I. Can't. Stand. Toxic. Relationships.
STOP IT GAHD SOMEBODY
Pag-usapan muna natin 'yung ★★ na binigay ko (good side). Pero deep down, kung 'di lang dahil kay sir Marco, 1 star lang talaga sa'kin 'to.
***alam ko ring may warning sa umpisa ang author at pinaalalahanan dapat open-minded ang reader bago basahin but... this ain't it chief***
First few chaps.
Nagustuhan ko pa yung ikot ng storya for 2 reasons:
1.) Sin is an anti-hero & she loves breaking the rules. Dark 'yung character niya tapos hindi pilit 'yung pagiging ‘sinful’ niya. Ito ang mga gusto kong atake ng mga authors pagdating sa mga anti-heros. BUT! Read ♣
2.) Sir Marco
Halfway through the book.
Medyo hindi na ako natutuwa.
♣ Gusto ko rin may development. Hindi 'yung forever siyang nasa conflict. At kung may improvement man, sis, makikita mo siya throughout the whole story. KASO HINDI. Nakakafrustrate siya, mga bakla! Sa bandang dulo nangyari lahat. Nakakaoverwhelm. Ayaw ko sa lahat 'yung may ginawang kagagahan 'yung bida tapos ilang chapters na lang natitira para solusyonan, ugh. I was like, ‘Wtf? Pa'no ka pa babawi nito?’
3/4 of the book.
KSHDKSLHAKDL HATEST PART KO 'TO
I hated it so much I skipped to the last chapter from chap 43. Naramdaman ko na kasi 'yung pagthrob ng veins sa sintido ko. Nakakastress ampota. Baka sabihin ng iba, “Gano'n kasi 'yung point nung story, ang ipakita ang consequential life ng bida. Chill. 'Di siya perfect. Kaya nga NAGPATUKSO ang title in the first place.”
I get your reason. Pero seriously AFTER 43 FUCKING CHAPTERS, naguguluhan pa rin siya kung sino gusto niyang landiin? WTF mageending na kailangan na ng solid stand point ni Sin! 'Di ko na kayang magdaan sa susunod na chapters dahil alam kong mastress lang ako, e nastress na nga ako bandang kalagitnaan pa lang ng storya. Please lang, tumatakas po tayo sa stress kaya tayo nagbabasa. (Not if you're the type to feed stress. Balakayojan.)
Skipped to the last chapter.
It was a good decision to jump right at it cause lo and behold, BUNTIS SI SINTEYA AT HINDI SI MARCO ANG AMA. //bites an apple// ANG AMA? SI VANE LANG NAMAN. //grinds the apple at the nearest rough surface// SI VANE? AYUN DI TALAGA SILA STEP SIBLINGS THEY'RE ACTUALLY FUCKING BROTHER & SISTER //throws the apple at the gun before it shoots my head//
My brain was all over the fucking wall. Masyado atang fan ng GoT ang author, which is wala naman ako problema pero... again. Brains. Scattered. Dripping.
Usually kapag napasabog ng storya ang utak ko dahil sa plot twist, that's a good sign to give it more than 3 stars. Pero ito? Hooooooo boy. I've kind of smell something odd don pa lang sa part na may nagsabi na magkamukha sila. Ang ikinapuputok lang ng butsi ko ay yung fact na hindi man lang sinabi ng mga magulang nila yung totoo sa umpisa like hELlo it was unnecessary!!! Ang babaw ng dahilan kung bakit hindi pa binunyag lalo na nung kinukutuban na yung tatay na may namamagitan na sa magkapatid. Landslide talaga.
Overall.
Sana sa'kin na lang si Marco kaso masyado siyang mabait, we don't deserve him. Huhu. Protect this cinnamon roll, please. Siya lang ang nagsalba sa pagtapos ko ng story na 'to. Don pa lang e. Sinteya, sis, he's too nice for your taste. Kaso kasi hot, ayun. ( T ʖ̯ T)
'Di ko madescribe 'yung pain na naramdaman ko for Marco. Ugh.
This story has so much potential at first.
Maybe I'm being blinded by the pain for Marco. This is subjective, after all. My opinion. Gusto ko ng mga storyang tatatak sa akin. Kahit masakit pa 'yan. BASTA IN A GOOD WAY. Ito kasi, let's just say gusto ko na siya makalimutan bukas din.

Hard to rate and formulate a review that will give my thoughts justice. I'm still somewhat in shock by that plot twist. Will settle on 3 stars for now.
What I do wanna say here is that I wouldn't have minded if Sin didn't end up with anyone and that Marco needed more scenes. And if I didn't read the last few chapters first this would've frustrated me to no end.

I did enjoy reading this book. The flow and writing style keeps me hooked. I don't know what's with the plot but the characters are quite interesting. (READ VIA WATTPAD)
