4.5 star review of Hooked Up (Hooked Up #3) by Arianne Richmonde
This is the final book in the series and what a way to finish. This series must be read in order
I really enjoy Arianne Richmonde’s writing style and as with the previous books in this series, this one was well written and had my attention from start to finish.
Told from both POV’s, I was amazed by both Alexandre and Pearl and the lengths these two will go to get their happily ever after, even whilst they struggled with the lies and the outside influences who strive to tear them apart.
I was anxious to turn each page to see what was happening. Would it all be resolved? Can they survive the lies, the danger, the drama? You really need to read this book to find out. I can’t remember when I read a book that was such a rollercoaster of a ride.
I was riveted by the whole series and I highly recommend you add them to your TBR list.

Good storyline. Poor grammar and many typos.
I enjoyed the story but the books in this series need some serious editing. There is a lot of drama. The timeline has gaps. In this last book the male protagonist suddenly knew martial arts and was in the French Foreign Legion, but it hadn't been mentioned in book 1 or 2. Maybe a revision needs to happen.

The suspense continues. Pearl confronts Laura, questions Alessandra, and finds out that Sophie might just be sincere. Then there's all that info that nobody is supposed to know... but can she trust Alexandre? He can't seem to stay away from her, and she can't seem to say no to him. The author revs up the sexy suspense as Pearl and Alexandre combust together and fall apart.
How does Laura know so much about personal things that only two know? She is convincing, yet a bit scary. As Pearl tries to piece everything together, I feel her confusion, pain, and desire for things to work out. In this third book in the series, she is a bit bolder, a bit more confident and willing to confront, rather than running away as she did in book 2. I like how Pearl is becoming the woman she needs to be.
And just when it seems as if it will work out, Laura lands a bombshell announcement. Game-changer. And Pearl moves on. She has a secret and so does Alexandre. Wow! So much action in this story. Revenge. Confession.
What was impressive was that there was a serious, underlying theme that started with Alexandre's past, and Pearl has a past incident of her own. Both incidents are handled here in different, yet satisfying ways. It also answered some questions for me that I had wanted answered. This took this erotic, romantic suspense story to a deeper level for me.
Then there are some unexpected twists; one was the twist that almost stopped my breath when I read it originally in Belle Pearl (this is a re-telling of the complete Pearl series). It still got me, even though I knew what happened.
To me, book 3 was the best in the series because it encompassed the maturing of the love between Alexandre and Pearl, tied up loose ends, and had some surprising twists. This has erotic sex scenes.

This is the last book in the series, you have to read books one & two before this one or you will be lost.
This book was amazing! I loved how the author ended the story. All your questions will be answered in this book and so many things will be reveled. You couldn't ask for a better story. Your emotions will be like a roller coaster and some of them will feel real. The connection between the two characters is still strong and full of spark.
Alexandre has secrets that he has not yet to Pearl and he is afraid too. He wants Pearl in his life forever and knows that he must tell her and they can go from there. They have been through so much and their love keeps getting tested but they always end up back together, stronger than ever. Now, Alexandre will stop at nothing to make sure he has Pearl at his side.
Pearl has a secret that she hasn't told Alexandre about and not sure on how he will feel when all is reveled. She doesn't know how much more she can take and when she believes what others are telling her, she doesn't know which is true anymore. All she knows is she has never felt like she does for another man and then one that she truly wants, she believes it's over.
You still have the connection with the characters as you did in the previous books, but I believe the connection will be stronger in this one. The characters show how strong their love is when they face all the battles and struggles. Overall, a story that shows you what love is worth fighting for.
Great job to the author, I highly recommend the whole series.

Great ending to the story
I love the progression of this story and the plot twists used by the author. It was a page turner all the way to the end. Get all three and enjoy a great story! I’m definitely hooked on these!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!
Oh. My. Goodness! This is now the third time I have read this trilogy and I NEVER get tired of it!!! Alexander and Pearl are two lovers who are destined to be together and nothing and I DO MEAN NO THING will keep them from it!!! I loved every single page of their story. There is enough, but not too much of anything here. Arianne knows exactly the right amounts of everything necessary to make this story outstanding and she blew it out of the water. I would give this series 100/100 stars - - - if I could!

Unpredictable and amazing
This author has to be one of the best with unpredictability that I have ever read. Nothing seems forced or out of place but spot on even when it surprises you. You will laugh and cry but this series is worth it all.

The unknown
I found the twist and turns in the plot were unexpected. Each character faced his/her own trials. I would recommend this book to others.

This is the final dual perspective of the Hooked Up Series based on the Pearl Quintet.
Being familiar with the unfolding of Pearl, as I’m sure many of you are, Hooked Up #3 gives a more rich and enlightening perspective of how Alexandre and Pearl perceive and deal with themselves, each other and the insurmountable situations that continuously seem to come their way.
I felt as if I was living two realities intermixing in ways I could never imagine~~ one clearly remembering what went down in Pearl mixed with another giving two more in depth, exemplary convictions of two individuals fighting at the brink to save their relationship and facing outside oppositions.
It was like déjà vu again reading this story, but, it was also thrilling and heart wrenching to see two individuals that I’d invested so much in hitting a wall of doubt and despair while still carrying this this inner flame that points that they are meant to be together forever.

Hooked Up 3 picks up where book 2 left off. Pearl knew that the life she wanted with Alexandre was over because of his ex-fiancée who she thought was harmless. Alexandre on the other hand was determined to get her back at all costs and he knows what he has to do in order to get her back. Alexandre is determined to prove to Pearl how much he loves her and he hopes she still wants to be with him after he reveals his secrets. Pearl and Alexandre still have to deal with his ex-fiancée and put that to rest once and for all. There are still some obstacles that they will have to face in order to have the relationship that they both want.
I thought this a great end to this series. I loved seeing how Pearl and Alexandre fought for their relationship and how much love they had for each other. Alexandre was determined that Pearl was it for him and he was going to make her see that she was all that mattered to him. I will be definitely reading this series again in the very near future.

Hooked Up 3 starts with a bang as Pearl sees Alexandre disappear into Laura’s house, his old girlfriend, and never comes out. Can she enlist the help she needs to get Alexandre back? Of course, this is complicated by a different surprise for Pearl which nearly undoes her as she struggles with Alexandre out of her life.
Alexandre loves Pearl but needs her to trust his love. He’s tired of her games so does make her work to get him back but he never intends to stay away. I had tears reading this book its a emotional read secrets will be revealed as all the questions you needed answered are tied up in this book.
This story had me from page one of book one and this boom is told in duo POVs which may not be for everyone but i love duel POVs. Its lovely to see how far that Pearl and Alexandre will go for one and another and how they both want the happily ever after and craved with with each other.
The connection between Pearl and Alexandre just seems to grow with each book. Their love and passion just keeps getting stronger and hotter.
They have struggled with lies, outsiders all trying to come between them on the way to their HEA.

Five phenomenal stars for this book! It is such a great conclusion to this series. Both Alexandre and Pearl frustrated me to no end for the first part of this book. I kept asking myself, What are they thinking?? They had such fantastic chemistry from the first book, but it was like the trust was gone and the adults were acting kind of childish. Then, BAM! I was HOOKED!! I couldn't stop reading and if I didn't need my job so much I would have stayed awake reading about these two. So I took it to work and read during breaks and lunch. I wanted to know what happened next, even though I had read the original books. It was great to see things fall into place as they did. Another thing I can say is.....I would really love to see Daisy's story at some point! Thanks Arianne for this version of this HOT couple! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

OMG I can't even describe how amazing I thought this series was. I wasn't sure but with each one I got more and more hooked myself. I fell in love with the characters, the storyline kept me on my toes wondering how in the world they would ever get their happily ever after. My heart was riding an extreme roller coaster and this last one I literally felt my stomach jump to my throat. I about had a heart attack, no joke! You do not want to miss out on this series. I would go into more detail but I really, really don't want to give things away but know that the road to Alexandre and Pearl's happy ending is full of so many ups and down and a ton of detours. Just when you think they get there BAM you are hit from left field. PICK UP THIS BOOK TODAY!!!!

There were so many ups and downs that I had to wonder if Pearl and Alexandre were ever going to get their HEA. There was even a horrible moment near the end where I gasped and thought, ‘No way!!’.
Pearl and Alexandre are absolute soulmates. Alexandre’s love for and devotion to Pearl is so unwavering that I don’t know why she had any doubts about him at all - to the point that she almost loses him for good.
Overall, their story was thoroughly enjoyable - full of sexy times, true romance, and plenty of twists and turns in the plot to keep the reader on edge.

Holy moly! Arianne Richmonde writes with such panache that I felt as if I were a fly in the wall watching Alexandre and Pearl's life unfold between the pages. All the romance between the two lovebirds. Every squabble and events that produced such mistrust and anger and every page turn suspenseful piece of drama that ensued with the cast of characters. For the entire trilogy that cast of characters would have me laughing, crying, yelling in anger and swooning at times.
I'm not sure what this trilogy had more of; romance or suspense and mystery. Whatever you choose I am sure you will enjoy every moment of Hooked Up. I know I did!

Perfect way to end this series. When two people are meant to be they will do anything for each other. With Pearl & Alexandre their love has been tested over and over and nothing could come between them but some have tried. I couldn't stand Laura I was hoping someone would knock some sense into her lol. The love that Pearl & Alexandre have for each other, you can feel as u read there story. It was dicey at the end but was a perfect ending. Such an amazing and well written series.

Absolutely fantastic!! So many emotions flowing while I read this final part of Pearl and Alexandre's story. The brilliance of their love, that deep connection they share tugs at your heart. There is pain, there is fear, suspense, happiness and beauty. There were times when I was holding my breath, fighting hard against the tears that rolled down my cheeks. An amazing love that will capture you while you ride those emotions. Wonderful!! Now, I'd love to dig in to Elodie's story, see where her life takes her.

This last story in the trilogy is absolutely amazing. It is definitely an emotional rollercoaster. I will say it is very difficult reading with tears streaming down your face. This is definitely one of the most dramatic and suspenseful romances I have read. It is not just any romance that can also include murders, blackmail and the French Foreign Legion.
I highly recommend this whole series.

February 5, 2016Wow. This book had my heart racing. It was just going a mile a minute. You never knew what was going to happen. That Laura character, smh, she was something else. Loved the book. I just finished this last book of Alexandre and Pearl. This was a true hearts and flowers and sadness and miracles. Love conquers all and family is the only thing that matters. Alexandra explores this when a accident happens with his soulmate. Refreshing to have his pov, really made him a knight in shining armor
