About the author

Colleen Nye is a Detroit based author that has gone from poetry to content writing, movie reviewing, press releases, short stories and everything in between. Loving the art of the full-length novel, she published her first in 2012, a romcom called When in Luck, formerly When in Maui, book one in The Celebrity Crush Trilogy. Since then, she's released several books in a variety of genres, including The Long Summer, Letters to Cora, books 2 & 3 of The Celebrity Crush Trilogy, as well as written the biography of Alonzo “Chacho” Gomez in his book From Pen To Page. She has also been featured in a number of anthologies.
Colleen has won several awards for her works, When In Luck was listed as a B&N bestselling book on Mother’s Day weekend in 2014. Letters To Cora, reached #1 best selling status on Amazon in 2020.

When she’s not working on her next novel, Colleen works as owner and one of the operators of Digital Quill Services, doing a variety of author services, including book formatting, covers, trailers and more.

I not only enjoyed writing my short story, and working with the other amazing authors, but also really enjoyed reading this book. I love that the stories all vary on content due to the different style of writing we all use. Colleen Nye brought the stories together into one hardcore, amazing book.

Some of the stories had me laughing, some on the edge of my seat, and others I'll just say they made me smile in a good way. There's action, adventure, love, death, and fights.

I am proud to be one of the authors, and I can't wait for the next anthology.
