First, here's my casting....

Hudson Pierce is back!!!!!
Please note that this book is the third and final instalment in The Fixed Trilogy and is not intended to be read as a standalone as it is a direct continuation of the story from the previous books.
This one picks up right where the last book ended with that one burning question that we were left with and my heart was in knots while wondering how that secret could potentially come between them.
Despite their respective issues though, Hudson and Alayna loved each other very deeply. Even though mistakes had been made and trust had been broken in the past, the one thing that held strong how much they both so clearly wanted to make this relationship work.
"I knew our love outweighed the heaviness of those mistakes."
What I loved about them was that they both were quite .... well, "damaged" isn't really the right word per se, but they were both struggling with certain compulsions that their pasts had almost turned into habit. But they both understood where their issues lay and they were both willing to work at changing themselves and helping each other take steps towards being more healthy both individually and as a couple.
"We both have to change. We have to put everything out on the line, Hudson, as much as possible. We know now that we're together, thick and thin, right? We have to trust that more than anything. We can't be afraid of our secrets and our pasts. Both of us. Honesty, open doors, transparency."
What I loved was that we got to see several scenarios created by the direction of the plot which could have led to more mistakes being made on both their parts but I was so thrilled to see them taking the right path and making the right choices instead of repeating the mistakes of their past. It clearly showed that they had both grown a lot over the course of their relationship.
"We have the future to make up for the hurts we've cause each other."
As with the first two books, the character dynamic here were great! I loved the writing too -- it continued in the same, strong, compelling style that I'd come to love in this series. I also loved the interjections of humor now and again too that helped lighten the mood even if it was sometimes at Hudson's expense ;)
"Jealousy doesn't look good on you, son."
I disagreed. Jealousy did look good on Hudson. Quite good indeed.
A low grumble came from the back of his throat.
Jack cocked his head. "Did he just growl?"
It brought a smile to my face watching Hudson and Alayna work through their issues and make concessions for each other along the way. They both had a strong understanding of each other's fears and genuinely tried to help make things better. With the way it was portrayed, it almost made it relatable because it was written in such a way that really made you genuinely understand their mind set.
Now, the entire story is told from Alayna's POV which was wonderful in some respects because it really made her a very relatable heroine as it was so easy to understand what drove her insecurities and what she was feeling. But seeing only one side of the story also made everything regarding Hudson a huge mystery.
He loved her. There was no doubt about that. I mean, his words speak for themselves...
"You're the center of my world precious. Every minute of every day. Even when I'm not with you."
...but he was hiding something big -- a devastating secret that genuinely had the power to tear them apart.
I'm not going to deny that at this point, I got very frustrated with Hudson. It was actually an interesting situation because in most books I find myself frustrated with the heroine for one reason or another and in this book, it was the hero who I wanted to shake. I was fully Team Alayna at this point because he shut down and refused to talk about anything despite their promises of openness. And this closed-off attitude put an understandably huge wall between them.
"I have no answers to give you. This subject is closed."
"Are you kidding me? You're not going to talk about this?"
"No, I'm not."
OMG I was going nuts trying to figure out what his angle was. What was he up to?? I was right there in the same boat as Laynie -- I wanted to trust him, but his actions and secrets made it so fucking hard. I guess I really have to tip my hat to the author here for putting my right in the heroine's mind and having me experience the exact same things as her because dammit, I was reaching the limits of my patience and understanding with him. He literally pushed me to the very brink and almost over. I was angry with him. Furious. There didn't seem to be any justifications for his actions and he was literally forcing Laynie to deal with her worst nightmare. How could he not see that???
But here's the interesting thing -- I was more frustrated with this part of the story while I was reading than I was afterward. Because looking back on it now and knowing what his secret was, I kinda get it. I still think he was wrong to keep it from her and there was no doubt that that was a huge mistake on his part but... nobody's perfect and we all knew the demons he was fighting. And honestly -- his secret was bad enough that once I found out what it was, I did at least understand why he would have wanted to hide it.
While the back and forth in this part of the story did frustrate me a little, I also recognize that working through issues is a part of what makes a relationship stronger. I felt like especially given their particular set of problems and weaknesses, this was the kind of hurdle that would make or break their relationship and there was no doubt in my mind that if they could face this and come out on top, that they could face anything.
"I don't have all the answers yet. But we can work on it together. We fix each other, remember?"
At it's core, this was a story of two deeply damaged people who loved each other deeply fighting a lifetime of compulsions and making up for potentially unforgivable mistakes. But the fact that, even in their worst moment, they still loved each other was was what got me through the harder parts of this book.
And when it was good between them.... just WOW. My heart soared. It was beautiful. I don't want to spoil anything but there some scenes that had me gasping out loud in happiness!! Not to mention that I do love me a good grovel and there was a healthy dose of grovelling here ;)
"Even though I don't deserve it, I'm determined to fight to earn back your trust. Even if it takes the rest of my life."
I won't spoil the ending but I will say that I loved it and that we're treated to a beautiful epilogue from Hudson's POV that just made all the hardship they went through worth it and brought their story full circle. It was heartwarming and just a perfect, very fitting end to the series.
"We know that we're worth the fight. SHE'S worth the fight…. She's mine. And I'm hers. Completely and absolutely."
The Fixed series delivers a scorching hot romance, heart stopping emotion, and a plot that will keep you glued to the page. Once I started reading, I could not put it down. This really was a wonderful trilogy!! I loved it and would highly recommend it especially for fans of Crossfire who are looking for something new to try that is unique in it's story but similar in it's vibe. If you loved Gideon Cross, then you have to meet Hudson Pierce!

★★★★ 4 'Fixed' stars!
"Without struggle there is no progress."
Forever With You is the third and final part of the Fixed-series by Laurelin Paige and it picks up right where the previous part ended. Since I really liked the previous two books in the series, I was very much looking forward to find out how Hudson and Alayna's story would end. Throughout the story, Alayna's jealousy and insecurity did annoy me at times, though I did understand where she was coming from. And Hudson has become even more swoon worthy now that he's finally admitting his true feelings toward Alayna, even though it takes him quite a while to get there.
"You're the first person I've ever loved, Alayna. And I know you'll be the last."
Alayna Withers has always had trouble connecting with people. Her commitment issues were of the kind that she always got too attached to the men in her life and even went as far as too stalk them and follow them around when they didn't return her affections. But now that she's finally overcome her stalker tendencies, she's been able to build up a seemingly healthy and stable relationship with Hudson, who never judged her because of her past.
Still, the fact that Hudson believed Celia over her for a short period of time hurt her more than she could have imagined. It has made her self esteem fragile and she's become even more insecure than before. Then, there's the fact that Celia keeps coming back into her and Hudson's life which makes it all the more difficult for her to get past her trust issues.
"You belong to me, precious. You belong with me. I won't let anything come between us. I won't let anything hurt you."
Hudson Pierce has never really let anyone get too close to him. From the moment he realized how many women were attracted to him and how easily it was for him to manipulate them with his charm, he's made it his sport to play women by making them fall for him and then leave them heartbroken behind. But Alayna has always been different. She's the only one who's been able to brake through his exterior and find a way into his heart. Still, he hasn't told her all of his darkest secrets and he's afraid that when he does, she'll never be able to forgive him. So, he tries to deflect and avoid her many questions. But in the end it's proven once again that keeping secrets never turns out so great...
"Here I am, precious. I give myself freely. All of me, Alayna. No more walls or secrets or games or lies. I give you all of me, honestly. For forever, if you'll take it."
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this series. It was original, with just the right amount of drama and the perfect combination of romance and passion. I was happy with the way the story ended even though I would have liked the epilogue to be a little longer but that's just a minor detail. All in all, Forever With You was the perfect conclusion to Hudson and Laynie's story and I'm already looking forward to Gwen's story in the spin-off of this series.

4.75 Beautiful overall Fixed Stars
This is one of those series that was sitting on my TBR list forever, I had them on my kindle yet picked up other more new releases than this one. But hey here I am going back wanting to catch up on old series, so why not right??
I have to say that initially it didn't grab me in full force that I usually like, I love Hudson and his dominant personality and magnitude, and likewise Alayna and her kickass strength that I loved. But this series has a very important plot that bit by bit unraveled as I read it, as I started to see into the secret, lies and characters that I enjoyed to hate and detest!!! I was seeing why certain people were important to how things were mapped out, why hudsons mum acted the way she is, who Hudsons father is?? Hudson's sister Mia and Celia well if I EVER hated a character then it has to be her... I loved everything about learning the importance of their roles, and to me this was like a puzzle that I was trying to put together before it happened. If you've read it you'll understand what I'm trying to say here.
Sensual, intriguing... Beautiful intrquiete plot... Sexy, magnetic characters that had me holding on for dear life.. I have met my new BFF broken heroes having me grabbing ahold of the words I want to savour them, hold them and help them...
Alayna is vulnerable because of her addiction, which are the kind of qualities I love. She's sassy and Fiesty and strong because of how she lives and how she deals with the hand she's been given. But I adore the way she handles herself likewise.
***Overall this was a slow developed story that gripped hold on my bones and tangled itself into my day, I'll now feel very lost without these characters but so help me God have I loved being alongside their journey...
Looking forward to reading Gwens books at some point.

This story was mother fucking TOLD... seriously developed and thought out which you dont see that much. it's either good sex ok plot, or great plot weird sex. WOW. on the whole if you take the whole jorney this is one hell of a book slow clap for the author. good job bitch.. i spent my money well on this one

My Thoughts : Wow...where do I start ?
Fixed trilogy was one of those series that sat on my TBR shelf gathering dust while I flicked through different genes one after the other...but I'm glad I finally got down to reading it, this weekend. That way it didn't matter I pulled at all-nighter to finish up the book because I was too hyped to fall asleep.
I think the real reason I enjoyed this specific trilogy, was due to the fact I had never come across a couple with obsessive issues before...
While she tended to get obsessed with people..He loved getting people to obsess over him..I'll admit,in one way their relationship did seem a bit dysfunctional at first..But I could also see that it was their understanding of each-others past & issues,that finally kept them together.
Recommendation: Would I recommend this book ? Probably yes..
For once the story line felt fresh and un-used..
Yes,it did had a bit of an erotica factor..and yes, the hero is an alpha male/sometimes asshole like in every other billionaire book...but that's where the similarities end...
So yes I'm glad I gave this a go.

God!!! I'm actually teary writing this review and I feel sad. It's a mix between a series hangover and depression.
Is this really our last Huds book? I can't believe it!!!!! I don't want to believe it :(
First and foremost, this book was the PERFECT ending to the series!!!!! Honestly third books are tough. The sex is always a little heavy, the plot can get boring, it can be overly sappy - almost losing the angst that the first two in the series had. It's really hard. But I'd say Forever with You was not. The author kept our hearts pumping and HOLY SHIT! She breaks us....I'm was on the floor crying,"What!!! How could you? ...omg :/ How? Why? Why? What the hell? Hudson...oh Alayna.... *sobs*
Definitely angst!!!
We get a huge SECRET in this book. Something YOU WOULD NEVER SEE COMING. Or at least I didn't. I'm terrible at figuring things out, so it hit me like a bulldozer. Celia is back *arg* and Stacy's video is brought up, of course. Remember the end of book two? Welp...Ha! ANGST! Seriously, Hud's and Alayna have a lot to work through. Not only getting past what happened at the end of book two when Hud's didn't believe her, but the feeling of betrayal that she carries with her.
It's a push and pull of whether Alayna should trust this man she loves, who says he's transparent, but really isn't. Hudson is hiding something and refuses to open up to her. He's always asking her to trust him. But, trust is earned and this book is ALL based on this couple building that trust!
You know really I love Alayna. I really do. I "get her." Yes, she's crazy jealous, but I can really RELATE to that. Haven't you ever sneaked or probed on your hubs or boyfriend? *winces, while averting eyes* I can say I have definitely snooped a time or two.
She's just relatable.
I always feel what she feels! I get jealous with her , turned on with her, angry with her, hurt with her, broken with her and crazy with her. I felt like I became her in this series. Even though she's a little crazy, she was EVERY girl that wants to matter and be loved. She's seeking validation. She goes a little over board, BUT in the final installment she BLOOMS. Talk about growing up. God, I honestly love the girl. I have to say she may be my favorite female fictional character. I just feel like I get her.
Hudson, boy oh boy. Hud's, he's .....he's something in this one alright. I was fucking stunned while reading. I'm not going to lie!!! I might have wanted to kick the shit out of him. Maybe even maim him at one point. But oh my God, I love freaking the man. Like FULL ON LOVE HIM! He grows up too! He's deliciously dominant, but so sweet and marshmallowy on the inside..INCREDIBLE.
He'll forever and ever be in my top five BEST BOOK BOYFRIENDS EVER!
Hud's and Alayna's story grows. We may think we know Hudson Pierce but we don't!!! The plot sizzles in the final book and the punches that are thrown are epic.
Overall this is a FIVE star series for me. I love them both and I'm sad it's done!!!!!!!

Accelerating tension and angst

Bigger love than the big ugly secret.
Right amount of groveling.
Excellent ending.

One of my favourite series of all time that involves alpha billionaires, possessive and obsessive stalkers and true love!
(Although I am still not sure if I like Hudson...)

4 In Love With Hudson Stars

Forever With You is the third and final installment to the story of Hudson and Laynie.
We pick up at about where we left off from the last book.
Hudson and Laynie are back together, but still on shaky ground.
Laynie is still very much hurting over the fact that Hudson believed Celia's lies over Laynie's truths!!
In the beginning of the story, I really couldn't stand Laynie.
Even though Hudson apologized to her and the truth of Celia's deceptions were out, she still had moments where she was a blubbering idiot.
Bitch Celia is still present in this one.
I was hoping the bitch would take a flying leap off the Empire State Building!!!
She was just constantly following Laynie around, and I knew the bitch still had something up her sleeve.
I found Hudson to be the PERFECT Book Boyfriend!
He was so attentive to Laynie in every way and I just thought it was weird that he loved when she would have her super jealous and possessive episodes over him.
He claimed that it made him feel loved, but it just gave me an uneasy feeling.
Hudson admitted that he would pretend to be into women in the past just for fun.
He was the master manipulator.
I thought of the movie "Cruel Intentions".
This had to be what was going on.
Hudson was pretending to be in love with Laynie.
Hudson is hiding stuff from Laynie.
He's making late night calls to one of his female employees and having business meetings with her outside of work.
This sets off Laynie's old insecurities and she starts acting like the crazy jealous girlfriend with stalkerish tendencies.
At this point I'm still really not liking Laynie, but loving Hudson.
Until....she finally confronts Celia, and punches the bitch in the face!!! YEAH!!!!!
Unfortunately, truths are revealed and I was only partially right about what I thought was going on.
I felt really bad for Laynie.
She was so utterly devastated.
I have to say that eventually Laynie pulls herself together and she had truly grown.
She didn't fall back into her old habits.
She was stronger.
I admired her strength in the end.
I knew Hudson had to go through hell to win her back.
I loved how he handled Celia!!

Forever With You is the third and final installment to the story of Hudson and Laynie.
We pick up at about where we left off from the last book.
Hudson and Laynie are back together, but still on shaky ground.
Laynie is still very much hurting over the fact that Hudson believed Celia's lies over Laynie's truths!!
In the beginning of the story, I really couldn't stand Laynie.
Even though Hudson apologized to her and the truth of Celia's deceptions were out, she still had moments where she was a blubbering idiot.
Bitch Celia is still present in this one.
I was hoping the bitch would take a flying leap off the Empire State Building!!!
She was just constantly following Laynie around, and I knew the bitch still had something up her sleeve.
I found Hudson to be the PERFECT Book Boyfriend!
He was so attentive to Laynie in every way and I just thought it was weird that he loved when she would have her super jealous and possessive episodes over him.
He claimed that it made him feel loved, but it just gave me an uneasy feeling.
Hudson admitted that he would pretend to be into women in the past just for fun.
He was the master manipulator.
I thought of the movie "Cruel Intentions".
This had to be what was going on.
Hudson was pretending to be in love with Laynie.
Hudson is hiding stuff from Laynie.
He's making late night calls to one of his female employees and having business meetings with her outside of work.
This sets off Laynie's old insecurities and she starts acting like the crazy jealous girlfriend with stalkerish tendencies.
At this point I'm still really not liking Laynie, but loving Hudson.
Until....she finally confronts Celia, and punches the bitch in the face!!! YEAH!!!!!
Unfortunately, truths are revealed and I was only partially right about what I thought was going on.
I felt really bad for Laynie.
She was so utterly devastated.
I have to say that eventually Laynie pulls herself together and she had truly grown.
She didn't fall back into her old habits.
She was stronger.
I admired her strength in the end.
I knew Hudson had to go through hell to win her back.
I loved how he handled Celia!!

Hudson Pierce.... 5 dreamy stars...
What a FANTISTIC ending to this series! I've loved each book, but I think this one was the best.... I loved Hudson just as much in this one as the others and I ended up liking Alayna even more this time. I know many got tired of her whining and jealousy throughout this series.. but that's just who she is.. she's been a work in progress and has seriously come a long way. Most of the issues with Hudson and Alayna in this installment, I feel, lay squarely on the shoulders of Hudson Pierce.. As much as I love that man, I seriously wanted to kick his ass.. especially when a MAJOR SECRET was revealed !! One that I totally did not see coming! And the more I think about this secret.. it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense for what happened in book 2 to even have been able to happen... spoiler below
OK, so that one thing does not really make sense, but I can over look it since the rest of the story was so good and I loved having a little extra angst and drama thrown in.. but still--- I do think that part of the story could have been done differently to make more sense.
But in the end, fantastic series!

Dear Lord that was a train wreck.
I had such high hopes with this series when I read book 1. Yes they had issues but instead of getting better together they continued to fuck up every day! It's like 1 day couldn't go by with no drama.
This latest installment was no different. They solved everything with sex. Alayna was a whiney little bitch. Hudson with held information and refused to tell her. Even then she begged him to stay?! Say goodbye and grow some balls, woman!
Celia? She was the issue with all 3 books. Zero originality. At least bring something fresh to the table.
When the truth came out it was that Hudson started the relationship with her as a game with Celia.
FINALLY Alayna tells him to leave. Well thank God! She finally grew a pair. What does she do after crying for days? Goes to his loft to smell his sheets. You have got to be kidding me. Chick is fucked.
I will say the only thing that sorta saved this book was Hudson groveling. He did do a good grovel.

Another Trilogy I am sad to see end! Another couple that have cemented themselves as favorites of mine. I love a book that you cannot put down, I was trying to read every chance I get, at work, when I stopped at the traffic lights and definitely did not sleep that night trying to finish it! Yup I was it's bitch!!!
It was amazing, certainly outdid the previous two books in terms of angst, drama, steam, plot twists and had moments of humor that made me laugh ( I am definitely in love with Jack, Hudson's father)...
“Jack, I have a personal question for you, if you don’t mind.” “About six and a half inches . But it’s not size that matters; it’s what you do with it.”
Jack cocked his head. “Did he just growl?”“
Alayna and Hudson are one couple that should not be together yet they are the best thing to have happened to each other. In 'Forever With You', the plot does not drag, no boring bits that are there to fill pages. We finally get closure and learn all of Hudson's secrets, some of these did not endear him to me but he does make up for it at the end and redeems himself in a big way. so all is forgiven! Alayna's vulnerability, raw emotions and struggle not to slip into old habits were hard to read, felt her pain and who could blame her for acting up, Hudson's mysterious actions would have driven anyone into going crazy!
Alayna- I loved Hudson Pierce with every fiber of my being. Even his flaws and imperfections attracted me to him. They made him who he was. And I wanted all of him. I wanted to give him all of me.
We also get a chapter from Hudson's POV, loved it!
Hudson- Whatever it was, there was a definite recognition of her soul by mine. An awareness of something greater that tied us to each other upon first acquaintance.
He was protective, sweet, tender and loving and at times a complete asshole but most of all he was still the same sexy insatiable Hudson!
Hudson- It will be easier to keep her naked on a private beach than at the site of an ancient ruin or in an art museum.
The epilogue was PERFECTION, I'm going to miss these two, Highly recommend!

In book three Hudson and Laynie are continuing to put their relationship back together. They are committed to each other 100%, but things are still a little rocky. They are trying to learn from their past mistakes, and be open and honest with each other. Laynie really grows in her confidence in this book, but is also extremely annoying at times. Sometimes I wanted to just shake some sense into her.
There is plenty of angst, jealousy, and drama. I continue to want bitch Celia to just fall off a cliff. Secrets explode, and their relationship is challenged, but the one thing that never changes is their love for one another. They really have true, deep feelings for each other, and continue to learn they aren't perfect, but are perfect for each other. They figure out they will do just about anything to be together, and learn to forgive and believe in each other. No matter what happens, they always seem to find their way back to one another.
Hudson Pierce continues to be my favorite thing about this series! He is still delicious as ever and I just can't help but love him! The way he fights for her was just swoon worthy! I thought this was a wonderful conclusion to the series, and an absolutely beautiful HEA!
-He was such an expert at handling me in the way I needed, his touch never too gentle, always just the right amount of rough.
-At his own pace, Hudson took me to where I wanted and needed to go. Loving me thoroughly with his body. Loving me entirely without words. Loving me completely.
-I slid my gaze over him. He was so hot. I didn't think I could ever get tired of how delicious his body was. And he was all mine.

5 *'s or more! I am beyond happy with the conclusion for Hudson and Alayna...Laurelin Paige knocked this out!

Yay, total swoon! I freely admit that Alayna Withers is NUTS...she is crazy obsessive, insecure, and often stupid, but for some reason H loves her. Yep, he even says so for the first time, and he continues to say it making my heart swell. She could have easily made me hate this series, especially since her wackiness is over the top here, but who am i to argue with who H loves? Also, Celia Werner is still present, still a complete bitch and she is pure evil, so i felt for Alayna!
So, I put the crazy aside and said YES to loving Hudson and the tale that was woven into their lives. There has always been a sense of unease to this read, a true longing for goodness. I have felt mind f***'d from book one, no wander Alayna was so edgy and compulsive! I only ever felt at ease when they were wrapped in each other...and they do it so damn well

So, finally an answer to the main question I have had in the back of my mind from book 1, was Hudson playing a game? Well, you are going to have to read to find that out! I was a bit emotionally rocked by the answer! I applaud the character transformation as Alayna grew spine and Hudson grew heart. I also applaud he conclusion that was no let down, and I mostly applaud the continued heat and fire that never fizzled from book 1.

Audible Review: I did a re-listen when I bought the audible companion. I still stand on my review below and I think everyone will enjoy this narrator. I had no issues distinguishing between characters. I would buy more audibles with her as a narrator.
Story Review: This series is going into my list of top favorites. The way this story unfolded with all the crazy actions of these equally crazy people just had me completely hooked. I enjoyed trying to figure out truth from all the secrets, lies and sabotage. Plus, there were so many side characters that added life to this story.
While I thought Alayna was way too needy, I still rooted for her. Her neediness was a huge part of the plot and why things went down the way they did. Despite the fact that I probably shouldn't have liked Hudson for his past, I actually loved him! I'm really looking forward to reading his book to get his POV. There were so many times when I wasn't sure of what was real when it came to him.
Celia is the one side character that deserves honorable mention. I predicted I wanted to shove her off a cliff in the first book and that still stands. Wow, what a conniving woman! Normally I hate other women drama, but I think this author did her part extremely well and it's obvious, her role is very necessary to the overall plot.
I highly recommend this series. Just be ready to go on a ride!

January 28, 2020I can't imagine two characters that deserve each other more. Despite all their differences, they have one thing in common: they are despicable.
This whole Dangerous Liaisons scenario might have worked if the H had tried to redeem himself with the people he really damaged. Buying back your heroine with presents and not having a prenup aren't quite the redemption I was hoping for.

I couldn't wait to see how Alayna and Hudson's story ended....Unfortunately, the final book in this series has left me a bit disappointed.
Before I begin with my issues, I want to say that regardless of them, I still couldn't put my kindle down and devoured the book in a day.
Alayna's issues drove me crazy! All the strength I though she had in the first book slowly drifted away with each passing paragraph. She wasn't sharing what she was feeling. She was getting more and more paranoid, jealous and obsessive with her behavior. And her reasoning was manipulative....which is kind of ironic since that was suppose to be Hudson's department. As the book wore on, I found I had a mantra when it came to Alayna...
However, Hudson holds some blame as well. Keeping such a big secret from Alayna, which could have been resolved with a heartfelt conversation earlier in their relationship, was definitely not cool. And due to his fear, he kept dismissing Alayna's concerns and refused to talk to her about very important issues.
With regards to the big reveal: I feel like Alayna WAY over-reacted. She didn't allow Hudson to explain himself AT ALL. If she would have pulled her head out of her ass long enough to hear him out, he would have been able to explain and ultimately apologize, for not telling her sooner. The majority of his actions were easily seen and felt as sincere, but she was so distraught by the "betrayal" that she couldn't see around it. I think maybe I was just fed up with her at that point that I couldn't feel too bad. He had caught her in the arms of a man that they both knew, and had acknowledged, was in love with her. She knew it was wrong to dance with him....and then to even put herself in the situation that he would have the opportunity to kiss her. WRONG!! If she had caught Hudson in that same situation with ANYONE, she would have flipped her lid! But without her distraught behavior, then we couldn't have been set up with pages and pages of Hudson groveling. Ok, rant over.
A large part of my frustration with this final installment could have been solved with dual POV's. Being solely in Alayna's head made me feel slightly OCD myself. But I am happy that we got a glimpse inside of Hudson's head in the epilogue.
Also, sex doesn't solve everything. These two were fucking like rabbits instead of talking their issues out. And the moment they'd start getting somewhere, ooops out comes Hudson's cock and oooops there goes Alayna's brain function. I'm thinking Alayna should have used her rubberband technique when she was overcome with lust. Just a reminder,
Talk things out first. Sex is the reward....not the solution.
Overall, this was a series that started strong, but ultimately lost its luster in increments with each passing book. Though the characters and story frustrated me, I have definitely become a fan of Laurelin Paige's writing. She created memorable characters (loved Jack's dirty sense of humor and Mira was unbelievably endearing....let's not forget crazy bi-curious Lisle!) and an intriguing spin to what could have been a cliched story.
I'm off to find out what Hudson has to say about all of this. I really need to see what was going through his head and why he acted the way he did in certain circumstances. And for the love of God, why was he friends with Celia!!

What a load of clusterfuck moments we had here. This book make me annoyed, angry, frustrated, infuriated and basically wanted to strangle fictional people or maybe I need a really strong drink. I might just end up being Sophia's drinking buddy.
I've read all 3 books back to back and this one was the one with the most revelation and WTF moment. Remember Stacy who wanted to show Laynie a video of Hudson? I'm dying to uncover what was this big secret that Hudson was hiding. Laynie and Hudson was also dealing with this psychotic Celia who was set to destroy both of them. With so much drama going on, I wanted the secret to be something huge and epic. Well, as it turn out it was not as epic as I had imagine, but it kinda make sense and it explains a lot. It makes me wanna reread Book 1 in a different view.
This started off with much sweetness and hotness. Laynie and Hudson was so in love. For once, Laynie wanted to come clean and she insist on transparency and trust. Hudson agreed. They both fully committed to each other.
"This is better than a beginning. This is what happens next."
But it was obvious Hudson was still hiding something. Even though how hard he tried to convince her that he loves her and nothing else matter, to Laynie everything matters. She wanted to get inside him and know everything about him. Well, they said curiosity kills the cat. It might just be true.
Before I tried making this sounds like angst overload, there were lots of hotness and humor in it too. I will repeat once again, their sex scenes were freaking hot, no matter the location.
"Jesus, now I'm hard again."
"Are you kidding me?"
"No. I'm not."
"I saw Celia."
"And now I'm soft."
I thought Laynie would finally morph into this strong heroine in Book 3, but she was still this person who was constantly at edge, paranoid, suspicious and her curiosity might just ruined everything. I know, I know, Hudson was at fault too. But from my perspective as Laynie's first person POV, she was overly suspicious and totally double standard in regards the Hudson. She kept going on and on about Norma and Hudson had to repeatedly reassured her, but it seems like everything fall on deaf ears. Have she seen the way she was with David? Urg! Double standard much?
Nevertheless, I don't why that no matter how much I'm pissed at Laynie, I still rooting for her. If it was any other book, I would have DNF long ago.

For all the frustration I had while reading this series. It was superbly addictive and entertaining. It was a great ending for Laynie and Hudson. I hate them. I love them. We had a nice little epilogue from Hudson's POV. The next book will be on Gwen, Laynie's new assistant manager at the club.
I've read all 3 books back to back and this one was the one with the most revelation and WTF moment. Remember Stacy who wanted to show Laynie a video of Hudson? I'm dying to uncover what was this big secret that Hudson was hiding. Laynie and Hudson was also dealing with this psychotic Celia who was set to destroy both of them. With so much drama going on, I wanted the secret to be something huge and epic. Well, as it turn out it was not as epic as I had imagine, but it kinda make sense and it explains a lot. It makes me wanna reread Book 1 in a different view.

OMG I need more stars…5 isn’t enough. I need like a million stars…a trillion…maybe infinity. Because that’s what Hudson and Laynie are worth. If I thought I loved them before this book, Forever With You just sent me into another realm of love. This series is and always will be one of my favorite’s of all time. Hudson and Laynie…their story…their passion…their emotions…their love…will forever be ingrained in my heart. Now if you have absolutely no idea what or who I am talking about, you must drop everything immediately and read Fixed On You and Found In You, the first two books in the Fixed Trilogy. This is a series that must be read in order…and believe me when I say you have to read it.
Alayna Withers…oh my Laynie girl…each book she has consistently shown me how strong she is. How she is not the sum of her past but is capable of so much more. Her strength surpassed my highest expectations because trust me…she is tested consistently through FWY…and every time I was cheering her on. The simple fact of the matter is…she has her dream. Her dream life…dream job…dream apartment…and most of all dream man. A man that by all accounts should be running from her and her past...but he’s not. He’s crazy about her…all of her, even the crazier parts of her…which kind of makes them this crazy couple and it's so endearing and totally makes me love them even more. But what I admired most about Laynie in FWY was her persistence in making her and Hudson better together…keeping the truth, honesty and trust in the forefront of their relationship…being stronger and better together. Because in all honesty that are so much better when they are together.
Hudson Alexander Pierce…yeah…it’s official…one of my top book bf’s of all time. I claim him for all eternity and he might be edging his way up into the ‘Book Husband’ seat. That’s how much I love me some H. He. Blew. Me. Away. Like all of the love I developed him over the course of the past two books…roll that up into a ball, multiply it by 10, send it to the moon and back and then you might have a tenth of my love for him. Why? Because…ladies and gents – we finally get to see behind the curtain. We finally get to see THE Hudson Pierce…stripped bare with emotions for all the world to see. There are no secrets, there is no wondering ‘ what if he’s lying’…and I ate it up like a bowlful of the most delicious ice cream in the world. Hudson flavored ice cream…with chocolate sauce and a cherry on top. Or maybe that was just my fantasy…oh well – moving on! I always had faith in Hudson and while I may have been wary…I never lost that faith…because I knew he was capable of amazing things. And I was right.
Of course FWY is packed full of all the things I L-O-V-E-D in FOY and FIY. The first one being the never-ending gloriously perfect, leave you panting and begging for more delightfully sinful hot sex scenes. That is part of what makes Hudson and Laynie, Hudson and Laynie. Their sexual connection and physical chemistry is what made me love them to begin with and honestly, what solidifies them as a couple in my mind. That is not to discount anything else that they have…their devotion and feelings about each other are clear in everything that they do but the way they show their love is never more clear than with sex. That’s their strongest bond…their deepest connection and I thrive on it. I make it no secret that I’m a dirty book whore lovin' gal and the Fixed series as a whole has totally and completely satisfied me in that regards…by far. But FWY surpassed that by leaps and bounds…in every book Hudson and Laynie’s love scene’s have always blown my mind but there was just something about this book that wow’d me. Maybe it was because I could almost feel Laynie and Hudson’s feelings about each other…that made it better…more meaningful…knowing the struggle and what it has taken to get them to this point…it made it that much more special.
So…I wish I could say Laynie and Hudson got through all the drama of the last two books to just have the little details to work through on FWY…that there is no stress…no anxiety…no worry…no drama…just focus on some good quality L&H time and it’s easy peasy lemon squeezy. Yeah…freaking…right. There is way too much that has been building up this might be the most stressful of the three books…but for me it was for different reasons. I knew that whatever was on that videotape was going to be bad. I knew that Celia wasn’t going to go away quietly. I knew that Laynie and Hudson had a shit load of stuff to get through before they would get their HEA. And I knew that Hudson might break my heart a little bit. But I also knew that no matter what happened…Hudson could be redeemed. And I was glad I was right about that.
The truth is and was a lot harder to accept and take than I thought it would be. Okay that’s putting it nicely…I was crush. I cried…I hated it…I hated the pain that both of them were going through but my heart broke for Laynie. Her agony is soul-crushing and I felt it. I understood it. I hated every minute of it but, and this is an important but…I didn’t not hate Hudson. I didn’t like what was happening…I didn’t want it to be true…but like Laynie, I think a part of me has known for a while and didn’t really want to admit it. Denial is a wonderful thing. I do think everything that happened from the point that Laynie finds out the truth to the end was absolutely necessary in Hudson and Laynie’s journey. It wasn’t pretty…it wasn’t all fun and games…but it was crucial to getting them where they needed to be.
For the record…Celia is a crazy ass biatch and is going on my list of ‘Evil Wenches in Books’ (joining the ranks of Bekah and Leah)…she is evil and must be destroyed…but there is a particularly awesome scene in which I kind of want to high five Laynie for her actions. There were some things that surprised me…like how much of a part Hudson’s family plays in this book. I absolutely adore Mira to bits…she’s amazing. Another shocker…I was actually really worried about Sophia and her possible role in this book…but her part is actually quite…interesting. Unexpected and yet fitting…and I mean that in the best way possible for a character that I really can’t stand. There are some new players added which I did enjoy very much…Norma and Gwen. They are sisters and each one plays their part in how things…develop, plot wise…and it’s definitely not what I expected. Oh and I might love Liesl more than I really should. She was amazing to Laynie…absolutely fabulous friend and on top of that she made me laugh so many times it got to be ridiculous.
The ending is…just wow. I feel like for those last few pages Laynie and Hudson held my heart in their hands. I knew what I wanted to do…what I wanted Laynie to do…and what I hope Hudson would say and do. I just hoped and prayed that all of that happened and worked out. And it did. But do you want to know the best part of FWY? The mother loving BEST epilogue in the history of epilogues. Ever. You heard it here first. Want to know why? Two words. Well…actually 1 word and 3 letters…Hudson’s POV! BOOM! Best thing ever. OMG…there are no words for my emotions when I realized I was reading his POV…there was squee'ing and clapping and the biggest goofiest grin on my face! How can a POV make me so happy? I don't know but straight up, in Hudson's brain is where I need to move if those are the emotions that are elicited from my body. And then it got better. Because…the last chapter of FWY is not the end. Things are not complete in the world of Hudson and Laynie until you read that epilogue and know the whole story. The epilogue makes the book for me…and for more reasons than the fact that it was in his POV.
I hate that to think that it’s over…that this is the last book that I will read in the Fixed Series. I refuse to admit that Laynie and Hudson’s story is over…not because it doesn’t feel over or complete…because it does…but because I don’t want to let them go. I love them so much…Laynie is fabulous, Hudson is a dream and I want to throw a temper tantrum because I can’t say goodbye. *insert 4-year-old whiney fit here* I will beg and plead for more…especially more of Hudson’s POV ;-) But even if we get Gwen or Norma’s story…or even Chandler – I’ll take the option to fall in love with another Pierce man…I’m sure he can be just as much fun as Hudson. Alright…I’m getting desperate – this is what this series has done to me! Do not hesitate to read this series…it’s amazing! Emotion packed, sexy as hell, fantastic writing and engaging characters...one of the best series I’ve ever read, hands down. Just…yes!

4.5 "2 parts mind game, add in 1 crazy bitch" stars
This is the third book in what was originally the Fixed Trilogy but is now a 5-books series -- and thank goodness! because while I was racing through this book with my anxiety working overtime, I would have been bummed to have to say goodbye to these two hot messes just yet. None of the books in this series are standalones, so if you haven't read Fixed on You and Found in You, do not read this one yet because you will be hella lost! Also, please note that this review contains spoilers if you have not read the previous books.
When we last left Hudson (smoking hot rich dude who plays people in both business and relationships for kicks) and Alayna, aka Laynie (stunning/model-esque night club manager who falls hard, fast, and sometimes illegally), they had weathered some pretty big trust issues with each other but still have a ways to go. While Laynie's problem is rooted in her insecurity, Hudson is extremely possessive. Their respective work places involve members of the opposite sex that each has some suspicion about (H: David seems way too cozy with Laynie... I'll just transfer him to a location a couple hundred miles away... L: Norma is checking Hudson out way too much, and they are working long hours on a "special project," so I will flip out on Hudson for the 400th time this week about this when I "accidentally" check his phone and see he called her late one night.). These are not the poster children for functional relationships. Now add Hudson's crazy ex-but-not-really-an-ex-but-maybe-an-ex-but-maybe-not Celia to the mix who has decided to stalk Laynie (something Laynie herself did at the conclusion of some of her past romantic entanglements) and you have something combustible. Add another one of Hudson's scorned women who has "proof" that Celia isn't an ex, and Laynie is practically certifiable. When she confronts Hudson with her fears, he assures her all is well, but when she finds out he is still hiding something and confronts him, he is unwilling to budge. Is this the end for our mutually obsessed couple? How can they possibly fully trust each other if the cards aren't all on the table? And once they are laid bare, can their relationship survive the fall out?
What I liked:
--- Hudson has been a straight up cold a-hole in most of his relationships, but Laynie has brought the best out of him in this one -- he's borderline mushy at times!
--- Laynie is described as insanely gorgeous, but her psychosis makes her much more human and relatable
--- STEAMY goodness! Not just the presence of it, but the descriptions - not in a graphic way, but if you have ever been in a passionate relationship where you are basically certain one of you will likely inhale the other by accident, you get it
--- Interesting story line that keeps the pages turning quickly
What I didn't like as much:
--- There was more angst than I typically like, especially when
--- Frustrating when they don't communicate
Overall, another delicious read with plenty of steam, twists, crazy moments, and strong plot line. So happy there is a book 4 (and that it is told in Hudson's POV!)!

Also, please note that this review contains spoilers if you have not read the previous books.
When we last left Hudson (smoking hot rich dude who plays people in both business and relationships for kicks) and Alayna, aka Laynie (stunning/model-esque night club manager who falls hard, fast, and sometimes illegally), they had weathered some pretty big trust issues with each other but still have a ways to go. While Laynie's problem is rooted in her insecurity, Hudson is extremely possessive. Their respective work places involve members of the opposite sex that each has some suspicion about (H: David seems way too cozy with Laynie... I'll just transfer him to a location a couple hundred miles away... L: Norma is checking Hudson out way too much, and they are working long hours on a "special project," so I will flip out on Hudson for the 400th time this week about this when I "accidentally" check his phone and see he called her late one night.). These are not the poster children for functional relationships. Now add Hudson's crazy ex-but-not-really-an-ex-but-maybe-an-ex-but-maybe-not Celia to the mix who has decided to stalk Laynie (something Laynie herself did at the conclusion of some of her past romantic entanglements) and you have something combustible. Add another one of Hudson's scorned women who has "proof" that Celia isn't an ex, and Laynie is practically certifiable. When she confronts Hudson with her fears, he assures her all is well, but when she finds out he is still hiding something and confronts him, he is unwilling to budge. Is this the end for our mutually obsessed couple? How can they possibly fully trust each other if the cards aren't all on the table? And once they are laid bare, can their relationship survive the fall out?
What I liked:
--- Hudson has been a straight up cold a-hole in most of his relationships, but Laynie has brought the best out of him in this one -- he's borderline mushy at times!
--- Laynie is described as insanely gorgeous, but her psychosis makes her much more human and relatable
--- STEAMY goodness! Not just the presence of it, but the descriptions - not in a graphic way, but if you have ever been in a passionate relationship where you are basically certain one of you will likely inhale the other by accident, you get it
--- Interesting story line that keeps the pages turning quickly
What I didn't like as much:
--- There was more angst than I typically like, especially when
--- Frustrating when they don't communicate
Overall, another delicious read with plenty of steam, twists, crazy moments, and strong plot line. So happy there is a book 4 (and that it is told in Hudson's POV!)!

I realized after I finished this book, that I haven’t written a review for ANY of the books in the series (not even as casting!), and I think the last one deserves a little something. Not that my reviews are literary masterpieces, but I did love this series, so...here goes.
Book 1 - Fixed on You – Brilliant.
Couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end.
It did remind me of the Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day, but, and I don’t say this lightly, it may be better. ONLY, in that I think Laurelin Paige did better in writing about the mental illness the characters had. It just seemed more believable to me. Don’t hate me
Book 2 - Found in You - Amazing!
Often times I’m let down by a books sequel. But this one, never!
This author, amazing!
Both books ended in a way that you knew there was more to the story, but you weren’t left with a cliffhanger, which is the worst. I think we can all agree, they are the absolute worst.
Writing in this book was again, spot on.
The characters developed even more.
The story got deeper.
You fell in love with Hudson all over again.
It was just MAGIC.
And, with all that, leads me to this book, the final book of the series.
And it was again, amazing.
We’re finally privy to all the dark secrets surrounding Hudson and Alayna, get to see them struggle to find a way to work through everything, and see them grow into better people because of it.
I will say though, the saving grace in each book (for me) has always been Hudson. He is one of the BEST better halves of an H/h pairing I’ve ever read.
First, what I didn’t like…
While there are very few things I didn’t like about the book, that still leaves me with the fact there were things I didn’t like about the book.
One – I did figure out the “twist” or secret. It ended up being somewhat predictable. Which is frustrating, because in the first two books, I had no idea. But for some reason, the writing in this book came apart a bit when it came to the big climax (no pun intended).
Two - Alayna seemed to slip back into her old ways in this book. Which, kind of worked with how the story ended up going, but it was still annoying, made her seem to regress and less endearing…but that’s just my opinion.
Lastly - Hudsons ability to say “I love you” was addressed. And, I didn’t care for how that worked out. Yes, . This, was dumb. I didn’t like it and it’s the only thing about Hudson’s character that annoyed me. Boo.
What I did like...
HUDSON
He’s so dreamy…le sigh.
He is what made each book of the series spectacular.
He was sexy.
He was endearing.
He was perfect.
Were his issues easy to love and perfect, no..but that’s what made him perfect, his flaws. That, and the way he was willing to change and be a better person for Alayna.
Gah, I just love him!
Besides Hudson, I’d have to say the writing and the authors ability to make the story unfold in a (mostly) seamless fashion, was extremely refreshing. I’ve basically given up on CR and NA books lately, because they’re all so similar and the writing seems rushed. This author and series, not so much. I could read these again and again and again…
So, there you have it, the series was brilliant and so was this book.
I hope everyone who reads the series enjoys it as much as I did.
And, I can’t wait to read more about Gwen (spin off from this series) and anything else by Ms. Paige.

I have read, adored, obsessed over, and pimped this series since the beginning. Alayna and Hudson have become one of my all-time favourite book couples. I fell head over heels with these two flawed and broken characters back in Fixed on You. My love has grown and I am so incredibly sad that this is the end of their story. Forever with You is the best in this series by far. This is without a doubt Laurelin Paige’s best work to date, no question. Forever with You, is my first favourite for 2014 and my last favourite of 2013 however you care to look at it. For me it will sit in both categories.
Alayna and Hudson are living together at The Bowery as a couple and working on a healthy, honest relationship. Celia is still breathing, sadly, and determined to wreak havoc and destroy their relationship. That wench is seriously determined and evil. Sophia is still a wicked witch, who spends 24/7 at the bottom of a bottle. However Alayna is finally fighting back. This line made me full on belly laugh. I laughed, because I have been planning Celia’s death myself, since Fixed on You. I have imagined a fiery car crash millions of times taking out this B*tch!
“It was a good thing I’m a pacifist, because otherwise I’d have to start planning her murder.” ~ Alayna
We still have no idea what is on this video that Stacy is determined to share with Alayna. However even with all of this taking place, trust, honesty, and faith in each other’s love and devotion are the true obstacles, in my opinion. I became incredibly frustrated with both Alayna and Hudson in this book. Alayna preaching and pleading with Hudson for complete transparency and honesty. Yet once again she is still hiding things, and putting herself at risk.
"We both have to change Hudson. We have to put everything out on the line, Hudson, as much as possible. We know now that we’re together, thick and thin, right? We have to trust that more than anything. We can’t be afraid of our secrets and our pasts. Both of us. Honesty, open doors, transparency.” ~Alayna~
Then we have Hudson. Not being able to communicate with Alayna, how he truly feels about her, and still hiding his past. The frustration I felt while reading Forever with You, was a huge part of the experience for me. I had so many reactions and emotions while reading this one, I had emotional whiplash. In the end a crippling hangover. I cursed, cried, laughed, swooned, sighed, cried, cursed, threw things, swooned, sighed, purred, and then cried some more. You know how that is right? Please tell me as readers, you have been there?
This is a new beginning for us, isn’t it?” He leaned forward to brush my nose with his. “No. This is better than a beginning. This is what happens next.” ~Alayna and Hudson~
As the story progressed and all secrets and lies are revealed, I broke. I broke with Hudson and Alayna, and I cried. Oh I full on ugly cried. I didn’t think I could finish. I had help and support to talk me off the ledge. I have become so invested and attached to these characters, I may require therapy. Laurlein has sucked me into these stories so completely, I tell myself, “They’re characters, they’re not real, it’ll all be okay. It’ll be okay.”
“It would be so easy – so easy to lean up and let him kiss away my pain and insecurity. His lips on mine could erase all darkness, could soothe any pain. Until that afternoon, I’d believed that like some people believed in their religion – Hudson could fix me, every time.” ~Alayna~
The writing is beautiful and poetic. It’s clear and concise, never redundant. The flow is flawless. The sexy time scenes are incredible, erotic, and tingle inducing. Romantic and written with an emotional hand. WARNING - You will once again need a fan! I never once wanted it to end; I wanted it to go on forever, minus the frustration of course. It is a fabulous and heartbreaking conclusion to Alayna and Hudson’s story. This series is and always will be on my all-time favourites list, and Laurelin Paige will remain one of my all-time favourite authors. If you have not read this series, do yourself a huge favor and do it. The Fixed Series is a must read for all readers who adore emotional, sexy, beautiful love stories. On that note, I will leave you with my favorite passage from Forever with You.

Great conclusion to the trilogy. I just read book 2 & 3 back to back, and I'm still not certain book two was necessary. Hudson's huge confession at the end of book 3... It's a hard pill for me to swallow. It was too big & too late. If it had been confessed earlier I could understand better. I get that it made for a great angst moment, but eeeks, it was really creepy. I'm not sure how to feel about him as a character. Again, if he'd changed earlier, I don't know- the shenanigans with Celia went on way too long. Not in the book, but in his life. Just creeps me out.

HOLY WOW I FEEL WEEPY. I just went through an "anxiety inducing roller coaster of emotions" ... Excuse me for the understatement.
The book was heartbreaking and beautiful, and everything in between.
It began just a couple hours after the last one left off. As it progresses, we find out that the same thing that had stood between them before, is still a giant obstacle on the road. That obstacle is trust.
This time, as they try to work their way closer to each other emotionally, (since they have so got it down physically), it becomes clear that Hudson's trying to hide something big. And guys, by big, I mean ENORMOUS
. . . and so, you go through some fucked up shit
Obviously, Alayna eventually figures out the big secret... and you feel some of this
and this
Finally, you reach the end of the novel, and you can't help but shed some tears
and you read the epilogue ... and swoon
Then you finish reading the last words
and you realize this is the final final ending of the entire series
That basically sums up the epic AWESOMENESS of the book, and really the entire series.
**Hint, hint** to the amazing author Laurelin Paige:
I'm really really hoping there's gonna be a novella of how it is a couple years later into their life; their future, their relationship, where they've gone...
Ultimately, the series was an unforgettable ride and I am SO GLAD to have given the first book, Fixed on You a go.
Seriously, if you haven't read this, go get it. It's worth it.

Laynie's insecurities became a bit much after awhile. She continuously made something out of nothing. I rolled my eyes so much I thought they'd get stuck in my head. To Hudson's credit he never did or said ANYTHING that should have caused such unwarranted reactions from Laynie.
Her compulsiveness began grating my nerves so badly that I would have to put the book down to regroup. I almost DNF. I get that she's broken and her way of thinking is obsessive but she just became so unlikable that being in her head the entire time gave me a headache.
My 3 star rating is all Hudson because had it not been for him I would have absolutely given up on this book. His patience towards Laynie and all her foolishness made him remarkable, granted the secret he kept hidden was a doozy but it was nothing compared to her behavior prior to it's big reveal. Had it been me in a relationship with Laynie I would have dropped her like a hot potato with a spider on it...

I was really disappointed with the problem in this book and its resolution.
For some reason, I can't feel any sympathy for Hudson's plight. I just thought he was too deceitful and that Alayna should have left him long ago.
