Best book read about the topic of karma. Few pointers that I have always got me curious about the power of karma and I got my answers right here. Mary T Browne brings in real life cases she have encountered in this book in which gives us a clear understanding of what she meant the power karma. An example which I find particular interesting that is written in this book, is the understanding of "Mercy Killing". Still not forgetting another example that she also includes some part on the effect of committing suicide and how it plays a part. This is a must read book if you are into Karma.

🕊 ✨ ⭐️ ✨ 🕊

🕊⭐️ Karma is the universal law of cause and effect. You reap what you sow. You get what you earn. You are what you eat. If you give love, you get love. Revenge returns itself upon the avenger. What goes around comes around.

🕊⭐️ Karma is justice.

🕊⭐️ There is something called a karmic boomerang that is a very important element of this book. The boomerang is an action that backfires on its instigator. In other words, you get hurt in the same way you intend to hurt someone. Not all boomerang effects are immediate. Some take weeks, or even years, to manifest.

🕊⭐️ Let me stress that most of us normal people (as opposed to true geniuses or great teachers) stay in the spirit world from eight hundred to twelve hundred years. It is unlikely that your loved ones will return to earth before you pass over. Our loved ones will be waiting for us when it’s our turn to make the transition from the physical world to the spiritual realms. As we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will have no fear, because we will see the people we loved on earth who passed over before us waiting to help us make the transition.

🕊⭐️ All actions create reactions. We are all connected to each other by our universal karma. Whatever we do, or do not do, will be returned to us.

🕊⭐️ Karma has no deadline.

🕊⭐️ The past can’t be changed, but I can alter the way I let it affect me in the present.

🕊⭐️ All love relationships are reconnections from past lives. The intensity and the bond between these two souls is stronger because of the shared history. It’s not unlike a friendship of twenty years compared to an acquaintanceship of just a few weeks. These relationships are not soul mated. They are karmic.

🕊⭐️ Karma does play a part in the success or failure of our love affairs. It isn’t always a past-life issue that causes our affairs of the heart to break up. We bring traits with us into this life that will affect the choices we make. These traits will also affect the way we react to situations. At the same time, our childhood has a lot to do with our current karma, in all our relationships.

🕊⭐️ “You can’t erase bad karma. What’s done is done. That’s why we’re encouraged to think before we speak or act. Life will present you with a situation in order for you to pay the price for your actions.

🕊⭐️ Lots of people must experience the law of karma in action before it sinks in.
She found out the hard way that if you intentionally hurt others with your actions, you will hurt yourself. Boomerang.

🕊⭐️ We always think that we must have done something to make a person act in an evil way. Some people are just rotten eggs.

🕊⭐️ Forgiveness requires a great deal of strength. When we forgive, our hearts are filled with good karma. Forgiveness is refusing to bear a grudge; it releases hatred or resentment and lets go of any revengeful impulses. It is an act of love and illuminates our minds. It takes a great deal of energy to hate or to bear bad karmic wishes upon someone.

This book acts as a basic introduction to karma, the way that it works, and how much control we actually have. It's informative, albeit biased and with no external sources.

The thing that really bothers me about this book is that the author is so focused on categorizing "good" and "bad" karma, and she fails to recognize her own biases or ego along the way.

I really feel sorry for any former clients of this author. The light she paints them in is obviously exaggerated and really disturbing. In every story, Mary is the superhero that "shocks" her client back to reality and helps get their karma on track.

The book just....wasn't for me - though I did read it all.
2 stars because the writing didn't entirely suck and some points were solid.

I must say that the ideas in here became the foundation of the thoughts, actions and words I speak and practice. Very enlightening. I recommend this to people who's beginning to understand Karma. Examples are also written there. It is very comprehensive. Give it a try. The best Karma book out there.

I’d been meaning to read a book on Karma for quite some time, I picked this one randomly. I didn’t quite “click” with Mary’s teaching so I can’t say I learned much that I didn’t already know. But I can see this helping a lot of people so don’t be afraid to give it a try.

Excellent source for understanding how karma works. Put simply, yet honors the complexity of this age-old concept.

Great insights ... love the simplicity the writer has mastered with the depth of the issues discussed . I guess it is “harmony” :)

This is my first book by Mary T. Browne, I sort of wish that I read some of her other books first because I think that The Power of Karma would have spoken to me even more. That being said, everything happens for a reason so the universe made no mistake in having me read this book first.

The most fascinating part of this book was learning about Mary's connection to the Akashic records.
The Akashic records are essentially documentation of every single soul life ever lived and any event in the universe that has ever happened - all located in one cosmic place. The answers to our destiny and the way to achieving true nirvana lie within these records. This fully blew my mind.

The fact that Mary is able to channel these records and use them to help people is truly magical. This take a great deal of psychic energy and power to access. Mary isn't always able to access these records 1. because this IS so difficult to do energetically and 2. our spirit guides block us from locating certain information due to us being in our current lifetime to learn, grow and improve our karma. Sometimes we aren't ready to know the answers because we haven't learned them yet.

There was this theme in this book about really clearing our own personal karma. Karma is the basis of life. We come into each lifetime subconsciously agreeing to work on ourselves and to help those around us work on themselves. We are all interconnected and when one human improves themselves they are actually improving the entire human race. We are one network of consciousness. We are all one.

Life isn't easy nor is correcting our karma. I believe that this is done more easily when we vibrate high enough to realize that good Karma should come naturally, doing the right thing is ALWAYS the right thing to do and good karma shouldn't be created just to reap the benefits.

Once we have realized that vibrating with love and positivity are energizing enough, we will be the closest to ascending that we have ever been. Instead of focusing specifically on "good karma" we should just focus on living life through love and vibrating with positivity. There is an abundance of love to go around. Once this is achieved, good karma will follow.

I absolutely recommend buying a copy of this book and saving it. I will be now be moving onto the rest of Mary T. Brown's books!

I really enjoyed this book. Every detail was an accumulation of knowledge I have read or heard before. I believe Mary T. Browne describes real life scenarios with an art to further enlighten her readers on the topic of karma! Hands down a great read, not only will I pass this book on for others to read but I myself will read this book again. Thank you!

I'm not sure that I buy into everything in this book but it does make a good argument about focusing on the now vs. obsessing about the past & future.
