In a universe of infinity possibilities, can anyone be quick to dismiss what lurks at the edge of our vision and perception of reality? As a bonus, you will also read about the author’s own close encounter with Bigfoot!
Would definitely recommend this book to anyone not very familiar to the "cryptics" world. It will open your eyes to some of the world and N American's finest. To folks already deeply interested in the subject, it could be mundane. A most definite, easy reading book for the uninitiated though. And could also be a nice little summary of the main ones studied for the most part.
This has always been a fascinating subject matter to me and although the author doesn't dig deep into detail of every sighting and encounter, he does give enough to engnder curiosity in particular incidents. As a result I have highlighted many sections for further research once I land. Well worth a read when flying over The Alps.
Meet the Cryptids Most Reported Seen in North America
This is a rundown of the major cryptids and monsters reported in north America. If you are new to cryptozoology, this is a good primer. It introduces the various cryptid with a brief overview, details of the most well-known sightings and hoaxes if any. Determination is up to the reader as what to believe. Most of the cryptids I have heard of, but there were a few I had not. It concludes with the author's personal Bigfoot Sighting. This is a great short entertaining read. There are strange things in this world and knowledge is power.
A fun read for people interested in the out of the ordinary. Quick paced and very interesting. Author doesn't seem to take sides-just states the information and let's you decide.
This book was not the same old thing. Although I recognized almost all of the reported stories it seemed to have a different take. I found the personal Bigfoot sighting most interesting!
