He also happens to be Charlotte's one night stand.
Rather than study the incriminating evidence built against her client, she continues to have sex with him. Then, when his secretary shows up dead on the same morning he is unaccounted for, she has sex with him again.
Normally, I would deduct a star for how stupid the main character is, but the sordid past that Noah keeps buried, revealing small memories like bread crumbs down a forest trail leaves enough suspense for me to trudge forward. The whole mystery with Audi James was a real roller coaster and I can't wait to delve into book 9 and finally discover who the real murderer is!

Wowza! Love it! This is a collection of the first eight installments of What He Wants, a deliciously sinful serial by Hannah Ford and it will rock your world! Each successive release becomes more interesting, exhilarating, mysterious, suspenseful and sexy. And yes, this is a serial with lots of cliffhangers but I personally love the excitement and anticipation of a good serial. It's just like watching your favorite weekly TV shows. And if you have Kindle Unlimited like I do, it's all gravy because you get to borrow and read an unlimited number of books each month and I read a lot of books! You can't beat it for ten dollars a month! I read this collection as it was originally released but this is a compilation of the first eight installments. Again, please remember, this is an ongoing serial and not a standalone read. The story is exciting, dark, thrilling, compelling, powerful, mysterious, suspenseful, enticing, addictive, romantic, seductive, sensual and steamy. The dialogue is smart, well written, intelligent, arousing and flows effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, engaging, intriguing and sexy as sin. What a great series. I know a lot of people get tired of it dragging on, but I don't feel that it does. It is no worse than reading a very long novel. So I greatly enjoy this book.

What an erotic and sexually charged thriller.

The Box Set I read was 1 -10, not sure where that one is here on Goodreads though, I can't tell if I have read more of Hannah's book on Amazon, I will have to check Goodreads to see??! I loved the read, Can't imagine reading these books by themselves the are way too short? For that reason I am happy I read them like this a set. I would say there is a lot of suspense, creativity, mixed it with a lot of hot & steamy-ness ...ness! wow wee!! I enjoy the characters Charlotte Holloway & Noah Cutler. If you don't mind a book where the man constantly tells the woman what to do ... you will enjoy this read. I have mixed feeling about that. I might have slapped Noah across the face a few times to whip him into shape. Must read. Enjoyed it so. ( ;

READER/BUYER BEWARE: At first, I liked that I could buy all 10 books for .99 and getting a good deal. WRONG!! There's OVER 22 Books! The others at $2.99. This author knows how to rip the customer off by offering short stories where the storyline never ends. These books offer bonus books that you find after a few short chapters, and those too offer short stories getting you to buy MORE BOOKS to find the conclusion. Each book is ridiculously short and there is no group deal of 11-22+. For the cost to read the beginning to end, you would think this author would employ her skills in editing her multiple books by spell checking. There are so many unanswered questions throughout the storyline. The characters give quick short answers & never follow up leaving you wondering. I did like the storyline, but after a few books in I couldn't help but feel I had already read this story. Then I realized that the storyline was almost identical to a book I read a few months ago, minus some alterations here & there. Other than that I did like the book(s), but I can't like the author who intentionally rips off the customer.

I thought this was an excellent price for 8 books. They're extremely short and IMO lacked depth. The plot does not work and seemed flimsy. I also saw there are actually 22 in the series. Let me just say I hate giving a negative review on someone's hard work but I cannot recommend this book. It started out in a bar and our H, Noah, spots Charolett across the room at a bachelorette party. There is no build up just a brief conversation. His thoughts are that of a possessive man who wants her carnally. After he leaves abruptly, Charlotte gives her name but never receives his. This is key for me as she walks home she is followed by Noah, who was waiting outside for her to leave. He makes his presence known shortly and pulls her in a back alley. He does not force but the scene that is painted for the reader is rough. He pulls down her top, bra than spins her around and presses her to a brick wall. He than takes her from behind, bareback, and completes his deed without any second thought. Can you say STD's? There seemed no concern from either, nor the posibility of pregnancy and the idea of brick chafed breasts do not appeal to me. This is basically how book 1 goes. Charolettes back story is she is attending law school and ironically enough Noah is her first big case. This is the plot I mentioned not working for me. I need more integrity in my h. She is a law student and working hard and there is nothing wrong with being dirty but give me a reason she wants him besides he's 6'3" and dark hair. Give me a better reason he's so drawn to her other than she's a curvy girl with big boobs. I need more as a reader to make it through 8 books. Why would I want to continue when it's just him tying her up with bracelets and ties and no true conversation? I loved fifty shades of grey so I'm not a prude but Christian was multi layered and you wanted to learn what made him the way he was. This guy here had not layers he just wanted to control and Charolett was written as shallow with no opinion. I like my h stronger and not just a tart in a black dress. I never made it too far into book 2 before I returned the set for a refund. I knew it would not work for me as in anything strong it starts with the foundation and builds upon that. Good luck!

This is SO frustrating!! First of all I want to say I HATE miniseries!! The ONLY reason I bought this was because I thought if it was a box set it would include all of the stories! I didn't realize there were 20 freaking books in this series! And I only bought 8?! Why is that even available? If the whole series has been written and is available, why not just make it a book?! Ugh this annoys me to NO end!! I will NOT be buying any more of this series, it wasn't THAT good and I will not be buying any more books from Hannah Ford.

The story moved along kind of quickly. The characters demanded trust from each other but never and then said they trusted each other but whenever something came up that would cast doubt on the other person they immediately lost their faith which proved neither of them trusted the other. Of course they had only known each other for less than a week!! So naturally trust must be built not automatically assumed, especially when one of them is suspected of murder. Although for a law student I thought it was kind of stupid of her to assume he was guilty. Why would he keep murdering people who had such obvious connections to him. It seems like, being the extremely intelligent guy that he was, he would have found a way to murder people and not implicate himself while doing it. That seemed rather obvious to me and I couldn't believe that that never crossed her mind once. That it all seemed too perfect and pointed too obviously at Noah. Whatever, I'm not going to finish the series so I guess I will never know who is out to ruin Noah or if Charlotte will ever truly trust him. Don't even care I'm so annoyed right now.

I don't even know how to rate this because I'm so irritated about buying an incomplete story that I want to give it 0 stars or 1 so at least it will have a rating. But the story itself kept me interested. Although I was kind of getting tired of the back and forth, I trust you, I don't trust you, I trust you, I don't trust you. ugh

An Awesome Read!

I loved reading What He Wants:Box Set Volumes 1-8, all about Noah Cutler a gorgeous Lawyer & Charlotte Holloway a first year law student. They met at a bar, she was attending a bachelorette party and he was having a drink. He saw her across the way and decided he wanted her. When she left the party early, as she was walking Noah grabbed her threw her up against a building and had his way with her, then he just walked off into the night. Later that night she got a call from a fellow law student named Josh, who said get down to Worthington's office now. It was 3:30 in the morning, Professor Worthington's showed up and was pleased to see the two eager students. He said this is a very high profile case, the client did not do it, but it will get messy along the way, I need you both to be dis create, both said no problem. Then he took us to meet our client, none other than Noah Cutler. He spoke with us each separately, and said he only wanted Charlotte. Per Professor Worthington I was to stick by his side and find out everything I could. We did go to the police station, where our client was called in for questioning, and being accused of murdering a friend Dani DeClair. And according to the detective Dani was murdered exactly as Noah's fiancé Nora was. So you are a definite interest in our book! The author wrote a very suspenseful story that will keep you on the edge of your seat! I will say this is normally not my cup of tea, but I really enjoyed reading it. Read about Charlotte & Noah and their fast paced relationship into BDSM, with trust & truthfulness riding hand in hand and be utmost pre eland in their future together. I have to say it is a cliff hanger, and I gave to read book 9 to find out what happens.

I purchased this collection of 8 short stories in the What He Wants series by Hannah Ford for $.99! Which I thought was a great deal for a collection of 8 books, ut their in lies the catch. They are 8 short stories that all together equal one full length novel of about 248 pages.




The story revolves around a law student Charlotte who gets involved with a mystery man named Noah. She soon learns after her one night stand with him that he will be the new client she will help represent in a murder trial. This is a dark story with heavy BDSM scenes all while giving this scary plot twist of did he or didn't he. I did get kind of made at the female lead, Charlotte because she couldn't make up her mind! Did she trust Noah and believe that he was innocent or does she believe he's guilty and capable of murder. Make up your damn mind women!




While I truly enjoyed the story and got drawn in to the twists and turns as well as the character development I am unwilling to continue the series, which has 19 stories in total (as of today). Every additional story is also a short story at the cost of $2.99! I'll wait until their is another box set, because it doesn't matter how great the story line or the writing is, a short story is not worth $2.99!

What a crock. I bought this thinking for $.99 have 8 volumes which really equal about 250 pages was a decent deal only to find out that there are 17 "books" in the series each for $2.99 and each only about 30 pages. PLEASE.

The plot could have been GREAT. But things happened TO FAST. I mean Charlotte knows Noah all of 2 days and is complaining that he ALWAYS keeps secrets and ALWAYS doesn't trust her. You've known the guy TWO DAYS at best and all your interaction with his is SEX, not even that great of sex (it comes across as "fast"). UGH I was so hopeful for this. What a waste of my time. Not even going to bother finishing the story. $48 for what looks like would be less than a 500 page book, no thanks. Then add the bad editing or lack there of.

First I did like the series. I don't like the small piece you give of the story and there is another book. The box set is the only way I read these books To get to the end of the box set and not be able to find the rest of the series in a box set is upsetting. I would like to finish the series however I will not be buying individual books at $3.00 a piece to finish. Offer me a box and maybe I will buy and finish.

What he wants?

Draw me in twist me around an don't let me go. Yeah , , , fast moving with BDSM overtures. After eight novels in a box set you would think the characters could resolve their differences and come to finding the killer. But, the reader is left with reading a number nine novel hoping to warp the who done it plot up. I think it's the Josh who killed the girls not the brother. It's a mystery . . .right not a romance.

I just couldn't get into this book. it was so simple and not in a good and fresh way, but in an underdeveloped way no real character development or plot development. the plot might've actually been interesting if it had been fleshed out differently, more believably. maybe if I'm really really bored someday I might come back to this book but not right now.

What I want

I thought this was one of the best series I have read in a long time, and I just can't wait to read the rest of it. Somehow it keeps you hooked just wanting more the only fault (and I am nitpicking) I can think of is in my opinion there is to many books in the series and if like me you can't afford them in a few weeks then it seems to drag it out a little.

Thank goodness book 1-8 came out and you could read one story after another, if not, you would lose the gist of the story. Big time attorney falls for college law intern, who he decides to bring into his BDSM lifestyle. He is almost on trial for multiple murders. These books bring us slowly to the realization that if it is not him, then who.
