Back in med school, Felicia Blake couldn't help being impressed by Griffin Kaile's physique, as well as his intellect. The youngest of the accomplished Blake triplets, Felicia has put aside dating to focus on her career as a research scientist. She may have fantasized about Griffin—now a renowned cardiovascular surgeon. But that didn't include discovering that he's the biological father of the baby girl she's been asked to raise.
Even in scrubs, Felicia is the most stunning woman Griffin has ever known. Now that the daughter he never knew about has brought them together, he's eager to explore their romantic potential. But ambitious Felicia is reluctant to jump from passion to instant family. Which leaves Griffin only one choice—to somehow show her that this kind of breathtaking chemistry occurs only once in a lifetime…
Felicia the third Blake sister has a chance with the only man she ever loved by a gift from beyond the grave. Fighting him, his mother and a deadly disease she does what she do best. She makes the hard choices and gables on love. I loved all three Blake sisters story and recommend them highly.
This is the 1st book I read by Martha Kennerson. I loved book's story line. I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved Felicia's character. I was happy & sad for Felicia. I loved Griffin's character. I didn't like Griffin's mom. I loved the ending. Awesome job Ms. Kennerson.
I am so loving the Blake triplets and the men in their lives. Hate to have the series come to an end. If you have not read Farrah's book "Protecting The Heiress" and Francine's books "Seducing The Heiress" it is a must. Felicia is the last of the Blake triplets that is not married. Loved how she and Griffin met. The circumstances that bring them back together was great in the form of a baby girl named Alyia who just happens to be Griffin's biological daughter of whom he knew nothing about; coupled with the circumstances that kept them apart was not know by either. Felicia is asked to be the guardian over baby Alyia and asked to inform Griffin he is the father.
Baby girl last of the Blake triplets, Dr. Felicia Blake has surprises in store for her. After flying half way from around the world at the bequest of a hearing for her late friend who is the first person she runs into but "Alpha" former classmate the great renowned Dr. Griffen Kaile. After having her life turned upside down she an sister Farrah plots to get word to Dr. Griffen Kaile without interference of his overbearing mother. The story line from this point is riveting and fast paced. A page turner with surprises at every turn. Then there is big Sister Francine Meeks and her surprise story line that will have you laughing. Great novel! Great story-teller, excellent author.
I love the Blake triplets. Felicia's (Griffin) story was really touching. Two busy doctors with hectic schedules and now they have a baby to consider. Excellent job Martha Kennerson!
Finding work-life balance dripping with black love
I love Martha Kennerson's stories. She writes believable black billionaires with down to earth yet pie in the sky lives. The back story of how Dr. Felicia Blake and Dr. Griffin Kaile finally come together is a little convoluted, but the overall storytelling more than makes up for it. I hope to read much more of the Blake and Montgomery families.
This book is AMAZING and hysterical and delightful, telenovela-style. Is it medically accurate? Not *remotely*. Just go with it. I borrowed the trilogy from the library but I eventually bought my own paper copy of just this book because I love it so.
This was a perfectly serviceable category romance, which are more often miss than hit for me. It's a little bit of a bonkers plot, even for secret-baby tropes.
"This is the final installment in the Blake Sisters trilogy about three successful and ambitious triplets, and it is as engaging and interesting as its predecessors. The situations the characters find themselves in are entirely unique and will have readers glued to each chapter until the very end" (RT Book Reviews).
I thought this love story between Griffin and Felecia was a story worth waiting for! Both are brilliant doctors in their own right, however, a common friend dealt them a tough hand, but it also brought them together finally, letting true love prevail!
I enjoyed the chemistry between Felicia and Griffin, but I think the best part of the story is about Felicia being a research scientist, and see the love and passion she has for her profession.
