Hoping to break free of the stifling religious constraints of her parents, Amanda Williams has fled her childhood home in Oklahoma to join her sister in Montana. Things are looking up. She even has a promising job interview using her degree in anthropology. Now she just needs to get out of the apartment more and meet people.
Sawyer Hamilton has reluctantly moved to Montana to take a job as a wildland firefighter. With the exception of one brother, his entire family lives in the area. Every one of his local sibling shares their mate with a member of another family, the Masters. He has put off meeting any of them for long enough. If his destiny lies with one of the two remaining unmated Masters, it’s time he faces his fate.
Logan Masters is working as a hiking guide for his family’s business. He’s aware Sawyer has moved to town, but has avoided meeting him. He doesn’t have to come face to face with Sawyer to know they will inevitably share the same mate. When his younger sister presses the issue, he is forced to accept his destiny. They are fated to spend their lives together, but who is the woman they will share?
Amanda has no idea what she has gotten herself into when she agrees to babysit for her sister’s friend. The unrest she has felt since moving to Montana increases tenfold when she meets the members of the Masters and Bartel-Hamilton families. She has dreamed of two men in her bed for weeks. When she steps in front of them and discovers they are indeed real, she is shocked speechless.
Finding themselves mated to a human female, Logan and Sawyer have mountains to climb. In addition to convincing Amanda of her place between them, they must also confront the latest spirit sightings and solve the challenging mysteries Fate has put in their path.
Becca Jameson is a USA Today bestselling author of over 100 books. She is most well-known for her Wolf Masters series and her Fight Club series. She currently lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and Goldendoodle. Two grown kids pop in every once in a while too! She is loving this journey and has dabbled in a variety of genres, including paranormal, sports romance, military, and BDSM.
A total night owl, Becca writes late at night, sequestering herself in her office with a glass of red wine and a bar of dark chocolate, her fingers flying across the keyboard as her characters weave their own stories.
During the day--which never starts before ten in the morning!--she can be found jogging, running errands, or reading in her favorite hammock chair!
Becca Jameson is such a great writer! She certainly writes steamy menages in this series, but she also isn't afraid to tackle racism and religious nuts. This is a fiery romance, between Amanda (Human) and Sawyer and Logan (shifters). Can't wait for Sharon's story!
One again, I enjoyed this new installment in the Wolf Masters series. I liked that Becca Jameson made Amanda human. It was starting to get a little too easy considering that the last two leading females (Laurie and Melinda) have been wolves. I also enjoyed the fact that Amanda had to explain her new lifestyle to her sister Mary who is human and had no prior knowledge of shifters. I also enjoyed how there was more than just one main obstacle in Amanda and her mates' paths. I really enjoyed the 'villains' in the books point of views more than I usually do. I don't know what was so special this time, maybe it was the fact that there more of them than in the past books. I can't wait to continue on with Sharon's story!
This series is a good one with enough intrigue, paranormal, angst and romance to satisfy. Love the interconnection of all of these characters. It makes you want to route for the good guys and boo the bad. But I did notice and wonder if Ms Jameson changed proofreaders? There were several times that the main guy's name were not correct in the scenarios. It wasn't real bad but this is the first book I noticed it in since reading this series and it was a bit confusing.
I needed to write a review for this story. Not only was this my first Becca Jameson book it was also my first Shifter book. I had actually stayed away from them. I have no idea why this book caught my attention but it did.
Only in the best way. I fell in love with Sawyer and Logan! I know I read this from the 9th book in but it was amazing.
So amazing in fact I finished this one, went to Becca's paige on iBooks and bough out her store. I have read almost everything she has out now. YES! That is how much I loved her writing.
Just this book alone, made me LOVE shifters. The instant love for Amanda in Logan and Sawyers eyes was so wonderful.
Everything she has written that I ahem read so far has been worth it.
