I'm basically skim reading these books for Bellarke moments at this point.

This continues to be the campy soap opera / shitty AU fanfic version of the show.
Let us itemise my grievances:
→ Clarke is more of a damsel in distress, to the extent of literally having to be carried back to camp in Bellamy's arms (when, you know who he did that for in-show? FINN). Which could be fine in a character, except that we have this pre-established version of her in the show -- I cannot help but think of the episode I Am Become Death, where she is literally
→ Bellamy throws some ridiculous temper tantrums, turning on Clarke at the drop of a hat -- which I could accept because it's a pretty big thing, but then, more egregiously, he immediately forgives her the next time they're in a scene together, to the extent of them . This is a perpetual annoyance, that characters are always pulling complete temperamental 180s on each other and flipping between HATRED!! and LOVE!! and there is zero consistency. There is zero pacing. Their emotions are all over the place and there are no gradual segues (again, the opposite of the show with its gradual development).
→ Octavia remains missing for most of the book, which is a bummer. This wouldn't necessarily have been a problem in other series, but in a series where you have so few fleshed-out characters, her absence is noticeable.
→ There is one intriguing undercurrent of a new storyline (Kendall), and nothing is done with it. GUESS I GOTTA WAIT FOR BOOK THREE?
→ Glass remains unbelievably dull. Again, she and Luke fight and he completely chucks her out of his life one moment, only to immediately return to being smooshy in their next scene. I can't. She's also so completely unnecessary to the plot. You can sum up her entire storyline in this book as moving from Place A to Place B, and getting a ton of people killed in the process.
→ The flashbacks were intriguing/welcomed in the first book because they gave me further insight into the characters I liked, but now they just feel repetitive and forced, and I'm tiring of them.
→ Wells remains a complete pestilence on everything.
→ Wells getting a ship is a crime to humanity. He's the fucking devil, why is he still being portrayed as a sympathetic romantic hero?
→ The most ludicrous twist:
→ Another ludicrous twist:
→ I started off more forgiving of the Colony's worldbuilding in the first book, but now this whole emphasis on the class divide is starting to grind on my nerves because it makes no sense. I maintain that you cannot have a Hunger Games-esque rich 'Capitol' society in this sort of setting; a declining space station does not fit well to ideas of decadence and privilege. I don't buy that mankind would divide themselves so arbitrarily in this situation. We're a terrible species and will oppress each other always, but a tin can in space is literally the one place where I imagine socialism would spring up and people would work hard because they simply cannot afford to fritter about. (The show does well in skirting away from the 'class divide' issue.)
→ Ships moving way too quickly hahahahaha what is pacing
→ 'The Forsakening' hahahahaha
→ The only three good/interesting things about this book:
1. Sasha quizzing Wells about how colonists were selected for the space stations, and when he spouts the usual propaganda about their having come from various allied nations, her going: "Then why does everyone on the Colony speak English?" dun dun DUNNN. (Although like, K.A. Applegate already did this sort of thing with Remnants, soooo maybe I should just go reread that superior sci-fi series instead...)
2. The aforementioned expedition.
3. The Earthborn explaining the incident that occurred a year ago. I got a little choked up over a small event involving UNNAMED PEOPLE WE DON'T EVEN KNOW. It actually got me in my emotions~ much more than anything involving, you know, any of our POV characters.
→ Who cares about survival when you can just go on romantic field trips???? Sasha's entire 'captivity' is absurd because they repeatedly untie her and let her run in front of them through the woods where she could easily escape, all because she asked nicely, "Can I show you something?" and then takes them on show-and-tell excursions. No. It's dumb. This book is dumb.
→ But it has Bellarke and that is its redeeming quality, even when they're being dumb.
... And yet, I'm still going to read this damn series as long as they keep getting published, because my loyalty to the show trumps everything (and I'm still fascinated by it all, like watching a trainwreck I can't look away from).

Me ha encantado. En el primer libro Los 100 vemos como en la Tierra ya no se puede vivir y desde el espacio envían a cien delincuentes a ver si la radiación hace imposible la vida o no. La cosa es, que en el libro anterior Octavia desaparece y Bellamy, siendo el hermano protector desde siempre, se empeña en buscarla con la ayuda de Clarke. En el mismo tiempo en el campo de los cien llegados reciben ataques de algo que nunca esperaban, otros humanos que llevan tiempo viviendo en la tierra. A partir de allí empieza la acción y no puedo decir nada más por qué haré spoiler pero omg me ha encantado. No sé, creo que el libro está genial lo único que tengo miedo de leer el tercer y último libro ya que quedan algunos asuntos muy abiertos en este libro y espero que Kass Morgan no los solucione en cuatro o cinco páginas por que los últimos tres capítulos han sido un fuerte plot twist que no esperaba.

Love the books! Love the Bellarke combo. I love the way Bellamy looks at Clarke on the show - I so wish they'd follow the book series more closely. Clarke is also less selfish in the books, too. She doesn't let people get bombed and killed to save herself. Clarke's character just changes in the breeze on the show... One minute she's saving people, next minute shes willing to sacrifice whoever. It's just annoying. Books are so much better!

Here we are with round #2 of The 100. I still haven’t watched any of the television series, but I did discover that I will indeed sell myself out and read the next book in a series if I’m offered the chance to do so for free. I’m such a cheap date : (
The world building from Book 1 is complete (and by complete I mean the “new world” is getting close to being on the dunzo list) and our pilgrims are settling in to life in the Hills of Virginny. Most importantly, though, people are making out.
Like seriously making out.
You’d think with only 100 original colonists there would be a problem of finding so much strange to lock lips with, but these kids are proving there’s always someone kissable. Especially in a crisis. Missing sister? You should probably make out with someone.
Friend just took an arrow through the throat? You know what would help ease your pain? A solid make-out session.
You betrayed your bestie/boyfriend/family/whoever before you came to Earth? Who cares! You know what the world needs? More kissing!!!!
You might all be dying of radiation poisoning? I know what’ll cure that!
What else should I have expected when it was revealed the “theme” song for the past bazillion centuries has been Belinda Carlisle’s Heaven is a Place on Earth?
“When you walk into the room
You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinnin' with the stars above
And you lift me up in a wave of love
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth ?
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth

I mean, this is so bad it’s somehow good.
Now, to the credit of the writers, tv producers, and whoever else is responsible for this series – I get that I’m not your target demographic. And while I don’t think I’ll ever end up getting on the old Hulu or Netflix in order to find previous episodes, I can see how the show could be super popular and I'll admit that the books do have a lot of action (and not just of the tongue variety). I assume this pony will be ridden long past its demise and the books will continue to be churned out at an inhuman pace (much like with The Vampire Diaries). To quote a television show I do watch religiously:
“Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in “Butte Fockers!” *sighs* Yeah, that’s right - “Butte Fockers.” As long as you keep paying to watch we’ll keep farting ‘em out."
So go ‘head Kass Morgan, go ‘head get down. Heck, I might even keep reading – and I can guar-an-tee I’d be tuning in to watch the show if your “100” looked a little something more like this:

Bellarke for the WIN!!!
Also, I can't say that this is really good or sth tbh... It's kind of a soap opera, nevertheless, a VERY entertaining one hahah!
The TV series is better, at least in my opinion, so I'd rather watch it than read (in case you haven't started reading yet).

Another beautiful 'the 100' story. Bellarke feels all over the place!!! And lots of surprises and plot twists. LOVED IT ♥

اولین چیزی که توی کل کتاب برام خیلی هیجان انگیز بود اینه که "بوسیدن لب" توی جلد 1 مجاز بود ولی توی این جلد به "نشان دادن علاقه" ارتقا یافت. فاز عشاق افلاطون طوری شد یهو

هنوزم فاز ممیزان اخلاقی رو درک نکردم. اصلا کی میگه چی رو به چی تبدیل کنید؟
اما خود کتاب
انتظار تحرک و چالش بیشتری داشتم. ولی ظاهرا کل داستان تم بشدت ملایمی داره. با اینکه یکم هیجان به اینور اونور داستان اضافه شد اما بازم تمرکز روی شخصیتها و روابطشون بود. نمی گم بده یا خوب. ولی متاسفانه وقتی سریالو دیده باشی برات سخته که همه چیو صفر کنی و بدون پیشداوری مثل بچه آدم بشینی و اینو به عنوان یه اثر منحصر به خودش بخونی. با این حال هنوزم برای خوندن جلدهای بعدی مشتاقم
یادتونه وقتی 2 سال پیش، کابل سقوط کرد و دوباره به دست طالبان افتاد، عکسها و فیلمهایی که از فرودگاه کابل همه جا دیده میشد چه حسی داشت! مردمی که توی اون فیلمها و عکسها بودن. همه وحشت زده، ناامید، امیدوار، منتظر، غمگین و ...
اینجا هم همه فهمیدن که اکسیژن سفینه داره تموم میشه و به زودی می میرن! چند هزار نفر هجوم می برن سمت عرشه سفینه های انتقال به زمین تا بتونن یه شانس حتی واهی برای زنده موندن به خودشون بدن. یه عده ای له میشن، یه عده ای کشته میشن، یه عده جا می مونن، یه عده سرنوشت شون رو می پذیرن، یکی هم ویولونشو برمیداره و یه گوشه میشینه به نواختن! و اینطوری خودشو برای لحظه های آخر زندگیش آماده میکنه

یه مشکلی برام پیش اومده اونم در مورد هیچی فرض کردن سیستم امنیتی و کنترل سفینه هست
اتاق کنترلی که برای یه گیت حیاتی و مهم سفینه تعبیه شده، هیچ نگهبان و دوربین نظارتی و در امنیتی و ورود برای اشخاص خاص و اینا نداره!!!! یکی از دخترای قصه ما خیلی راحت میره توی این اتاق که درش همینطوری به امون خدا بازه و یه کلید خیلی ساده رو فشار میده تا اون گیت خیلی مهم سفینه باز بشه و .... یکم عجیبه
یا اونجایی که همه توی قرنطینه و حفاظت هستن، بعد همون دختر قصه ما چندین بار از کانال تهویه رابط بین دو تا سفینه میره و میاد و هیشکی به هیشکی نیست. بعدم فقط به عقل این میرسه!!! یعنی فقط هاااااا!!!! اینم عجیبه
با همه این تواصیف هنوزم دوست دارم دو جلد بعدی رو بخونم

If you were waiting for Day 21 to bring forth the missing pieces—introduce a little spice into this relationship—then now’s the time to slowly back away, find the door, and bolt. Don’t look back. Save yourself.
If you’re a returning reader because The 100 (my angry review found here)enlightened you like no other then you will gobble this book up.
Day 21 mirrors The 100 in every aspect; vague mentions, mediocre language, consistent mediocrity, and lovely cardboard cutout characters. In essence, this dystopian tale is simplistic. It’s a light read; there’s no real politics to it.
Unfortunately for Day 21, I like my dystopias with a moral message (heck, I like my dystopias with any message—just give me a damn message). The only message I received was stay the hell away and trust your instincts. Reading Day 21 was an emotionally taxing journey, one that occurred in three cycles.
Nothing. Expect nothing, or at least, look forward to nothing. You normally go one of two ways with a sequel.
1. Blow the first out of the water and prove every critic wrong, banishing them with irrelevancy. I like this option; it gives me strength to see constructive criticism utilised at it’s best. It also shows development, growth.
2. Let me regress into the middle ages. I’ve contracted Second Book Syndrome. No! I shall not have character growth. Yes! I shall abandon my storyline in favour of lurveeeee. No! I do not care that you loved me and cherished me with fabulous expectations.
Well Day 21 defies even that. Hey, I’ll give it props for being rebellious. You see, Day 21 decided that it liked the formula it had going—the “I’m really better on tv where you can potato your brain but here I make you have to actually think while you read”. If that’s rebellion then I’ll rather take tradition, please and thank you.
How do I reiterate this? This reads like a television show. It practices the fine art of TELLING over SHOWING. There is no tension. There is no suspense. There are no creative analogies/metaphors/moral moments of awakening.
So in Part One, I was angry, to say the least. Angry and disappointed and just, all in all, ready to dice this to pieces.
Here’s where I had the epiphany. Would it not make me a fool should I take this book to parts, once again, if it is the same book, repackaged? The same elements were there; the crux of the plot remained; the same characters reacted the same way, neither growing nor regressing.
Yes the writing is fluid, but also yes, it is plain. I want my life to be jazzed up a tad. A little creativity with the writing will almost always pull a book out of the deep end. But this book, it likes drowning. So the question remains: how does one criticise a book in need of the same criticisms? My answer at the time, she doesn’t. She leaves a little message of disappointment, refers the reader onto the first review and she leaves it at that.
If only she didn’t read on.
And then we’re full circle. I’m back where I began, writing the long review I set out to, desperately trying to avoid the chunk of the breakdown. But it’s inevitable. And I’ve got opinions that I would like to share (but never impose. You may definitely not agree with me and that is fine)
So where, pray tell, did it all go wrong?
Here, have some vague Cataclysm and an equally enigmatic nuclear winter.
I like to think I’m quite perceptive. I’ve pieced together that this was a war of some kind. Followed by a cataclysmic event. Something about nuclear weapons dropping. But I had to work it all out, by myself.
How do you write a dystopia? You world-build. 101—mandatory for all those looking to dabble in the dystopia (or what the heck, mandatory for all those dabbling in anything fantasy, projective, imaginative). Use that imagination. Show us this world you’ve conjured. Don’t drop hints and make me beg you.
When I first made my notes I was even a good, studious girl, marking down my exclamative disappointment in the lack of explanations. Every mention of the Cataclysm was accompanied by a Yes! but why?
That can only go on for so long. Soon I had growth. The lovely respectable English transformed into primitive vulgar ”fuck”’s and definite “oh course”’s. Even anger can only brew for so long. Exasperation likes to take a turn.
Or better yet, what was this Cataclysm that y’all all had to survive?

I’ve grown, what I believe is, quite the repertoire of knowledge on this period. What aches me is this book, and pretty much all YA, is that it unconsciously (at least I hope it’s not conscious) undergoes the favourite Romantic element of transcendental love.
Everyone is paired with someone. God forbid your post-apocolypitc journey on a somewhat decrepit Earth is done without someone there to love, comfort and make out with you. Forget death.

If you’ve fallen deeply in love with this series then you’re in for another ride. If you were simply curious as to whether or not this series grows, then you’re better off not condemning yourself any further.
I’ll overuse my favourite 1984 quote, terribly relevant to life it is, yet again:

If you’re a returning reader because The 100 (my angry review found here)enlightened you like no other then you will gobble this book up.
Day 21 mirrors The 100 in every aspect; vague mentions, mediocre language, consistent mediocrity, and lovely cardboard cutout characters. In essence, this dystopian tale is simplistic. It’s a light read; there’s no real politics to it.
Unfortunately for Day 21, I like my dystopias with a moral message (heck, I like my dystopias with any message—just give me a damn message). The only message I received was stay the hell away and trust your instincts. Reading Day 21 was an emotionally taxing journey, one that occurred in three cycles.
Part One: What does one expect from a book that is likely to wither the concept of hope?
Nothing. Expect nothing, or at least, look forward to nothing. You normally go one of two ways with a sequel.
1. Blow the first out of the water and prove every critic wrong, banishing them with irrelevancy. I like this option; it gives me strength to see constructive criticism utilised at it’s best. It also shows development, growth.
2. Let me regress into the middle ages. I’ve contracted Second Book Syndrome. No! I shall not have character growth. Yes! I shall abandon my storyline in favour of lurveeeee. No! I do not care that you loved me and cherished me with fabulous expectations.
Well Day 21 defies even that. Hey, I’ll give it props for being rebellious. You see, Day 21 decided that it liked the formula it had going—the “I’m really better on tv where you can potato your brain but here I make you have to actually think while you read”. If that’s rebellion then I’ll rather take tradition, please and thank you.
How do I reiterate this? This reads like a television show. It practices the fine art of TELLING over SHOWING. There is no tension. There is no suspense. There are no creative analogies/metaphors/moral moments of awakening.
So in Part One, I was angry, to say the least. Angry and disappointed and just, all in all, ready to dice this to pieces.
Part Two: But then it was a hopeless cause. Why would I dissect the same book, over and over again?
Here’s where I had the epiphany. Would it not make me a fool should I take this book to parts, once again, if it is the same book, repackaged? The same elements were there; the crux of the plot remained; the same characters reacted the same way, neither growing nor regressing.
Yes the writing is fluid, but also yes, it is plain. I want my life to be jazzed up a tad. A little creativity with the writing will almost always pull a book out of the deep end. But this book, it likes drowning. So the question remains: how does one criticise a book in need of the same criticisms? My answer at the time, she doesn’t. She leaves a little message of disappointment, refers the reader onto the first review and she leaves it at that.
If only she didn’t read on.
Part Three: In which I damn myself to yet another long, exasperated review.
And then we’re full circle. I’m back where I began, writing the long review I set out to, desperately trying to avoid the chunk of the breakdown. But it’s inevitable. And I’ve got opinions that I would like to share (but never impose. You may definitely not agree with me and that is fine)
So where, pray tell, did it all go wrong?
Here, have some vague Cataclysm and an equally enigmatic nuclear winter.
I like to think I’m quite perceptive. I’ve pieced together that this was a war of some kind. Followed by a cataclysmic event. Something about nuclear weapons dropping. But I had to work it all out, by myself.
How do you write a dystopia? You world-build. 101—mandatory for all those looking to dabble in the dystopia (or what the heck, mandatory for all those dabbling in anything fantasy, projective, imaginative). Use that imagination. Show us this world you’ve conjured. Don’t drop hints and make me beg you.
When I first made my notes I was even a good, studious girl, marking down my exclamative disappointment in the lack of explanations. Every mention of the Cataclysm was accompanied by a Yes! but why?
That can only go on for so long. Soon I had growth. The lovely respectable English transformed into primitive vulgar ”fuck”’s and definite “oh course”’s. Even anger can only brew for so long. Exasperation likes to take a turn.
“Who are they? How did they survive the Cataclysm?…”
Or better yet, what was this Cataclysm that y’all all had to survive?

I think I enjoyed this book more than the first, simply because there were some twists and shockers. I certainly didn't expect it. I am also ashamed to admit I was comparing it, again, to the tv show. I kept wondering where the reapers were, the acid fog? Is there even someone named Monty or Jasper? I'm assuming there's no Finn either? Anyways..
Book Two of The Hundred, Day 21!
I will add that the major thing I love about this, is Bellarke. I actually started this series simply because the show is one of my favorites and Clarke and Bellamy have had no other actions other than a hug. So yes, I was thrilled that Bellamy carried Clarke all the way back to camp after being stung, and waited by her side the whole time. I definitely hated his tantrum he threw when he found out Clarke's secret. He didn't even think of what It meant to Clarke for telling him. How much it haunted her every time she closed her eyes.
The Earthbounds were kind of surprising in this book. They weren't trying to kill the hundred, at least one faction of them. Apparently, the colony had shipped a couple people down to earth to test the radiation, and they met the earthbounds, and didn't go well. That lead for a small fraction of the earthbound's to go their own way, finding a way to get revenge when the hundred's ship landing.
I guess i'm okay with the whole Wells and Sasha thing,at least he has stopped obsessing over Clarke, it was beginning to get crazy in book one, like oh my god take a hint!!
She seems like a trustworthy person, even after being captured and almost killed like two times by the newcomers. They're not exactly savages as the show makes them out to be, they were the ones who had been living in Mount Weather for the 250 years, and only the past 50 years had they been living among the grounds of earth.
I still don't enjoy Glass's POVs, But it is interesting to see what's going on up on the ship, and how crazy it gets when there's no order, I kind of hate Camille though, she seems like a total bitch even though I understand she cared about Carter, or maybe she wanted just really wanted Luke!?
That shocking ending though. Bellamy and Wells' new... bond? I did NOT see that one coming. Nice twist Kass Morgan!
With all that being said, I'm excited to read The Homecoming, hopefully Clarke has her reunion, and with lots of more Bellarke moments, they give me the feels!Bob Morley, the guy who plays Bellamy on the show, is so attractive ugh! THANK YOU FOR EXISTING!

It was an okay sci Fi read but nothing special. But have decided to finish the series as my library has them and it's quite interesting

The story keeps going, picking up from where the first book ended, the second book focuses on shifting relationships between the characters amid events that prepare us for the arrival of the colonists, who do so by the end of the last page... and so let there be book number three.
Overall, still an entertaining read..

I just love bellarke.
Day 21 is the second book in The 100 series. This was a second time of rereading this book and I still really enjoyed it. I didn't like the little hints of a love triangle happening but I did love that Bellamy and Clarke worked things out. Secrets came out in the open and I get that it hurt at first.. but it helped them move on.
..and while that's super cryptic.. I'm going to leave it like that. I love Wells, Bellamy, and Clarke..but like as a trio of friends. I love Bellamy and Clark together though. Ever since the show, I've shipped the crap out of them. I'm still patiently waiting for it to happen.. but at least I have the books where it's a thing. Small victories my friend.
Out of all the character though, I just didn't like Glass. There's something about her and for some reason she just kind of annoyed me this time around. Well, I'm sure she annoyed me the first time around too.. but ugh, she just needs to grow or change or something!
Then there's that ending, UGH, I hate twists/cliffhangers at the end. I now need to dive into the third book and I don't have it with me!! I'm slightly freaking out and I really need to get it.

They had been sent to Earth as living test subjects, the first people to set foot on the planet in three hundred years. But they were mistaken.
Some people had never left.
This book is...no. Just no. Everything I enjoyed about book one was the glaring problem in book two. It's like everything amplified until I couldn't stand it anymore.
It started up somewhat like the other, but this time, they were already on Earth. I liked this. It made me happy that they were somewhat used to the land and were able to just move forward instead of that stagnant fear that kept them from doing too much in book one. But OMG I just could. Not. Do. The Relationship. Drama in this one. Like...Clarke-You JUST met this dude. The title of this book is literally Day 21 and you LOVE him??? Oh, and he can just say whatever he wants to you...right? Then, because it was said in a moment of passionate fury, it's okay. Hmmm. Riiiiiight. I lost all my respect for Clarke. All of it.
We aren't born for ourselves alone.
So, that makes it official: The only original characters I like are Wells and Glass. And the only story I cared about was Wells's. He is still my favorite character and really the only reason I carried on.
Wells knew that even the greatest leaders make mistakes.
Now, that isn't to say I won't read book three or say that the television series wouldn't be perfect with all the drama, but as a book? No. My mind has whiplash from the lukewarm to boiling to freezing feelings. And my biggest problem with the WHOLE book? The blame. My God, the blame. Bellamy, that douche (I REALLY edited that-on a sidenote), blames EVERYONE at least once. Could he be any whinier?? Sheesh. And Clarke-Wah. Call the WAHmbulance. Just wow. I can't even.
So. Wow. I can't believe how angry I began to get near the end of the book. How can the first book's beautiful portrayal of love lost and betrayal and hope be turned into this convoluted mess of teen angst and soap opera drama? There were so many good things that were touched on: eerie, creepy ideas that will make a good sell in the next book, Wells's new interest (LOVE HER), and even the idea that everyone will likely be reunited in book three.....but even that creepy storyline I mentioned didn't overshadow all the fail for the rest of the book. So, aside from the fact that I think all this would be awesome on TV and that I'll likely seek out book three eventually, there really were no remnants from book one that were held sacred in this one. So....that's it. That's my spiel...
OH! And I mean, look at that cover!! How awesome is that?? How can a book cover be so cool and the book...not. Ugh.

خب وقایع داستان تازه توی این جلد کم کم جالب تر میشه (جلد اول که فقط یه معرفی بود رسما) و انگار قراره تو جلد سومش بهتر هم بشه! اما فعلا قرار نیست برم سراغش🥲 چون میدونم ریدینگ اسلامپ میشم دوباره.

I have to admit, the show is much better. I find myself comparing the book to the show constantly as I read the book. First, let me complain, I mean talk, about the characters.
Clarke-I have to say Clarke is not as brave as she should be. She blames everyone for everything they did and then when she admits to her mistakes(finally) everyone flips out at her. *coughBellamycough*
Wells-Wells has definitely improved for the first book. He still feels sorry himself most of the time, but at least he doesn't think Clarke is secretly in love with him, anymore.
Bellamy-Definitely the most annoying character. He gets pissed at everyone....especially Clarke. Like, I understand that is sister is taken but yelling at everyone who looks you won't get you many allies.
Glass-Why is she in this book, anyway? She's pointless. I understand without her we'd have no idea what was going on the Ark but....still.
Second, we have the romances.
Bellarke-I'm still confused with their relationship. They hate each other, they kiss, they yell, they hug, they almost have sex, one of them blows up when the other tells a secret, one of them runs away, they find each other, they make up, and they make out.
Salls (Sasha and Wells)-I think they'd make a good couple. That's all I really have to say. Oh, and I think Lincoln and Octavia's relationship might be somewhat based off Sasha and Well's.
Gluke (Glass and Luke)-They have a similar relationship to Bellarke's except it's pointless. They fight constantly...except Luke is the one who yells and runs away, while Glass cries.

These books are amazing and I want to watch the TV series.
*SPOILERS AHEAD!*
Character Breakdown:
Clarke-Okay, at least she's made up her mind with a guy now. Do I wish she was with Wells? Yes, but I can't complain about her inability to pick a guy anymore, so points for that! Yay!
Bellamy- Still hate you man. You care about Clarke, so I can tolerate you, but I still hate you. You are so mean to everyone and I'm sick of it!
Wells-At least he found Sasha! Clarke has ruined everything for this guy, and doesn't even end up with him. Do you know how mad that made me? Wells is an amazing guy and definitely deserved better from his life on earth.
Glass- Still my favorite! She's amazing and such a good person, I can't even. Her and Luke's relationship is like a roller coaster, I swear. They have amazing moments, then everything goes downhill. But, then everything gets better! How I love them! 😍😍😍
Luke-I don't think I've ever read or seen a guy care and love about a girl as much as him. (Well, maybe Maxon from The Selection, but other than them, no one else.) Luke has such a big heart and sometimes needs to cope with things, like figuring out that Glass was the reason his scum bag of a best friend was killed. (It was to save Luke, and his best friend was such a horrible person) But, he did come back to her in the end!
Sasha- She's a queen y'all! She is exactly what Wells needs in life and we needed her in the The 100! She's an earthling, which means she was born on earth and has lived their her whole life.
Book Content:
Plot-On earth, the 100 fight against the bad group of earthlings for their life. Clarke and Bellamy set off to find where the good people live so they can try to find Octavia. Wells tries to keep everyone calm back at camp. On the ship, they're running out of oxygen. Glass and Luke spend every waking moment together, trying to enjoy the time they have left. What no one knows is that there is a much greater threat looming on the horizon, one that no one can escape.
Violence- Lots. Mentions of someone being hung and words carved into their feet. Lots of fist fights and attacks from the earthlings.
Cussing- Lots of that, and suggestive conversations.
Sexual Stuff- Lots of kissing (I don't count that, but other people do so, oh well!) and it's passionate at some points. Glass and Luke have sex a few times, it doesn't go to far into detail though. Clarke and Bellamy talk about if either have done "it" before, and both say no. They almost do it at one point, but Clarke stops them. By the end of the book though, they've done it.
Romance- Everyone has such great chemistry. The one with the best chemistry was Glass and Luke by far. They care so deeply about each other and it's amazing! Sasha and Wells are pretty cute to!

Character Breakdown:
Clarke-Okay, at least she's made up her mind with a guy now. Do I wish she was with Wells? Yes, but I can't complain about her inability to pick a guy anymore, so points for that! Yay!
Bellamy- Still hate you man. You care about Clarke, so I can tolerate you, but I still hate you. You are so mean to everyone and I'm sick of it!
Wells-At least he found Sasha! Clarke has ruined everything for this guy, and doesn't even end up with him. Do you know how mad that made me? Wells is an amazing guy and definitely deserved better from his life on earth.
Glass- Still my favorite! She's amazing and such a good person, I can't even. Her and Luke's relationship is like a roller coaster, I swear. They have amazing moments, then everything goes downhill. But, then everything gets better! How I love them! 😍😍😍
Luke-I don't think I've ever read or seen a guy care and love about a girl as much as him. (Well, maybe Maxon from The Selection, but other than them, no one else.) Luke has such a big heart and sometimes needs to cope with things, like figuring out that Glass was the reason his scum bag of a best friend was killed. (It was to save Luke, and his best friend was such a horrible person) But, he did come back to her in the end!
Sasha- She's a queen y'all! She is exactly what Wells needs in life and we needed her in the The 100! She's an earthling, which means she was born on earth and has lived their her whole life.
Book Content:
Plot-On earth, the 100 fight against the bad group of earthlings for their life. Clarke and Bellamy set off to find where the good people live so they can try to find Octavia. Wells tries to keep everyone calm back at camp. On the ship, they're running out of oxygen. Glass and Luke spend every waking moment together, trying to enjoy the time they have left. What no one knows is that there is a much greater threat looming on the horizon, one that no one can escape.
Violence- Lots. Mentions of someone being hung and words carved into their feet. Lots of fist fights and attacks from the earthlings.
Cussing- Lots of that, and suggestive conversations.
Sexual Stuff- Lots of kissing (I don't count that, but other people do so, oh well!) and it's passionate at some points. Glass and Luke have sex a few times, it doesn't go to far into detail though. Okay, I really, REALLY enjoyed this one. I love all of the main characters (especially Wells and Glass), it's also really great that it's so different from the TV show (at first I thought that it'll be a problem, but I totally changed my mind). It's not perfect, it has some flaws, but basically, I don't care. I loved that it was short, quick to read, and not overly complicated, with romance (which was at some points too much, but hey, nothing's perfect). Can't wait to see what will happen in the next one AAAAND *how could I forget* to say a few things about Bellarke?! They are so freaking cute, and they are amazing (if only they would finally get together in the freaking show, they would be perfect). That's all

Even better than the last one! This book has more action, more drama, and it's so addictive. In this book, Kass Morgan shows us a little more of the past of some characters, like the Bellamy's past, which is (for me) the best part of the book and it's maybe the main thing that made me enjoy this book so much (ok, the Bellamy and Clarke's scenes were my favorites as well).
There are a lot of differences and changes in this book's adaptation to the television, and I watched the tv show before knowning that the books exist, so I'm always gonna love it more than the books, but the books are also amazing, mainly "Day 21". I like it, mostly because we see that some character's past are connected some how, which is amazing and it's also something hard to write, because it requires a lot of imagination and creativity! Kass Morgan's writing is addictive, amazing, and she became one of my favorite authors of fantasy!

The 100 eindigde met een enorme cliff hanger, dus ik was dan ook zeer blij dat ik het vervolg – Day 21 – al in huis had. De 100 jeugddelinquenten die vanaf het ruimteschip naar de aarde werden gestuurd om te onderzoeken of de aarde weer leefbaar is, zijn inmiddels 21 dagen op aarde. Ze zijn de eerste en enige mensen die sinds eeuwen voet zetten op aarde, of denken ze dat maar?
Ik kan niet anders dan positief zijn over dit boek. Ik heb van begin tot eind genoten van Day 21 en ik ben blij dat er eindelijk wat actie in het verhaal zit. Bovendien vind ik het interessant om de personages beter te leren kennen, alsook meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis van het ruimteschip. Tot nu toe het beste boek in de serie; hopelijk weet Homecoming deze stijgende lijn voort te zetten.

I am absolutely eating these books up, I love them. Maybe I’m a bit biased because of how much I used to love the show but who cares.
Again, the book is very different from the show that they feel like two completely different series. For me, the show got worse with each season, but so far both books have been great.
More and more secrets got revealed, some being predictable, while others I wouldn’t have guessed.
These books are also really easy to read which makes it more enjoyable.
I’m still so mad about Clarke and Bellamy’s relationship not being in the tv series. I truly don’t understand why they didn’t include that. They are perfect together. At least the actors are married in real life 🥲
Not to mention how they butchered well’s character. He literally died within the first season even though he’s one of the main characters.
I could go on and on about the differences but that’s why I’m separating the two and keeping them as completely different series or else I’ll go crazy.

من کتاب های پساآخرالزمانی زیادی خوندم و کلأ این سبک و زیرژانر علمی تخیلی رو دوست دارم
اما روز 21م از اون دست کتاب ها نیست
از اون دست کتاب های پرهیجان و کششی که بخواد میخکوبت کنه و مدام آدرنالین در تو ترشح کنه؛نه!
کتاب بیش از اون که درگیر چنین مسائلی باشه، که سال ها بعد از جنگ اتمیه
روی دو چیز متمرکزه:
بازگشت انسان به زمین و چیزی که باهاش روبرو میشه؛ این رویارویی اما کمتر از مسئله ی اصلی تر نمایان میشه
روابط بین آدم ها و این بار بین جوون هاست. جوون هایی که قراره پایه گذار نسل بشر در برهه ی جدیدی از زمان باشن. جذابیت داستان به نگاه متفاوت نویسنده است. به اینجا که روابط بین اونا رو به تصویر میکشه. به اینکه چقدر یک رابطه میتونه پایدار یا شکننده باشه. چطور این روابط روی هم اثر میذارن و چطور اشخاص مختلف رو به طرف مختلف به هم مرتبط میکنن
این اوج زیبایی این کتابه.

It took me a little bit longer to get into this one than the first book, but once I did HOLY CRAP. Lots of action, romance, and plot twists. Definitely a fun and exciting read...I loved it!
