Despite the danger, there are some definite pluses to undercover agent Zak Langston’s current alias as a mechanic slash low-life criminal. He doesn’t have to shave regularly or keep his hair military short. He gets to ride a damn fine Harley. And then there’s the sweet, sexy lady next door who likes to sneak peeks at his butt. Yeah, that was a major plus. Kaitlin Price has had the worst luck with men. As if her unearned reputation as a frigid tease isn’t enough, she also has to deal with her stepsister’s casual cruelty and taunting tales of sexual conquests she can only dream of. So Kaitlin has never been with a man. So what? So what ... So maybe the sexy bad boy next door would be willing to help her with that. Gunfire, gangsters and a kidnapping weren’t part of her Deflower Kaitlin plan. Good thing for her bad boy Zak is very, very good. At everything.

This is the first book in the Bad Boys in Trouble series.

Kaitlyn is the typical virginial clingy type and Zac the hot biker type. I thought this could be a great story of opposites attract plus…. a hot biker? Winner. Sadly, it didn’t live up to its promise.

I found Kaitlyn’s reason for getting laid absolutely lame. Also, why did she let her step sister know a most private thing, especially as they didn’t get on. Kaitlyn was a bit weak and some parts I found so cringe worthy, I read it with squinty eyes.

Zac wasn’t too bad and I kind of liked him although he was nothing original.

This book took me a lot to get into but I read it eventually to reach the HEA. Loved the blurb and the cover and these grabbed me. For me it needed a lot stripping out and to give Kaitlyn a bit of backbone. Overall it was OK but at most a three-star read for me unfortunately.

The premise for this romance is a bit absurd - Kaitlin wants to lose her virginity just so her stepsister will stop bugging her about it. When she sees Zak there is a strong physical attraction and she sets her sights on him being the one to relieve her of the 'burden.' Any woman looking to lose her virginity to one-up someone really isn't mature enough to be having sex or striving for a relationship.

It turns out Zak isn't who he seems to be. Rather than the bad boy biker mechanic he portrays, he is actually an undercover operative for a private organization that works to bring criminals to justice.

Taking advantage of coincidences and relying heavily on the steam factor, this story doesn't create any significant depth to the characters' relationship. It does have an HEA, so readers looking for that happy ending will be satisfied.

***THIS BOOK WAS PROVIDED BY THE PUBLISHER/AUTHOR IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW**

Biker by Fiona Roarke is a red-hot read you cannot miss. I fell in love with "bad boy" Biker Zak immediately.

If I have any issue with the story, it's Kaitlin. She's an inexperienced young woman who has always been timid and allowed everyone to walk all over her. So why, suddenly, does she have backbone enough to follow our hero to a shady bar?

Beyond that single issue, I loved it. Every hot wild minute of it. And Zak's inner turmoil about his feelings for Kaitlin felt spot-on.

I give it 4 stars.

I obtained this free e-book from Amazon and I am voluntarily writing a review. Kaitlyn is an accountant for the town's library even though she never goes to work in the book. Zac is the hot bad boy biker that just moved in next door that is actually working undercover for a private agency that takes out the bad guys. Kaitlyn's character is disgustingly clingy, insecure, and needy. I do not know why Zac's character does not kick her to the curb. This book was a total dud and a waste of my time with so many good TBR books waiting for me to read. Do your self a favor and skip this one.

Biker is the first book of Bad Boys in Big Trouble series. I didn't have high hopes for this book, so I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.

“You make me forget myself.”

“You make me so crazy that I’m always going to want more.”

Our heroine is not only single and can cook but she's also a virgin. Kaitlin knows her mean stepsister is coming to visit soon, so she wants to get rid of her V- card. When she was younger she wanted to save herself for someone special before waking up to the reality. She has eyes on her bad boy neighbor. Instead of giving up when Zac ignores her-- she decides to follow him to a bar.

Kaitlin's whole family sounds awful. I mean if she has to stand Brooke treats her just, so she can have some kind of family. Kaitlin even describes her as tolerated enemy. No wonder Kaitlin has such a low self-esteem.

Zac finds Kaitlin attractive but he's not planning on staying in town for long, so he's trying to ignore his attraction for his neighbor. He has work to do and dating Kaitlin would just complicate things. Zac would've turned her down if he'd known she's a virgin.

All in all this book hooked me in but the romance was kind of lacking? I didn't find Kaitlin's reason to finally have sex as a good one and Zac didn't want to start anything with her for awhile. He just wanted to pretend that they're i a relationship now that the bikers thought she was his girlfriend. Also I think everything happened way too fast after Zac finally revealed some things.

This book is a quirky and entertaining beginning to a new series. I 'purchased' it for free from Amazon and almost didn't finish it because of the repetition in chapter one. It's almost like the chapter was too short, so the author went back and restated everything at least two more times. But the writing in chapter two forward was cleaner and flowed more smoothly.
Kaitlin Price is a bookkeeper for the local school district and works from home. Her favorite pastime has become watching her new neighbor dismount his Harley when he arrives home from work each day. She has been trying to get up the nerve to meet him when her mean girl stepsister calls to tell her she'll be arriving the next day for a visit. That lights a fire under Kaitlyn to meet and bed her neighbor, immediately removing the v card status that Brooke always torments her about. But when Kaitlyn arrives on Zak Langston's doorstep with muffins in hand, he rushes past her on his way out. Annoyed and desperate, she decides to follow him to the biker bar she's sure he's headed to. Walking through the bar's door, however, she realizes the magnitude of the mistake she's made by coming there. Her only hope of getting home alive is to locate Zak in the crowd of men who are all leers and hands. But is her bad boy neighbor the salvation she wants him to be, or destruction set in motion by her own naivety?

Zak’s neighbor is a peeping tom. Her name is Kaitlin, and she’s a blushing virgin. After gathering the courage to ask him to deflower her, she tumbles headfirst into his complicated bad boy lifestyle. Unbeknownst to her, he’s actually an undercover agent and not the criminal all his sneaky undertakings seem to imply.

Zak is fine. I don’t have anything to say about him. He’s just not very memorable. Kaitlin is much the same, but she’s notably clingy. Very, very clingy. She loves him within the first 48 hours of them having sex. Also, everything she says about her sister is negative — I get that she’s an asshole, but I mean, chill out. Despite all that, Zak constantly describes her as “adorable,” so I guess shoot your shot.

Their romance is kinda tame, but both partners are very eager to get it on. They have sex most of the time they’re together. Kaitlin is forever worried about Zak and their future and blah blah blah, while Zak is worried about busting criminals and Kaitlin finding out and blah blah blah. They’re two little love birds, right?

I’m not keeping this on my shelf because it kinda bored me. But… this is for someone who’s into very very light bad boy romances. Read at your own discretion.

So I have read book three first in this series and now back to book one. These books can be read out of order, but be aware that there are some spoilers to be had it you go back. For example, Zak and Kaitlin in book three has an update on them. But don't get me wrong it is well worth the going back to the start and reading about their story and getting all the juicy details. :) Zak is off onto another undercover assignment for The Organization, he is move to a small town, work as a mechanic and setup a buy with a guy that a coworker can get him in with. No problem, get it down and move on to the next case or at least that is what Zak thinks until he meets his neighbor Kaitlin. The mission goes to hell in a hand basket because not only is she pulled into the mission, Zak needs to retain his cover from both the guy he is to meet and his cronies and Kaitlin. This is a well written, quick and easy read that will leave you wondering what is up for the next Langston brother. Hint - there are five of these hunky men that need to find their HEA, I cannot wait.

This should have been a four star read but I found it a bit tedious I hate it when a book has too many pages of unnecessary information which doesn't relate too much to the story line and ends up being something that you skip through, the only thing that saved it so I finished it. Was it's an MC and I love MC books read some bad ones read some fantastic ones this got better as the book progressed
So much so it ended up being a great all round read and got me hooked and wanting to know where the story was going. Would I recommend this book to anyone probably not. My honest opinion is the author needs to go back in and re do some of it, like I stated it had too much unnecessary baaggage.
I loves me an exciting, surprising and steamy romance book with an action twist!!! so will read the second book to see if it's improved.

A story about a guy (NOT a biker, just happened to ride a bike) who works for "The Organization" to catch "bad guys", and a girl, who is just literally TSTL. Said girl spends a good portion of the book staring at his ass, while also bemoaning the fact that her bitch step sister is going to, yet again, be cruel to her regarding her status as a virgin.

The overall tone felt like something one of the Bronte sisters would have written...when they were 12, had never written so much as a grocery list previously, and were attempting to combine language from a gothic romance with themes of Cinderella's cruel step-sisters, while simultaneously attempting to squish in some espionage and erotica.

I'm very confused over the 2/3/4/5 stars reviews. Did we read the same book?

Biker's story has to do with an undercover agent and his virgin neighbour who was constanly tortured by her stepsister for having her virginity yet.....
Believe me when i say that ive never met in a book such a needy heroine,i mean after two weeks of "butt surveillance" she decides to talk to him he left her on the porch and she follows him???(say what??) and after that she wants him to promise her that he will return to her.I lost my appetite when she practically begged him to take her virginity...whyyyyyyyy?
I did not have a problem with the story that's why i finished the book but the heroine was a no-no
Two stars....

Not what it seems

I really wanted to give this 4 stars, but too often and especially within the first few pages I wondered if a kid wrote this. Good guys are going to do what they want to get the bad guys in an undercover sting. Really? Surprisingly, the bulk of the story was well written. Those segments just took away from the overall quality. Great cover, proofreading not bad, no cliffhanger and you get a happy ending. There were a few points that weren't wrapped up which could have been.

A great story and looks like a great series about five sexy undercover agents . This story is about undercover agaent Zak Langston and Kaitlin Price. Kaitlin has had the worst luck with men. As if her unearned reputation as a frigid tease isn’t enough, she also has to deal with her stepsister’s casual cruelty and taunting tales of sexual conquests she can only dream of. So Kaitlin has never been with a man. So what? So maybe the sexy bad boy next door would be willing to help her with that.

Great start to a series. Kaitlin, shy virgin intimidated by her stepsister choses neighbor to loose her virginity by her next door neighbor, Zac. She follows him to biker club then realizees her mistake as soon as she enters. Who knew the v-card giveaway could be such an adventure? Zac undercover, intrigued by Kaitlin, didn't realize how fortuitous their budding relationship was. Fun read. lots of humor, drama, adventure, intrigue and twists and turns. Great character development. Great theme. Well done! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

An undercover agent and the lovely sexy virgin next door... Fate had it that the night she decides to put operation Deflower Kaitlin in place is the same night Zak meets with dangerous criminals. They see her and to protect her, Zak declares her his woman - something he so fervently wishes is true but cannot since he is undercover and might leave at anytime.
A great book with action and romance, danger and seductions, burdensome families and loyal ones, steamy scenes and sweet ones!

Spoilers

Zak and Kaitlin talk for the first time Thursday night and get married Sunday morning. That's too unbelievable, and my favorite trope is love at first sight (because I married mine 28 years ago).

Even suspending that, the action wasn't exciting and the plot twists weren't shocking. Maybe if we'd had more of the preceding 2 weeks to get to know Zak, the bad guys, and even Kaitlin, the suspense would've built better.

Stand alone HEA, with hints of further books to come.

Contains sex scenes, swear words, and violence (shootings, assault, abduction).

Nice surprise

I picked this book at random from my library. This is one probably sent to me for free from an authors news letter but I loved it. It didn't take forever to snag my interest and there actually was a decent storyline. I kinda got lost at the end scene when the plot was wrapping up but nothing that would bring down the rating any. It was probably my fault, I maybe missed something somewhere. So all in all, a definite recommend.

Zak and Kaitlin

This romance is hilarious! Kaitlin wants to be deflowered and has decided that Zak is the one to do it. Unbeknownst to Kaitlin charcOal is an undercover agent and just happens to be her next door neighbor. The results are quite interesting. This novel has action, adventure, romance, suspense, and a plot that will keep the reader's attention. The characters are very well written. Great 👍 read!

Loved reading this. Zak & Kaitlin were amazing! Kaitlin started off as shy, insecure and intimidating especially towards her sister. But spending time with Zak made her step out of her shell and take a stand against not only her sister but Zak. Zak is super alpha and just wants to protect her and tries every which way to exclude her from his undercover work but to know avail **sighs** lot of action to read about so definitely give Biker a read 😉

This book pulled you in from the beginning and kept pulling you in, I hated having to stop I was afraid that I was gong to miss something. I am so glad that he finally realized his feelings for her and married her. True love can happen any where with any one and that happened her. I am wondering what happened to her sister? I will be reading this book over again, as well as the other's.

Hold on Tight for the Ride of Your life

If you would like to if you like to live your life vicariously with a bad biker boy, you found the right read. ...and even better, he turns out to be a good guy, and an even better lover. I was caught from the very beginning, couldn't put it down, until I finished with a heartfelt sigh!

Didn’t keep my intrest

I knew within the first few chapters I was going to have to push myself through this book. I don’t was right. The male character was a god. The girl? A simpering fool, that in real life he’d never give the time of day too. She had no backbone. Anyways it was ok. This book didn’t spark a fire in me.
