Golly, what a fabulous read! I know it will be harder to find (cheap) copies of this one, but I hope you all go out and find it! Because I really cannot recommend it enough. I loved the characters, including our female protagonist--they are all so real. You know? And the plot moves along beautifully, with some twists at the end to boot. And the element of spiritualism? Absolutely exquisitely done. I could gush about this book all day! Please, please, find it!

I especially recommend this if you love D.E. Stevenson and/or books about Scotland and/or "house love" stories. I certainly do!
