to changes in their lives as mated alphas? And as we all know, you may have called the place you grew up in “home”, but truly, home is where the heart is, as Lana and Ty will soon realize.
Anna has, once again, taken me away on a trip down “imagination lane” with this series. As I read her work, I feel like it could be me I’m reading about, her emotions are so clear and heart felt, that you simply can’t help but fall in love with her characters. And who doesn’t want someone like Ty?
Desert Wolf 2 – Strangers in the Night
Every couple needs a bit of alone time, and Ty and Lana are no different. Only one problem, there always seems to be an intruder or two or three. After planning a three day getaway for his mate, Ty swoops down and carries her off to “the cabin”, where there is no phone service, or any services for that matter. As they begin to settle in, they are confronted by three intruders, seeking the alpha. So much action in such a short story, you won’t be able to put it down until you’re finished. I love the fact that Ms. Lowe is giving us these little snippets of Ty and Lana after their HEA. By doing this, she has created the “for real” effect of the characters that only endears them more to the readers. Loved it and looking forward to the next episode.
Desert Wolf 3 – Chance Encounters
Ahhh! Every couple needs to have his or her alone time, but these two find all kinds of excitement no matter where they go and with whom. As Lana takes a “girls night run” with Rae, they come across trouble with a capital T. It was a good thing it was Rae that was with her, as they needed all of her Mistress of the Hunt powers to deal with the crisis they found. And Ty was not without his own version of trouble, only his came in the form of Audrey, the forever pest in his point of view. Thank God for Zack’s great timing, or who knows what poor Tana would have had to witness.
Ms. Lowe continues to grab my attention with her writing and especially this series. If you haven’t started reading it yet, you should start at the beginning. You won’t be disappointed.
Desert Wolf 4 – A Very Close Shave
What a beautiful way to finish off this compilation of short tales that give us a further look into the lives of Ty and Lana. Just more proof that this couple were meant for each other. The love they share shines through every word, giving us a warm fuzzy feeling all over. The heat between the two is almost enough to require a fire extinguisher close by. The trust each has for the other is amazing. Absolutely love this series and am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to read this set of shorts. I am looking forward to whatever comes next.

You know how tuff brothers are with men who are with there sisters. Yep, you got it Ty has to prove he was worthy, so let the games begin!!

Lana went running with Rae yep girls night out.. It felt so good, been so long since she ran. Can she keep up with Rae, yep she could. They both stop dead in there tracks, did you hear that, what could it be? Someone's approaching I'd like to know what's going on first it's was the javelinas now months later someone else is in our territory. In the shadows you could see six glowing eyes, who are they? What do they want? Should we call for help?

Desert Wolf #1
This was a carry-on of Desert Moon, Ty and Lana's story. They go to Lana's home to meet her family. It was short but really sweet!
Desert Wolf 2
Ty wants to take Lana away for 3 days to their cabin. But his mate is stubborn and is worrying about everything, Ty is not taking no for an answer. She's pregnant and needs to relax and be loved. With the unexpected threat, will she let him look after her and what will it take to reach the compromise!
Really sweet short story. Ty is so loving and is concerned about Lana and the baby, she's not been relaxing and he wants her to slow down. He takes her to the cabin, away from the pack and the responsibilities that go with it. He wants to spend some time together, just him and his mate before the baby arrives. They get some unexpected guests which sends Ty into protective mode but it's soon sorted and with a little loving from both sides they push it to the back of their minds. Even when things don't run as smoothly as he'd hoped they still work out in the end. I wish it could have been a bit longer but it was still very enjoyable!

Lana has a girls night out with friend and fellow pack mate. But it's not a night out in the traditional sense, but time to let their wolves run free, uninhibited. She's been looking forward to it as she's been preoccupied with work, pack and her daughter. But things don't always run smoothly and an interruption cuts their run short.
Ty is on babysitting duty to his 4 month old daughter, Tana. Ty and Lana decided they didn't want random people looking after Tana, so the alpha offered. His looking forward to spending time with his her but is left with a little anxiety. It doesn't help when the past comes knocking and won't take a hint
This was a really sweet catch-up story. Short but really enjoyable. It was nice to catch up and see the love that the alpha pair still share. And who can resist a big dominant alpha male who dotes on his daughter. Really sweet read. (This is part of a series and should be read in order)!

Alpha wolf Ty Hawthorne has been so caught up in work and leading his pack he wonders if he will ever get a break. Not with a vampire on the loose and his younger brother acting a little strangely either. But when his daughter goes off with her great grandmother and his mate comes along with a naughty smile with a razor in hand, his knows his in for a very hot afternoon.
This was a hot, sizzling short read. I liked the sweet storyline and it was nice to see Ty and Lana have some lone time. Enjoyable!

I read the first 3 of the 'Desert Wolf' collection when they were first published & I enjoyed re-reading them in this complete collection, I couldn't wait to read installment 4 as it hasn't been previously published.
Desert Wolf 1: Friend or Foe..... This was a very quick read, set 2 years after the end of 'Desert Moon', Lana & Ty head back to Berkshires, so Lana can introduce her mate to her family. Her old pack & family test Ty constantly, Lana knows Ty can hold his own, but Ty is feeling stressed. As over protective brothers & her Alpha father keep testing him to make sure he is deserving of their daughter/sister.
Desert Wolf 2: Strangers in the Night..... OMG, happy dance.... I LOVE Anna's "Twin Moon Ranch" series! I love the story of Ty & Lana, & getting little looks into their future, seeing what is happening.... just makes the story that much better. This is another quick read, set a little more in the future than 'Desert Wolf'... Ty is taking Lana on a weekend away, in hopes they can have some quiet time away from pack life & before their baby arrives.

In this delicious quick read Lana is having her first night run as a wolf since giving birth, leaving Ty to look after the baby... how does Alpha Ty cope?? you have to read this to find out.
Desert Wolf 4: A Very Close Shave..... I loved reading this snippet in Ty & Lana's life, set yet again in the future that Anna Lowe is gifting us. Ty & Lana have a private moment away from the pack & their 2 year old daughter, where Lana gives Ty what he's been craving... a chance to relax, among other things. This scene is an extended snippet from book 2 'Desert Blood' which Cody stumbles upon his alpha pair.
LOVED every little snippet into the lives of Ty & Lana, all predate book 2 of the series, so if you are yet to start reading the "Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch" series, I would suggest you read it in the following order... Desert Hunt bk 0.5, Desert Moon bk 1, Desert Wolf 1-4, Desert Blood bk 2, Desert Fate bk 3, Desert Heart bk 4, & Happily Mated After bk 4.5, there is also a Christmas short story Desert Yule. I can't wait to read what happens next in the series.
