Will Caitlyn Montgomery and Noah Randall be able to give first love a second chance?

Book 2 in the Queensbay Series, a small town romance novel series.
Love stories of love set in a small town? Then the Queensbay series is for you. In this small town romance series, love is in the air in Queensbay, a charming New England seaside town.
Noah Randall was Caitlyn Montgomery’s first love. But he left Queensbay ten years ago and broke her heart. And then when her beloved grandfather died amid scandal, Caitlyn left too, vowing never to return.

After a bitter break up and career set back in London, Caitlyn has returned to Queensbay to work for Maxwell Randall, an old family friend. So far, bit by bit, Caitlyn’s been rebuilding all she lost after her ex fiancé humiliated her …and tried to ruin her professional reputation.

But her past comes back to haunt her when Maxwell unexpectedly turns up dead. Not only does Caitlyn find her career in jeopardy but her heart is too, when Noah, Maxwell’s son, returns to Queensbay.

Once, Caitlyn was sure Noah was the one for her…but the tragedy of her grandfather’s suicide and Noah’s decision to leave town left her bereft…and determined never to trust him again.

Over the past decade, she’s managed to do her best to forget about Noah Randall. But now that’s he back in town and more charming than ever, and she can’t help wondering, what if? What if Noah really was the one?

The book was good, pretty predictable, but I enjoyed it. There was no suspense in who was framing Caitlyn, very predictable. I wish the author had included the characters from the first book, they were only mentioned twice. That would have made this book much more enjoyable for me. I am not expecting much more out of the rest of the series, but I will read them. I doubt I will read this author again.

A nice story, predictable, but good. The second book in the Queensbay series. Not as light and fluffy as the first one, a teeny bit of a suspense story, but quite obvious who done it. Over all, enjoyable.
