Of all of CD Reiss' stories, this series is probably my favorite. I love Antonio the most of all her men and I always love a good Mafia saga. I have reviewed all three books in separate posts, so I giving you a snippet here of my review of Spin, book one in the Complete Corruption series. This entire series was a 5 star read for me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Spin is the story of Teresa Drazen and Antonio Spinelli and runs congruent to the time of SOS. Teresa, fresh off a break up meets the gorgeous Mafia lawyer and from there sparks fly. Their relationship is extremely intense and highly sexual…..think super sexy bad boy in a suit meets fiery confident redhead and there you have these two. Their passion is unbridled and their secrecy makes it so much more forbidden. CD is one of the best erotic scene writers to me…..the depth at which she takes the reader to makes it more than a “one-handed” read, she makes the reader breathless, she makes the reader sweat, she makes the reader feel passion just by reading words on a page and where she takes us in Spin is so electrifyingly hot, you will mark these scenes to be revisited another time.

Another thing I loved about Spin is the character of Teresa, she is educated, in her thirties, mature and confident. She has a great job, her own money, a sassy car and she knows where she wants to go. Maybe not sure how she wants to get there, but for sure she knows she wants Antonio by her side. And Antonio isn’t just a pretty face…he is extremely sure of himself and knows his place is within the “family”. His life is based on trust and loyalty and for reasons I won’t go into, Teresa Drazen might not be the smartest person for him to land in bed with.
“…You’re like mainlining life. I want it. I need it. I don’t care what I have to do to earn your trust, I’ll do it.”
There is so much more to this story than I am going to give you here. I don’t want to spoil one moment of the amazing book for you. For all of you SOS fans, you will love Spin. You will see CD Reiss has way more up her sleeve than just Jonathon & Monica’s story…..and you, like I, will be waiting for book two with bated breath. You nailed this one CD….I absolutely loved it!

Pledge opened. What a trip this whole series was!! The writing style of Christine Reiss is flawless.
Theresa and Antonio’s story was impeccably mapped out. This book shows us how far two persons from a different world are prepared to go for true love, how many sacrifices they are willing to make, and how far they would derail from their own moral compass just to make sure they never lose that love. Sometimes love is unconventional and it breaks all the rules and blurs all the lines.
While the story remains action-packed from beginning to end, this is ultimately a beautiful heart-warming love story capable of surviving against all odds. C.D Reiss delivered once more a truly un-puttable down and well-rounded story that made me laugh, cry, swoon and tingle all over. I loved it, loved every minute of it. And did I mention that it is HOT as hell…?

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up enjoying this series. When I started reading Spin, I wanted to learn more and more about Antonio. I was happy to get more of him in Rule, but I still didn't get enough. I WANT MORE!! Unlike most of the people who read these books, I couldn't stand Theresa. She drove me absolutely nuts. She made no sense and as a grown woman, she needed to make sense to me. However, my attention was hooked by Antonio and he wasn't letting go. He was so smooth and fine and his lifestyle was exhilarating! I honestly couldn't get enough of this refreshing drink of water. I haven't read much from C.D. Reiss, but if this series is any indication of her work, I'll definitely be making sure her books make it to my reading list.

Stop what you are doing right now. Right this second. You need to buy this book. CD Reiss is known for writing exceptional erotica. Not smut. Not classless porn in word form. But pure effing poetic, rock hard & pounding erotica. The story of Theresa & Antonio is one of my all-time favorite reads of, well, FOREVER.
Two people from completely different worlds collide in this heart-stopping romance. A woman who is all class and refinement and the punk-mobster come together in this epic trilogy. What starts of as a simple story of a woman falling for the bad-boy turns into suspense as everything around them comes crashing down.
I read this story as it was originally released, having the wait between books – the dying from not knowing what was going to happen next. Would their love survive or would it implode? Would Antonio be allowed to go straight, would they survive attempting to cut all ties from the mob? Now you don’t have to wait. Now you read the whole thing. All at once. Maybe twice in a row, because you are seriously not going to be able to stop yourself from thinking about this book.
This book was an experience. You felt the power behind the words, it caused your pulse to throb, your knees to weaken and OMG the tears. I bawled. I cried so much during the second book because of how scared I was and I didn’t think I could survive what fate had in store for in them in the end. My emotions were all over the place and I loved every second of it.
Now let me explain how hot the sex is in this book. It’s not porn. It’s beautiful. It’s rough and gritty – it’s commanding and possessive. The power struggle between these two in and out of bed was orgasm inducing.
If you read one book this year. This needs to be the book you read. You will not regret it.

What cost this book stars:
Some areas were a bit disjointed, especially towards the end.
The push/pull, on/off between the MC's happened way to many times.
Areas that were a lot about nothing.
Interesting. I liked it a lot.
Both MC's are strong personalities.
Great sex scenes.
The story flows well most of the time.
You feel the connection between the MC's from the beginning and it burns hotter and wilder as the story continues.
I didn't like the way it ended. It was one of those disjointed areas I mentioned above. I understand this is one of those serials that continue for 3 or so books. But, would it kill the author to at least give us either a 'HFN' or an 'to be continued' ending that made a little more sense? I know she was trying for a suspenseful ending, but it just seemed jumbled and forced. It lacked the flow it needed to be more convincing.
Mostly, I enjoyed the story. I will be reading the rest of her 'Song of Corruption' serial. (I refuse to call these types of books a series.)
There is a lot of passion here. Not just in the adult scenes that are truly 🔥Melt Your Panties Hot🔥.
Both mc's, Theresa & Antonio, on their own, are passionate characters. Theresa seems to try to keep herself contained. So much so, it's like she has put who & what she really is and feels on ice. Antonio ignites her fire and makes her burn.
Antonio is very hot blooded and quick to temper. He really needs to get control of himself.
As you can see, I have very mixed feelings on this story.
So, I am going to keep any other thoughts I have on it until I have read the next book. 📖

It is like reading a train wreck. Heroine behaving irrationally and self destructively. Their love affair hot and blistering, but with very little basis. Hero and heroine hardly had any properly conversations. Hero kept breaking up with Heroine, and Heroine did all the chasing, trying to get the hero back.
There are plenty of dirty dirty sex act, but without heat and steam, and no chemistry at all.
Nah! this book isnt for me...

From beginning to end you will love/hate Antonio and absolutely want him with Theresa. The fire between them is almost as dangerous as the life he lives. So many breath holding, heart-stopping moments! If a ladylike girl and this hard dangerous man can make you think of happily ever after then, you are on the right path.
His love changes her in ways he never wanted for her. Her love makes him want things he never thought he could have. The shocking surprises will make them both have to rethink everything.
I felt the passion and all of the intense moments of this book. There were times it scared me so much I had to put the book down and grab a breath or two. I love C.D. Reiss and her work. She can rip you apart with her words and paste you back together. But you are never the same afterward.
The Drazen's are now among my favorite families.

Corruption is one of my favourite Mafia series with Spin being one of my first CD Reiss stories I discovered and boy it was good. If you haven’t been corrupted yet by this amazing series, don’t be put off by the new crowd of characters mentioned within the first few chapters. It wasn’t long before I realised my need to note names and connections was a little over the top. Among the 20 characters mentioned in the early chapters there was only the one man I needed to pay heed to, Antonio 'Spin' Spinelli and a lady by the name of Theresa Drazan.
Corruption consists of three books, Spin, Ruin and Rule. In a perfect world, I’d have my reviews tucked away and ready to share but as luck would have it, I have a few scant notes, including each and every one of the books were rated 5 Stars! To give you an idea of the impact the books had on me, I’ll share the snippets I found:
Spin - Finished this at 1:15 am because I couldn't stop reading. I wrote in my early morning thoughts about including one of the many highlights I captured, instead I've decided to bask in the afterglow of all that is Spin and 'sigh', he was good, very good ;)
Ruin – The comments became briefer: Not stopping...heading straight to Rule, Book 3 because my rating of 5 stars speaks volumes.
Rule - Wow, why did I wait so long to finish this series?
This is the quickest review I've put together and there's a reason for the hastiness, the Corruption Series is available now as a complete series and all three books are bundled together for less than a dollar! And from what I understand it’s going to go up to full price soon.

This is the first CD Reiss book that I have read, and by all means, will not be my last! I read this as a complete compilation of three books ( Spin, Ruin and Rule) and am I ever glad that I didn't have to wait in between to get the whole story! This whole story is well developed and yes there are lots of dirty and intense sex scenes, but there is so much more than that going on! The fight to be with each other, the criminal element, Theresa struggling to find out just how she fits into Antonio's world and he in her's!
"I must have been confusing for Theresa. I had to appreciate that. I was reluctant to expose her to the life but, at the same time, drew her in. I worshipped her virtue while destroying it. I murdered men even as I feared God’s justice."
CD Reiss lays down a solid foundation for an in-depth story with so many twists and turns I wasn't sure if I was coming or going?! My mind was constantly spinning and trying to figure out what in the hell is going to happen next?! I love the fact that there is such an intense build up of the relationship between Antonio and Theresa. Antonio is so confident and doesn't take no for an answer; all the while knowing that this relationship could be no good for either one of them. He puts the brakes on their relationship many times, to keep her from danger, to keep himself from danger, but finds himself drawn back to her every time! There is something about her that just won't let him walk away!
Theresa, while smart and confident in her career, has been left a little jaded from a past relationship that ended in infidelity. Daniel Brower...the cheating ex-fiancé running for mayor in LA. Theresa is still confused as to what to do about Daniel, until Antonio enters the picture and has her flustered, panting and wet just thinking about him! He makes her want to be bad and not so by the book, putting her in touch with her darker side.
“He was different. When he touched me—” “He touched you?” “Just my wrist. But it was like sex. I swear I’ve never felt anything like that.”
The sex scenes were intense, raw and powerful.
“You’re not understanding your place, Contessa.” He whipped my pants off. In the split second before he grabbed me again, I scuttled to my feet and backed up. “My place? It’s next to you.” “It’s under me.” He came for me. I slapped him again, hard, the force of my body behind it, but it didn’t stop him that time. He took me by the arms and threw me on the couch like a rag doll. I lay there with my legs splayed, my elbows under me, looking up at him with a clenched jaw as he undid his pants."
You could feel the intensity and lust radiating off the screen or pages, which ever medium you choose to read! Make no mistake you will feel the intensity!
With cringe worthy lines such as:
"And he was gone. I still had the sting of his spunk in the back of my throat."
While crude, it only added to scene, pulling you further into their dark and depraved world.
I LOVED every twist and turn of the book and found it to be emotionally overpowering! With all that these two have been through it was hard not to feel every emotion possible! I love books that take you on that journey! I highly recommend this to any one who is into the Mafia, likes some intrigue and likes to be kept guessing as to what happens next! Oh ya and dirty sex scenes that make you feel the need for a fresh pair of panties!!

Must read series
Spin
I absolutely love this book. I am so into Antonio, hello Italian yum. I love this book and I can't wait for more. I love the whole mafia story. I love all CD Reiss books and again I was not disappointed. the sex was hot, the story was hot. I can't get enough of the Drazens either.. Amazing Must Read book

love,love this story.. I love the way CD writes this story and the flow of the story I couldn't get enough.. Give me more Capo and Theresa. I can't put my kindle down at all. when they are together it just sucks you and I just want to enjoy the ride.. I love the whole mob story and I can't wait for more. Another brilliant story by CD.
Rule
Gonna miss Capo
I couldn't put this book down. The writing is so amazing and drawls you in. I can't get enough of Theresa and Capo. When they are together you can feel what they are feeling and going through every time you read. I was shocked by some events that happened. But in a good way. I don't like a book to be predictable and Rule wasn't. Theresa and Capo were made for each other. It is sad to see this series end but it ended perfectly

Boring.
I couldn't finish. What a poor story, the story line was premised on a great idea but somehow it didn't translate well. The dialogue was atrocious, it was about "getting fucked" ... "fuck me"... and all that rubbish. I didn't buy into the connection and the hero treated the girl soo bad. There was bare respect between them; there's so much talk about the girl being a heiress which was not backed up with actual showings of wealth. There's talks about the guy being a mafia member but even that was not convincing or really shown.
If you want a real mafia book pls read "Carter Reed"! Now that's "book scarface"! I stopped this book at 37% and that's skipping from 30% and I had to abandon the book when at that 37% there were no signs of improvement.

Mafia and a lot of romance
First thing first , this is a long trilogy. The first two books went by fast as and had a ton of action. The last book I struggled and skimmed. There is a lot of sex but by the third book I was over it.
The third book just had too much drama with Tina entering. It's a lot of angst and the ending was good but I didn't feel closure. I felt too many balls got juggled at once and some let loose.
Just my personal opinion.

Can I just say... I love a good mafia story! I'm not talkin about a super in depth look at the ins and outs of mafia life. By rather the heart and the reason that it beats behind a man in that life. This series was intense so good. Spin is fantastic and dark but his heart is beautiful and you see it and feel it as you read. I'll even admit I enjoyed his capo. Seriously good read. Can't wait to read more

I am a sucker for a good Mafia book and this one hit the spot for me. It had everything a good Mafia book needs, for me at least. A tough, Alpha Capo (Antonio "Spin" Spinnelli) and a headstrong leading lady (Theresa Drazen) who isn't afraid to stand up to her man. The action in the book was great and, oh my, the sexy times were OFF THE CHARTS!!
Great read....now I need to finish Fiona & Jonathan's stories. Looking forward to reading Margie's story next month.

The writing was so bad. I could barely follow the story because I was so busy trying to figure out what the author meant.
