"You will love her characters"
V. Vaughn's books are so stunning!. You get caught up in her series very quickly. You will love her characters.
Sophie is divorced and decides to move on. She rents a cottage on Silverwolf lake. She hoped to find mentor her and her sister Caroline. Well Caroline found her man or should we say Wolf. Now Caroline and her daughter are both turned,and mated to werewolves. When Sophie moves into her cottage her sexy neighbor shows up and starts unloading her car. Sophia whispers other self that he is a silver fox lol. Sophie has a bad habit of talking outloud to herself lol. Sophie finds out the guys name is Warren and he is her sisters mates beta yep he is a wolf shifter to. So he has heard everything Sophie has whispered about him!. Warren does not want to be attacked to Sophie as she is a human and he does not trust humans. You will so love this sweet and stunning Romance!. It is a must read book!.

Destined for problems...
You would think if you knew your fated mate was near, you'd be all over them. Not so with Warren Nelson. He is a bit scared of his mate and her words and thoughts seem to put him more on edege; or is there something more going on? Sophie suffers from what many of us suffer from...foot in mouth disease! If she doesn't say it out loud, she's thinking it loudly enough for her fated mate to hear...Upon setting her first sight on Warren Sophie's thought stray to the naughty: "Rawrr. The things I could teach you." When Warren gives her the silent treatment and doesn't respond at all, Sophie's response: "I'll teach you to talk in the morning, Foxy." Sophie is laying it on strong!
Will she back up her words...
Going to be hard to make this relationship work. Warren doesn't trust humans and Sophie doesn't trust men. Since her divorce, Sophie, her words, is a thirty-something living a twenty-something's life and it's time to settle down. What Sophie wants more than anything is to be really loved. Her ex husband Dave didn't love her as she loved him and Sophie won't be the fool again. Because Warren is Sophie's true mate he has to love her for that alone but is that good enough to dive in again and repeat the mistakes from the past? Sophie feels she's finally moved on from Dave and ready to find the right person this time around. And when the past shows up to reclaim her, now what? Typical...

When Warren finally is able to speak words, he tells Sophie that they got off on the wrong foot and asks if they can start over. Sophie's decided she doesn't want to and turns Warren down flat. "No we can't. I'm sure you're a great guy, but this isn't going to work for me. You'll be fine. Foxy. It was over before it started." OUCH!!!!
It's time to circle up and come together...
Of course Sophie's sister and niece want nothing more than for Sophie to fall for Warren and become one of the pack but Sophie's got to give Dave one last shot right? Dave...human...dumped you/Warren...hot werewolf, hot sex and can cook. Yeah right!
I would like to have rated this story higher but it suffers from the same lack of detail and incohesiveness as the others. It's a good story and a fun one and Sophie is in a league all her own.

The last book of the Winter Valley Wolves, the story of Sophie and Warren didn’t convince me much, although Vaughn’s writing truly shows they got chemistry. Annoyingly delightful. The characters are too different to fall in live this fast, but again there’s the true mate fact to guide their desires and bodies over rational mind. Not my favorite in the series at all.

Sophie’s ready for love again after divorcing her husband who said he did not love her. She moves closer to her sister. She does not expect the attraction she feels immediately to Warren. Warren wants nothing to do with Sophie because she is a human. A super fast, insta-love read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Enjoyable romance with slightly more mature H's.
Sophie and Warren have to learn to trust each other to make a relationship even though they can't keep their hands of each other. Sophie as she is divorced and was hurt and Warren due to Sophie being human.

Loved Warrens story!!!!!
As the final book in the Silver Lake Wolves series, I lived Warren and Sophies story. Sad to have it end, but thoroughly enjoyed the characters and storylines .

What a terrific end to the Winter Valley Wolves series. It had me laughing out loud and I absolutely loved it.
I love V. Vaughn's books and 'Destined' is the ninth and final book in her wonderful Winter Valley Wolves series. I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review and I absolutely loved it. What a wonderful finale to this series. Written in the first person from Sophie's point of view, something I don't normally like but I barely even noticed, I was so engrossed in the story. It had me hooked from beginning to end and although I'm a little sad that this is the last in the series, it left me with a smile on my face and quietly chuckling at the end.
Sick of strangers and aimless drifting, all Sophie really wants is to settle down in a place where people know who she is and she knows who they are, with a man who'll love her like she loves him. She yearns for a home and family. After a painful divorce, two years of the free-living lifestyle and feeling it's time to get back into the dating pool, she responds to her niece Trixie's suggestion that she spend the summer here with Caroline, and they can both get out there. Getting her sister sorted didn't take long at all and now she's renting one of the summer cabins on Silver Lake and working as the Wedding Planner at the Winter Valley Country Club. Things aren't going to plan at all. It's pouring with rain, she's dropped her clothes into a muddy puddle and she's feeling a bit lonely and out of sorts until she catches sight of the dripping and half naked hunk that's decided to unload her car. So she does what any red blooded woman would do... she ogles and drools for a minute or two before going outside to say thank you. She's a bit disconcerted when he not only doesn't speak to her, but rushes away with her dead plant clutched in his hands. Weird. He had potential, but she's sure there are more possibilities for a relationship out there, she just has to find one. Fortunately destiny still has a card to play...
Distrusting them completely and feeling all humans are a danger to the pack Werewolf and pack beta Warren Nelson is having a really hard time. How stupid can you get, running away from your true mate in terror because she's human, and even worse, taking her plant with you. Okay, so the plant needed help, but not a great first impression and the second impression wasn't any better. Damn, now he'd be lucky if she ever spoke to him again...
I'm not going to give any spoilers, but this terrific story had me laughing out loud. Filled with humour, steam and including familiar characters whose stories have been told in the previous books, there is a happily ever after for Sophie and Warren. 'Destined' is also part of the multi-author Mating Season Collection of paranormal romances. All the books can be read as stand alones, they are complete stories with HEA and no cliff-hangers.

I was given an ARC of 'Destined' from the V. Vaughn, in exchange for an honest review.
I've been waiting for this story since Warren first jumped out to save Kayla in 'Ergan' (book 5 in this series). Once again as soon as it landed in my Kindle app, in this case was just minutes agao, I had to jump right into it. One chapter in & I was once again HOOKED! I really hope there is more to come for this series, I really don't want it to end. I STRONGLY recommend you read "Winter Valley Wolves" in order, it is a must!!
Sophie is slowly getting used to her summer not being what she originally planed. Her plans where to get her sister & herself new men, but her sister already found herself a mate & is deliriously happy. Having moved into a house by Silver Lake & starting her wedding planning job there is just one thing missing. Warren is beta to the pack & waiting patiently for his mate to show herself, so it comes to a surprise that it's his new alpha females sister, but Warren doesn't trust humans too easily....
I was really hoping Sophie would find happiness, especially after reading about her past, then to have grouchy, silent, Warren, who takes a little while to warm up to humans around him as the man in question.... WOW. I loved how Sophie & Warren interracted with one another & especially the change that occurs because of the mating pull.

Destined is book 9 in the Winter Valley Wolves. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved it from the first meeting between Warren and Sophie to the happy ending. I love the more mature couple in this series and I also got some great laughs with this story.

When Sophie moves into her cottage her sexy neighbor shows up and starts unloading her car. Sophia whispers to herself that he is a sexy silver fox and she would love to teach him certain things. She forgot that she is now living in a town that has werewolves (with their super hearing).
Then you have Warren (the sexy silver fox), he is the beta of the pack and has been waiting patiently for his mate to show herself, so it comes to a surprise that it's his new alpha’s mate’s sister, but Warren doesn't trust humans too easily. When he first meets her he bolts, the second time he bolts again, the third time he marches to her cottage with home baked muffins as a peace offering. When Sophie finds out that she is his fated mate she reels in pain as she believes he is only attracted to her due to fate.

I received this book for an honest review. I so love this series. The Winter Valley Wolves has a special place in my heart. V. Vaughn does such an amazing job with this series. You cannot help but fall in love with each and every character.
We were introduced to Sophie Quinn in book 8. Though I loved Sophie in the last book, I think you got to see a little more about her in this book. Her personality really shown threw. She was so funny. I loved how she talked to herself. She forgot that she was living in a town that had werewolcves. Which made it very interesting since she spoke whatever came to her mind. I can only imagine the thoughts that were going through Warren’s mind hearing what Sophie was thinking.
Warren Nelson was the beta of the Silver Lake pack. His alpha had been hounding him to take a mate. Warren wanted to find his true mate. Warren did not trust humans. Which made it hard being so attracted to Sophie.
I loved reading about Warren trying to get to know Sophie. It was hard for him. He wanted her so bad and there was no doubt in his mind that he was in love with her. He put her feelings and needs first. Though there were a few things he did not handle well.
Things get hot and heavy between Sophie and Warren. You might need a cold shower after you are through reading.

I loved reading about Warren trying to get to know Sophie. It was hard for him. He wanted her so bad and there was no doubt in his mind that he was in love with her. He put her feelings and needs first. Though there were a few things he did not handle well.
Things get hot and heavy between Sophie and Warren. You might need a cold shower after you are through reading.

Sophie and Warren, I love another more mature couple in this series. Sophie has come to spend time with her sister and niece. Mostly recovered from her divorce she would love to find a man to truly love her but not sure it will ever happen.
When she sees her neighbor, hot, really hot, other things cross her mind... or a little lower. Then he seems to ignore her. Okay, fine. When they finally talk he just lays it out. She is his mate and he doesn't trust humans.
Great the man has to love her but doesn't even like her.
Enjoy this romp with the guy everyone called crotchety. She's younger, but he is hot and the silver fox just does things to her. You will laugh out loud when she says under her breath what she's thinking, not knowing about his shifter hearing. You will be touched by the couple and their brief but interesting courtship. Ms. Vaughn can give us young teens, early twenty couples, middle range and even a little more mature and make them hot, fun and keepers. I know this whole series is a keeper for me.

Sophie and Warren are scared to pursue the feelings they have for one another. Sophie is just getting back to dating after a divorce really devastated her. Warren is a wolf shifter and not very trusting of any humans. He realizes she is his mate but he is scared to have a relationship with her. They have to get past their fear to find what they have been searching for all their lives.
The story is a quick read and I enjoyed the characters. Sophie acts very upbeat and happy but was really hurt by the end of her marriage. Now, her sister and niece have found happiness with members of the pack and she is alone. She feels the attraction to Warren but his resistance raises all kinds of flags in her mind. The story does not alternate in narration so we only know directly what Sophie feels. I do like it best with it alternates so I can get to know the main characters more intimately. Warren is a good guy and he is just cautious. He is the Beta and it is his role to be a protector.
I have read all the books in the series and it does help with some of the background. In this one, reading her sister and niece's story first would help you understand more about the characters. It is not required as each is a stand-alone.

I have no clue how Ms. Vaughn writes such award winning books but Mating Season is one of them and everyone is better than the last one. And the sex OMG! We all want Hot Steamy Sex. Yes, I definitely recommend this Must Read Book especially the hot sex parts lol.

Warren Nelson is a cranky old Beta of the pack, he is very close to Paul the Alpha and Caroline's Mate. Warren has issues with humans he doesn't trust any of them. In V. Vaughn’s Destined: Winter Valley Wolves book 9, we get Sophie’s story. Sophie was introduced to us in a previous installment in the series. Sophie who recently divorced is trying to live her life to the fullest and moving next door to Warren has turned into lust at first sight …sort of. Unaware that Warren is a wolf she embarrasses herself by commenting to herself on his good looks only then realizing that he must have heard her and that her sister had told her that the wolves has super hearing senses. Warren doesn’t trust humans, he’s has a traumatic past with them but finding out that Sophie is his true mate sends him running and giving Sophie the cold shoulder but the mating heat between them is too strong. When Sophie’s ex comes back into the picture trying to swoop Sophie off her feet, she must choose between her past and her future. The Winter Valley Wolves series is by far one of my favourite paranormal romances and I recommend this series to everyone.

Another winner from V. Vaughn! This series just continues to get better and better. Sophie is officially divorced and moving into her new home when she sees the sexy, hot, fox of a man next door. She even makes a comment about it inside the house with the doors and windows closed so he couldn't have heard her right? Warren is in shock. He is a wolf shifter and has found his mate only she's human. He is frustrated and moody when the are finally introduced and she finds out what he is. This story has laughs and hot sexy scenes that will have you wanting it to go on forever but needing to know how it ends. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Well sophie Quinn came all the way to Silver Lake to get her sister out of the house and to have a little fun. Her plan worked better and faster then she planned now she was going to spend the time she planned having fun with her sister by herself. On an up note there was a really hot guy living next to the house she just rented

Warren has waited a long time to find his true mate, he just didn't plan on her being human. Humans are trouble, not to be trusted. So what is a werewolf to do when his true mate is human? Get over it, before she decides to move on.

Last, but certainly not least, is the story of Warren and Sophie. After what Warren did for Kayla in Ergan, I was really happy to see him get his HEA in this sweet romance. The sex in this book wasn't too explicit (in fact, a couple of times there's no detail at all) and there's no violence. Something I enjoyed was how all 9 of the women manage to get together at the end. It was fun to see them all finally come together. While this was a great conclusion to the series, I wish it weren't the end.

who says you have to be twenty to find true love? we're back in winter valley territory and we join sophie as she gets into contact with warren. she's not sure about all that true mate stuff and he's not all to fond of humans. will they find a way to be together or are things bound to go wrong from the moment they meet? they have a hard time fighting the attraction.
