Every issue I'm so excited when new names pop up. I've only really seen harper in the joker, in Punchline's mini story, so hopefully I'll learn more about her. The perfect role for Waller, and seeing big Barda made me smile as well. I don't know Kimiyo Hoshii yet, but it's always nice to see Asian characters.

I hope Batwoman returns to her lady and I also hope that her lady is still waiting for her at their home. I don’t want anything bad to my new OTP.

This was lovely. I really liked Wonder Woman in this one. The fact that she's not the big American hero, but was taking time to bury the villagers from the other side was lovely. I also like how damaged and broken Steve Trevor is (Such a difference to Lyle Wagner). The book also focused on my favourite Russian sisters. We got a lot of character development and back story for them. One of them it turns out was the illegitimate daughter of an English noble. (So in fact neither of them are actually Russian). There was a lot of sadness as they thought this was driving them further apart. The zombie soldiers were attacking. Aqua woman was the only one who remained light hearted, flirty and funny in the face of the tragedy but then fiercely protective of her boys at the end. Such a great series!

The story is fun. The graphics are in sync with the vintage look but with a contemporary twist. Marguerite Bennett delivers a good story. Marguerite Savage set the bar for the illustrators (half of them men in this sequence) and the vintage look is never too much.
I liked that all three stories of the original launch are moving along and that another one was added. I liked the whole women of WW2 angle being action heroes in every shape, shade and sides. I wait until I have a few episodes to read and sit and read all of them in one go. Then I wait again. But it's a good thing.

With "Enlisted" with are back with Batwoman and her leaving New York to fight. We get an adorable Batfa, a bittersweet goodbye and a cliffhanger welcome to the Bombshells division.

Kate and Maggie are back! Unfortunately Kate is the only one being enlisted by Amanda Waller into the Bombshells program, so Kate and Maggie spend one magical day together before Kate has to go off to save the world. The art for this sequence was SO BEAUTIFUL. The ending was fabulous and I love that Kate's handlers are all women of color! yay!!! And we get an introduction to SELINA WHO'S A WIDOWED ITALIAN COUNTESS IN THIS, BE STILL MY HEART.
