This book details why the author believes in the virtues of bone broth. It was a worthwhile, short read. It is not a recipe book for soups. Deep inside the pages, one finds a few basic broth recipes. Those recipes could have been better presented with a few additional soup recipes. The author details various cooking times for different bones: fish, chicken and red meat. Ideas for daily intake, uses and storage were provided. Some sections of the book were slightly repetitive. Most, but not all, of the information appeared to be reasonably accurate. The broths are intended as a healthy dietary supplement that should be consumed in addition to a well-balanced diet. Without a doubt, the bone broth, when cooked as instructed, will yield gelatin and collagen into its broth water--both of which are lacking in modern diets. These vital ingredients help combat arthritis and some other ailments in older people. The broths can be used as a basis for soups, stews, sauces and as a beverage.
The benefits of chicken broth while fighting against colds and sinus were well explained.

Enjoyed the information. I learned a lot and tonight, I have put on my first bone broth to slowly cook for a couple of days in my crock pot.
