About the author

Maria Hardin began life in the piney woods of Florida, though almost Alabama. Her parents wandered hither and yon before finding a bayou where her family of nine lived in genteel Southern poverty. The salty air of the bayou settled into her blood early and her heart beats with the tide’s rhythm whenever she travels to the Gulf.

As a young widow, she ran away from the bayou and came back home to a small village named Grace. Writing rescued this damsel from fire-breathing dragons.

The piney woods cast a powerful hold on her, but there’s a hunger for the acrid smells of bayou country too. The fiddler crabs scuttling away from low tide tease her back to the bayou if she spends too much time in the country.

The wild blackberries nestled under pines in the Wiregrass come June, taunt her to return and taste their sweetness …

As she spins around and around like a top, where she stops, only she’ll decide. More and more, Maria splits life between the two places.

After all, an hour and a half brings her from the bayou to the Wiregrass.
Even simpler is to travel from land to land via stories of the past.

Bewitching Circe by Maria Hardin is the most intriguing novel readers will get their hands on. Absolutely touching, sexy, and enchanting. Readers will be sucked into the plot after reading the first page. Maria Hardin automatically takes her readers on the most curious and dangerous battlefields of all. Gods, love, and two individuals who will be fighting as hard as possible the instant connection and power that comes their way.

Bewitching Circe is a debut novel that will capture audiences from all over the world. Mythology, paranormal stuff, and romance all wrapped into one incredible novel. The drama and troubles are only just beginning...Can one man defeat his way through it all? Maria Hardin is indeed a talented writer to watch out for. Her characters will find their way into readers laps and their hearts. Overall, I highly recommend this adventure to readers everywhere.

I was given an ARC through reading deals. I really hate doing this as I know there is a person behind each and every book but sadly I have to give a bad review. From the first page I was confused and many pages in I was still confused. I didn't know who was a male or who was female or what the heck was going on. I didn't even get past the prologue. The writing is terrible and so choppy it's more like a stream of consciousness than prose. I originally chose this book from the description but going to the Amazon description even that is written choppy and confusing. There's a lot needs doing with this book to make it right. The writing style is my main problem it needs to be slicker and much much smoother. Again I'm sorry for the bad review.
