In Ashley, North Dakota, the only thing bigger than the sky… are the possibilities for two people to fall in love.
The Navy SEAL cowboys baby was good, up until it fell on its face. I was unaware there were so many other short stories with this book and did not find any of the others remotely interesting. Glad it was a free book!
This is a collection of short stories. The first two are the main stories, but it comes with seven others. I found the first two stories to be good and they held my attention. I also liked the writing and the character. For short stories they both had decent plots and character development.
The other seven stories were all hit or miss. I could only make it through three of them because the others didn't hold my interest. The first story I read, "First Time With A. Cowboy" was just poorly written and bad. The characters annoyed me and the storyline was infuriating. In this day in age to see a girl give up a big part of her dream for a guy she just met is absurd.
The next story I read was called "The Duke of London's Baby." This is typical boy meets girl from bad side of the town, they get together, get pregnant, and he defies his parents by being her. The final story I could actually read is called, " To marry the prince of love the duke." This one was just okay. I found it absurd that this girl sleeps with one guy, lied about if, and then just gets engaged to another guy. This was just crazy to me and I had a hard time getting into the story because of it. Overall, a decent collection of short stories.
