Abby’s best friend had set her up on a date at a new restaurant in the city she has never been to before. She got lost and was late. When she finally arrived, her blind date was gone. Instead of leaving, she starts chatting up the server Katie and invites her to have dinner with her after her shift was over. The two women have a good time together talking and they exchanged numbers to meet again later in the week. Throughout the weeks after their first meeting, Abby’s feelings for her new friend start to change into something more than just friendly. Abby also finds out that her new friend is a lesbian and from the way Abby catches Katie checking her out, she wonders if Katie feels something more as well. When Katie makes her intentions clear, Abby is left with a decision to make. Abby is not ready to make any decisions, until Katie kissed her. Then the answer was already revealed for her. She could no longer deny the way she felt, no matter how wrong it may have been to the rest of the world. Abby was in love and finally ready to go to the next level with Katie. But are they ready for what comes next?
Not impressed. Too predictable and generic. Characters are underdeveloped and inconsistent. They seem crass and insensitive as opposed to being loving and romantic, as I was expecting them to be.
