Star Wars: Obsession #1

Star Wars: Obsession (2004-2005) #1

Rate this book
While Anakin Skywalker enjoys a brief respite from the Clone Wars, and a reunion with his secret wife Padmé Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi embarks on a "personal" mission. Kenobi's first stop is a frontier town on the swamp world of Trigalis, where he fights a small army of bounty hunters, duels with a crime lord who has ties to Count Dooku, and obtains undercover help from fellow Jedi Aayla Secura. All that just to verify a rumor about an enemy that he can't forget. Obi-Wan is becoming obsessed, and he knows it. But the danger of flirting with the dark side is a risk he's willing take to save the person about whom he cares most in the galaxy.

Nice Start

What can I say? I’ve become a little nuts for Star Wars as of late. Mostly related to all things prequels and clone wars. I look forward to seeing where this story goes.

This was pretty fun! I will say if you're just getting into the Legends timeline of SW then this is not a great place to start. That being said I still think it's pretty great! My only complaint is that all 5 (6 isn't really necessary to understand the plot) parts aren't all in one volume since they're very short. Read them all in about an hour but it was a fun hour!

"I liked it." - 3 out of 5 star rating.

These are fun Obi + Ani, Clone Wars Era Star Wars comics.

In this one we get some Black Suns action that is very well done and apparently Assajj Ventress is a big underlying theme of this series as a whole.

Feels true to the Clone Wars Animated TV show for sure, just in comic book form with "better" artwork.
