It is a good book, well written concerning her emotions and her life. We learn quite a lot with the Islamic rules and laws. I found also a good description of the Lebanese war.

Lu rapidement dans le bus pour rentrer en Italie, ça m'a captivité mais c'est peut être car je n'avais rien d'autre à faire. C'est la biographie de Mouna Ayoub qui raconte de son enfance au Liban, à sa jeunesse à Paris et son marriage à Abu Dabi. C'est une milliardaire est elle est souvent déconnectée de la réalité mais c'est très intéressant de lire son témoignage en tant que femme au moyen orient qui s'est finalement émancipé de son mariage.
Cette lecture m'a donné envie d'en savoir plus sur l'histoire du Liban et son lien avec la France. Et je l'avoue cela donne aussi envie d'être financièrement indépendante.

Milliardaire libanaise, épouse un Saoudien, qui devient proche de la couronne. A des enfants. Aime tjrs son mari et les aime, ms lutte pr sa liberté. Esprit frondeur et indépendant. Finit par divorcer. Vit bcp aux USA. Ecrit pr ses enfants.
Intéressant, se lit bien. (Livre de Françoise).

Randomly found this book in a thrift store and I LOVED reading it. It was so honest and inspiring to hear her story, I think every woman could relate to her feelings at some point of her story. Also contained some history of the middle east which i didn't think i would enjoy as much as I did.
