Disappointed
This book was a bit of a let down to me. I don't like books that are really just chapters that end and you have to buy the next book. It's like someone took a whole book and divided into several sections and called those "books." No clear ending to each book and not even a cliffhanger.
It's a good thing this was the complete series and free for a limited time. It seemed like there were places in the storyline that just stretched out making the story drag. Too much angsty back and forth on again off again with lots 9f sex in between. This could have been just one really good book about a war veteran suffering from PTSD and learning to cope while falling in love with the single mom fighting with her ex for custody.

A great collection
This was a great series about a couple who couldn't be more different. A single mom, a Veteran playboy who is also a tattoo artist, and all of the complications between them. Can they find a way to be together? You'll have to read this to find out.
I would like to say that I believe that the bonus story at the end would've been a lot better if it had been at the beginning of the series instead. Especially since it's about his past, which doesn't make sense to read after the fact. JMO.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

Kat’s main priority is her son. She will do anything for him. Dealing with her ex is not pleasant but she’ll get through it. When an ex seal, now tattooist, Jace arrives it’s all the town can talk about. She tries to keep her distance but they start a friendship which grows to more.
Her ex doesn’t like this so uses the son against her. Then He is called back into Navy. What else could go wrong?!
I don’t feel like this built up and as such was dull. I didn’t really like either of the main characters

A M A Z I N G !!!!!
KB has done it again! I simply loved this series. I loved that it followed two people, instead of a different person with each book. I loved how their lives unfolded. I loved how she wrote about the effects of PTSD in a most respectable way. My husband was in Operations desert storm and shield and he came back a different person. I loved how she healed him with her love, the same way I healed my hubby with mine. I recommend this series 💗

Emotional Roller coaster
Great read that took me to all emotional places, happiness, sorrow and all the stops in between. Loved the characters and their stories. Jace is one hunky hero who has suffered much from his SEAL career. Kat is strong and fiercely independent and protective of her son, not relying on or asking for help. Jax is fun, cheeky and keeps everyone grounded. Loved this!

For the love of god.. I fell head over heels for this serious. The bad boy military man/ tattoo artist is a man any girl would dream about.. This story is one most can relate to where its the bad relationship, single mom, military family, or anything else. I can not say enough This serious is worth reading 5 times over at least.

Awesome mc and retired seal stories
The stories were well written the them throughout them steady. Great character descriptions . I enjoyed the easy flow I started reading them and couldn't put it down till they were all read. One terrible ex one sweet momma and a whole passel of troubles. In the end everything's good.

You can't judge a book (or man) by its cover
WOW, I don't know where to start. This is a sexy, hot military bad boy romance. I felt connected to the characters right away. This book will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. For the first half of the book, I was so pissed I could spit nails. But then it made me cry and laugh and it had a perfect ending.

A very good series
This was a very good series of books. The whole series is extremely well written with a very strong story line and a whole lot of emotion in it. I strongly recommend it to anyone who likes military romance.

This is a series where you need to read all five books in order. It was easy to follow along. The story is basically about Kat and the struggles she is faced after a divorce and raising her son Jax. Jace comes into town and turns her life around. Well written pulling you in from the start.

Even though it wasn't my type of book it was good... the only two things that bothered me was length, it could be shorter and I skimmed a bit, and at the very end additional scene with OW from the past was completely unnecesary and took another star from my rating...

Awesome Series
I liked that it showed the struggles on both sides. It was truly a heartfelt storyline that was believable.
My only critique is that the promised bonus Epilogue never was seen. I feel like I didn't get to read the end of the story. I'm in limbo...

It shows the stresses and strains of deployment on the family left behind. It deals with the devastation of PTSD and how it affects the victim and their family. KB Winters deals with the issues with honesty and tact. I totally enjoyed this set and would recommend it.
