What the heck?! I'm really tempted to bang these two's heads together. Shuusei, please just tell Aoi how you feel. She's "confessed" to you, and though at the time you told her you didn't feel the same, it's pretty obvious that you do! Ugh!! Please stop breaking my heart and tell her something, start treating her like you used to, hug her, touch her...just do something because she's struggling...
I’m glad only the first 10 volumes are available on Kindle Unlimited because I’m just about done with this series. Aoi and Shusei are so frustrating! Just when I thought it was going somewhere too.
3,75/5 Slightly better than the previous volume. During this book we get to see Aoi Chan dealing with her feelings toward sushei and wateru. In the beginning wateru goes to see if she woke up and they walk together to the festival. Sushei is there helping the 3 class and he is dress up as a rabbit. He needs to charm the ladies so they can win but he wants to stay backstage, however the other guys won’t allow that. He gets changed as a gardener and decides to help them. Aoi Chan is working as the snow girl and she is doing a great job and there are tons of costumer. She takes a break but her classmates want her back soon so they won’t lose the competition and the customers. Wateru is required to help a young lady who requested his company. This lady is sushei’s sister who saw him with Aoi before. She wants to be with wateru alone and thinks he is handsome and charming however he rejects her because there’s someone else he likes. He tries to convince her to try the menu they prepared and she realizes he is a good cooker and he’s serious about Aoi Chan. Wateru’s friends bring Aoi Chan and she meets sushei’s sister there. She wants to play a game and she wins. She gets to do whatever she wants and she decides Wateru and Aoi have to kiss and share a stick. Aoi gets nervous but wateru breaks the stick and his colleagues are unhappy because now sushei’s sister won’t spend her money there. Wateru goes to speak with her about sushei and about his feelings. He wants to know why he rejected Aoi Chan and the sister shares it with him. Later on we find out the 3 class lost the competition but sushei won the MVP award because he got a lot of clients and a lot of girls waited on line for him and they had to do a lottery so he could spend 10 minutes with them. Later on Aoi is walking with Wateru and sushei went to a restaurant with his friends. Wateru is seen by his 3 sisters. They want to know more about Aoi and they say they miss their brother and they are going shopping. They want him to visit them and live with them again but he knows it’s not the truth. Their parents send them a cheap souvenir from China. Wateru wants them to leave Aoi alone but they got her and threaten Wateru. In the end they go home and they get to talk. Wateru is a great cooker but he doesn’t want to do a career of it. He thinks it’s his passion and he doesn’t want to lose his hobby by working on it. The sisters show Aoi Chan an old album about Wateru during mid school. He was a rebel and people called him names because they feared him. They ask about their relationship and how they got together and who asked the other first. The sisters thought he gave up on girls but Aoi explains they aren’t together. They think it makes sense since Aoi seems popular and ask her if she’s a virgin and if she got her first kiss and if the guy French on her. She stays silent and they realizes she got it. Wateru tells them to leave her alone and to go upstairs so they can eat alone. He is worn out by his sisters and remembers why he wanted to live alone. Aoi thinks it’s really fun but he spent a lot of time not going home. He says he is happy because he didn’t get to hear about her first kiss. He asks about it and she confess she was forced by sushei’s brother but he told her it didn’t count and kissed her on the eyelid. Wateru is determined to make her forget about sushei and tries to kiss her and leaves her a hickey. After that Aoi realizes he is not a friend, he’s just a guy. She is still thinking about sushei and she gets a call from his ex. She hangs up and later on sushei apologizes about it. She thinks about how he is now with his ex and she blacks out. Sushei gets scared and he goes to the apartment. She doesn’t open the door but he got a key. She fainted and he puts her on the bed and makes dinner for her. He’s trying to make her a soup but he is not doing a good job and she is worried. In the end the food tastes good and they get to talk. Wateru calls and sushei decides to leave her. He’s glad Wateru is looking after her and he knows he will do a good job. He tells her to go to bed and to change since she’s sweating because she has a fever. She is happy they got to talk and that’s okay to her. Sushei leaves and wateru sees him leaving the apartment. Wateru went to a college campus tour. The next day they go together to a new supermarket and he asks about how she’s feeling after being sick. He asks if someone got to take care of her and she lies about it. Wateru wants them to have a date and he says he has a plan. He wants to go to see shooting stars. He has a motorcycle license and he is going to rent one. The shooting stars usually peak at midnight so he might attack. She’s okay with that. She doesn’t want to go to the cinema or to a park, she wants to see the stars. The shooting stars will happen from 2am to 6am and it will be cold. She has to wear some clothes. During that night Wateru wants to kiss her. He tells her that he knew about sushei visiting her while she was sick. She didn’t want to tell him but nothing happened. He is not sure about it and Aoi realizes she wants to kiss him. She wants to give him a try and they are about to kiss. She tries to kiss him but she ends up cryonf. Wateru believed he could Make her happier than him but it’s up to her to decide that. He’s glad they got to talk and she says she wants to love sushei still. Wateru knows why he rejected her feelings because her sister told him but it’s not up to him to share that with Aoi. It’s up to sushei. He is at a rental place with his ex, trying to help her with the renting and the key fee and he is so charming in the end he gets it. His brother didn’t include the marriage into the family book and she was tricked by him and sushei feels it’s his responsibility. Now his ex wants him to live with her and we don’t know what will happen next. Honestly this volume felt so sad. Wateru was nice but he tried so hard and sushei was gone for half of the volume. I wonder what his secret is and what happened with his ex and why he is incapable of love. I admire how Aoi is always trying to fight her feelings towards sushei but in the end she gives in. She’s in love with him and she realizes Wateru is nice but she’s still in love with someone else. I didn’t like how he gave her a hickey without her consent but I’m glad he listened to her. I really hope in the next volume we will get to see more about sushei’s secret

If all of the characters in a shoujo romance make you want to simultaneously hug and smack them, there's a good chance that the author is doing it right - shoujo romance has the market on frustrating yet addictive romances cornered. That said, I do wish guys would stop pawing Aoi as a show of their "affection."
Il finale di questo volume mi ha lasciata totalmente allibita. E inoltre, il personaggio di Shusei continua ad essere incredibilmente pieno di misteri...
Summary: Shusei's sister becomes concerned for Aoi after Shusei leaves her, so she comes to their school to spy on them. Eri catches Aoi with Wataru and poses as a customer for the class dating competition in order to meet Wataru and learn more about him. Eri also puts Wataru's and Aoi's relationship to the test. Even though Aoi tries her best to put a smile on her face and hide her feelings at school, Wataru is pretty observant of Aoi's true feelings and tries to comfort her after she sees Sushei. But it's clear while he's comforting her that he may no longer be interested in just a friendship. Can Aoi move on and have a real relationship with Wataru after constantly being reminded of Shusei from seeing him at school, or will she continue to suffer fretting over her feelings for Shusei without ever having them returned? And how much longer will Wataru be strung along for the ride?
Thanks Amazon for not bothering to translate the description of the paperback edition to English. I notice that you never seem to fail with the Kindle edition.
This is the last volume I have. As expected Shusei's secret was not revealed in this volume although Wataru (who should be renamed "KickMe") knows it. Wataru is one of the most hopeless characters I've seen in a manga.
Overall, this isn't a bad story but I'm not sorry to be moving on to something else.
I'm getting bored. To the male protagonist, sorry, I don’t get you. What makes you act like that? And the main girl, I get you a bit, but I can’t deal with the story anymore. Also, stop with that weird cousin trying to get involved with the protagonist. What’s going on? What’s the point of that storyline?

i remember starting this for the fucks back then and was just blown away by how messy this main guy was istg he did shit purposely to piss her off but he was so cute at times. it’s a whole bunch of ridiculousness. also kento the zoat yamazaki as Shusei 😍😍😍😍 like okkkk i’ll let him manipulate me too…..
I like this very silly series enough to read multiple volumes available in English in three days. While the premise can be absurd and it often is overly exaggerated, it’s funny and the main two characters are interesting.
