Seven months after the death of SixGun Outlaw member Alan "Stone" James, the motorcycle club is trying to rebuild their lives and learn how to go on without their president, friend, and family member.

But moving on isn't as easy for Espina "Thorne" Lopez after having lost her sister. Content to spend her days alone, beating up a punching bag and wallowing in her grief, no one has seen Thorne since. Until she's called in for a favor involving her partner's brother.

Dalton "Apollo" Kilpatrick is arrested for something he didn't do, but no one believes him. So the judge puts him on a three month house arrest in the home of the last person who wants him. Will they get along, or will she be a Thorne in his side?

Apollo is a handsome man that women can't deny - some would go as far as to call him beautiful. Thorne considers herself a monster - a beast for not being able to stop what happened to her sister.

So ... "Why not put the beauty with the beast" and see what happens?

Can Dalton repair the crack in her heart before the last petal falls?

Scarred Asphalt (Asphalt Outlaw Book 2)
Blue Remy
5 stars

Let me start with saying I turned to page one of this book and read through about page 4 before I messaged Tracy and asked her to kindly email Blue Remy and let her know my review would come but NO WAY was I reviewing this book without reading the first release in the series “Twisted Asphalt” because it was THAT FANTASTIC. By page 4 I was done for .. hooked … and holding on for dear life.

Scarred Asphalt is a brilliant title number one and is a magnificent connection to what happens in the first release. The cover .. beautiful once you know the story that lies between the pages. Scarred takes right in to where we were left in Twisted Asphalt and thank goodness I didn’t know about this series prior to the second release in the series. I would have been face planted on the ground with no return for days where I was left. Im not saying its any better at the end of this book but I can hang on for a bit .. maybe … HA!

The club is still healing form the death of Stone. Rebuilding the loss of the best man they all knew as well as Maggie has left scars on everyone’s heart. Thorne isn’t dealing well and still doesn’t know the truth behind her sister’s death as the club has kept what really happened from her. Espina Thorne Lopez lost herself the night of the accident. Never did she think she would also lose her sister so unexpectedly.

Romeo needs a favor and he knows exactly who to call in .. Thorne. Dalton Apollo Kilpatrick has been arrested on bogus charges and is put on house arrest. In order to keep him close to the club, allow him to work and stay within his house arrest conditions Thorne’s house is the perfect location. Unknowingly thrown together, this becomes one heck of a whirl wind. Apollo only sees a beautiful woman who cant seem to see that her scars don’t own her or at least shouldn’t. I love the way Apollo tells Thorne how it is and doesn’t pull any punches in throwing the truth at her. Thorne’s attitude doesn’t scare him. I also love Throne’s strong side when she isn’t wallowing in her pity party.

Along with Apollo and Thorne’s story we get to see where Amy is and there is a wing-dinger of an eye opener with Romeo as well. I am head over heals for Wolf and cant wait to find out more about he and Hawkeye. Bring on round three Blue! Im making the story up in my head of who took that certain phone call just to hold me over …. LOVE this series!

Thank you for the ARC and the extra time to go back and read the first release! This is a keeper … cant wait to dig in deeper and meet all the guys.

*I was gifted a copy for an honest review.

I loved the first book in this series and the twists at the end definitely left me wanting more. Blue Remy did not disappoint with the second book in her Asphalt Outlaw Series. By briefly introducing us to Thorne in the first book, and seeing the attack she endured, as well as her extreme loss, I was instantly drawn into this story.

Thorne is an EMT, and whether she likes it or not, she is also considered family by the Six-Gun Outlaw MC. After getting caught in the cross-hairs of an assault aimed at the club that results in her dis-figuration, and the loss of her sister, she secluded herself in her home. She was an aspiring model with a beautiful heart to match; but now, she holds only resentment to anyone who tries to help her.

Dalton "Apollo" Kilpatrick, is a newly patched member. His job as a photographer, gets him arrested on a trumped up charge, and when the judge sentences him to house arrest, he asks the club for help. He can't work from where he lives.

The new president of the Six-Guns has a solution - Apollo can be on house arrest for the three months in Thorne's house, which is closer to his work. This works for Apollo who has always admired Thorne from afar. He even took on the duty of becoming her bodyguard after her attack. But Thorne just thinks he likes her out of pity.

I loved this book. Where I liked the first in this series (I gave it a 4.5), the second in this series really let the writer shine. This is a MC book, but it focuses on the growing relationship between these two beautiful people, as well as the strengthening bonds of the club. The Six-Guns are more than a club, they are a family; and they are trying to steer away from the criminal activities from their past. This was a 5 star read, with a strong female lead. Blue Remy - I want to read Romeo's story ASAP - PLEASE!!!

First things first, this book starts were twisted ended. Apollo is arrested for a bogus charge. due to his unfortunate situation he is thrust into Thorn's home. Thorn has been a mess since her sisters death and She likes her solitude. Once Apollo breaks down her walls they explosive together. The sex scenes in this book are off the charts hawt!! there is drama, Parties, and down right cat fights. all together they make for one of the best MC reads i have ever read!!

“‘Scars give character, Thorne. It adds to your beauty, when you’re not being a raging btch and feeling sorry for yourself. I really hope this proves it. And I won’t say it again.’”

5 Scarred stars!! Just when I thought this book couldn’t be better than the first…..it was so much more!!

Thorne and Dalton are everything you’ll ever need in a book couple!! Dark, twisted and scarred!! I fell in love with their story and their relationship. There was so much angst on the pages, one minute you want to hug them, the next you want to hurt them. I’m hooked on this series, and I’m not ashamed to admit it!!!

My Review of Scarred Asphalt by Blue Remy
My Rating 5 Stars
The highly anticipated second book in the Outlaw Asphalt Series, Scarred starts right where Twisted left off. Blue begin this story with intensity that continues throughout. The prologue OMG!!! “You’ll" have to read, because it’s truly EPIC!
Apollo and Thorne are thrown together. Apollo being the alpha male that he is, is working at being the man to break through the hard shell Thorne has built around her emotions and her heart. Apollo doesn’t put up with Attitude from Thorne unless it’s the kind that turns him on….. CAUTION: Panty melting “HOT” scenes!!
Thorne has lived through tragedy and is scarred & so insecure which has left her broken.
Apollo is attentive, trustworthy and all Alpha Male. Apollo being the man that he is which is exactly the man Thorne didn’t know she needed.
Blue has pure talent when she sets up a scene, keeping the suspense, and keeping you on the edge of your seat. A true story teller at work. I highly recommend this series!
I can’t wait to see what Blue bring us next!

Dalton

**ARC provided in exchange for honest review**

This was a great book from start to finish. Once you start reading you will not be able to put it down. It picks up right where Twisted Asphalt left off (highly recommend reading it first). Espina "Thorne" was a EMT and aspiring model who was scarred after a accident and then devastated when she lost her sister so soon after. She spends her days when she's not working wallowing in grief and solitude. Dalton "Apollo" a newly patched member of the SixGun Outlaw MC is accused of a crime he didn't commit and in order to still be at work and on house arrest the Pres. decides to play matchmaker by throwing Apollo and Thorne together. The chemistry is explosive and the banter between the pair is sometimes downright sizzling. Apollo makes Thorne see that true beauty lies within you regardless of outward appearances. Secrets are exposed in this raw and gritty read and the ending BLEW ME AWAY, I'm definitely in love with this series and so can't wait for what's next.

OK so I have read the prior book in this series so was familiar with the characters already, which really helps with this book and let's you in on some of the back story in play in this book also.
I loved Apollo's interaction with Thorn and was pleased that they had known each other for a while prior to them having sex.
I love that Thorn stands up for herself and can pack her own punch and is not a simpering mess.
I will mention that there are a few minor editing issues nothing that ruins the book overall otherwise I would have marked down on my review they are tiny in comparison to an original story, a strong cast of characters and some kick ass scenes in the book, there are parts that make you cry, laugh and gasp there are only a few sex scenes in the book, what are there are well written but read this book because you want a great read not to get your rocks off!
An excellent read

So good. I'm VERY interested to see where Romeo's story goes, but... This one was about Thorne and Apollo and might I say it was a wonderful story?!?! I shall! HAHA!

Honestly, everything about Dalton "Apollo" Kilpatrick oozes sexy alpha. He's the epitome of HOT. Just, well now I'm gushing, yes? He's truly awesome though. And Thorne, I love her. She's a little "not herself" until Apollo "straightens" her out.

After Thorne loses her sister, she has no family left. She's mad, she's scarred and not happy. Who can blame her though? Going through so much in such a short time frame, is bound to mess with someone's head.

If she could just learn to trust again, she would be great. Also... letting go of some of her anger on Dalton's ex?? TOTALLY necessary to purge the angst!

LOVE this story! Beyond impressed! GIVE ME MORE BLUE!! NOW!! I mean, please, please give us more ;) <3 That ending!!!!!!!!

I was so excited when I got this book on my Kindle as an advanced Copy.

Scarred Asphalt begins right where Twisted left off. When Blue starts her books you are immediatly thrown right in and left flipping page after page wnating and needing more and more.. And man does Blue deliver.

thorne and Apollo are literally thrown together. Thorne has build a hard shell around her emotions as well as her heart. Apollo being a man and alpha to the core is determined to break through her shell.

After living through the tragedy Throne has shes scared and is left broken. During this time Apollo is attentive to her and ends up being exactly what she needs!! They have some pretty EPIC and panty melting scenes.

But will Apollo completely break through Thorne's shell and save her from herelf and her insecurities.

*I received this book in exchange for an honest review!

WOW! Blue Remy has done it again! Scarred Asphalt is brilliantly written. I have been waiting a long time for this book and it's well worth the wait!
Thorne has been through hell and back, now she has to learn to move on, which is very difficult when all you see is the scars that ruined your career and no longer have a sister.
Apollo has been wrongly accused of a crime and is under house arrest. Seeing how his home is further away from his job, he is sentenced to stay with Thorne.

I really enjoyed this book except the ending. I wanted to throw my kindle at the wall. I will be waiting impatiently for the third book in this series!

4 1/2 stars!

I have waited a long time to read this, and it was so much better than I could have imagined. I love the uniqueness and realness this series brings forth, the characters are very well developed and you can't help but love them, it has some hot sex, grit, angst, suspense, and violence that shows the true lives of the MC. I love how the author pulls you into the story right from the start, makes you feel as though you are a part of their lives, and creates a story that is captivating on so many levels that it will stay with you long after the last word. This is definitely one of my favorite MC series!
The only reasons why I gave this 4 1/2 stars instead of 5 was there were a few times where it was difficult to determine whose POV's the story was being told in, the editing was good, but there were still quite a few small errors(but not enough to take away from the story), but the worst was the huge cliffhanger at the end! I absolutely hate them, even when necessary, but especially the magnitude of this one. It wouldn't be as bad if there wasn't months between the release of each book, but when there's such a long wait between them it makes it extremely difficult to remember everything that was going on in the last book without having to read it again before starting the new book. I can only hope that the next book will be out very soon!
Honestly, if I didn't love this series as much as I do, I don't know if I would continue to wait for the next one. This is not your typical MC series, it has an awesome set of characters and the amazing storylines, and because of how close to reality these stories are, it's definitely worth the wait. I would suggest that you read these in order to get the full impact of the story and it's characters. You won't be disappointed.
I strongly recommend this book and series to those who love a truly great MC series!
