This is the second book about two brothers from Crater Lake Montana I loved Carson's story and this one is big brother Luke's story and boy is Dr Luke Ralston a wounded hero, he is guarded and has been hurt badly by his ex-wife and feels that he does not deserve to love and is scared to love again that is of course until he meets feisty trauma surgeon Dr Sarah Ledet who has big issues of her own to come to terms with she needs to find herself and prove who she is and get out from under her parent's wings and this is what has bought her to Crater Lake and meeting Luke again.
This is a fabulous story the banter between Sarah and Luke will have you laughing and the emotion that flows off the pages as these two beautiful people help each other come to terms with their pasts and learn to put it and the loneliness all behind them and live life for the pleasure and love and joy that it brings when two people are meant for each other will have you smiling and bring you so much joy, the setting is just beautiful catching up with Esme and Carson fantastic and this is a story that I highly recommend it has so much enjoyment and drama as two trauma surgeons travel this journey to a HEA. Don't miss this one.

Could he trust the new surgeon Dr. Sarah Ledet and let her in his heart and life? Sarah was trying to get away from her rich family’s influence and make her career on her own merits. Would she settle for the ex-army doc in a small town long term?
CRAVING HER EX-ARMY DOC is a tale filled with emotions and drama. There is an avalanche, bear mauling and so much more. Author Amy Ruttan brought this story to life on the pages where a reader would sympathize with the hero and heroine yet root for them too. They both have to come out from their past issues and forge ahead. And a reader would stay stuck to the pages till the end trying to guess and ultimately find out how it all ends.
Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

Craving Her Ex-Army Doc by Amy Ruttan is full of drama and raw emotions. Luke Ralston lives an isolated life, he doesn’t need drama. He had enough heartache to last him a lifetime. So when Dr. Sarah Ledet saunters into town Luke wasn’t prepared to have his quiet life unhinged. He and Sarah may have their differences but the attraction sizzling in the air between them is real. It is how they move past the hurdles in their relationship as they do their jobs in the medical which makes this story unique and interesting. Medical romance fans will love this story about two broken people carrying the weight of their past on both shoulders.

Luke and Sarah, far from others, on a mountain have a perfect fairy tale setting for them. It is just the attitude adjustment and the love to develop between them that remains to be seen.
Burnt by love before, Luke is reluctant to out himself on line again while Sara has lost the confidence in her abilities as a doctor and her person to think about love or men.
But when push comes to shove, they realise what the important things in life are and in time rescue their perfect world to add on to it.
A sweet romance all over.

Craving Her Ex-Army Doc by Amy Ruttan
Luke Ralston has sworn off women. He served a few tours of duty in the Army and he had been married. His ex-wife did not want to come to Germany where he was stationed and had wanted him to get out the Army. When he did she left him anyway and for Luke's best friend.
Luke lived in the mountains in a cabin and led a lonely life. He wanted it to stay that way. But due to a landslide on the mountain where between him and Dr. Esme Peterson they saved Shane Draven. Luke was a doctor also and he was basically a first responder, tour guide, and someone that did not like to talk about his life. Luke for sure preferred living in the woods, tracking bears, being on the lookout for landslides and avalanches to any other kind of living.
In the hospital where Shane Draven had been transferred and accompanied by Luke he encountered Dr. Sarah Ledet. Their meeting was not without sparks and words. Both having Shane Draven's best interest as a common bond.
Big changes were coming to Crater Lake, Montana where Luke lived and where his brother Carson Ralston operated the Ralston family practice and lived also.
Sarah had left a prestigious job to work for the resort that had come to Crater Lake. As their resident doctor to treat guests that were there in whatever capacity she could.
Sarah and Luke had basically both sworn off the opposite sex however both were so tempted by the other no matter how hard they tried to deny it. Luke had trained Sarah on the life in the mountains. How to handle the circumstances that might occur so that she could best treat her patients.
They kept their desires to themselves until on mild avalanche that had left them seeking shelter in a cabin owned by an old friend of Luke's. They sought warmth in a double sleeping bag where it was skin on skin since their clothing had been wet from being in the snow and the clothes in their backpacks too cold to put on also.
But Luke still wanted to keep his distance and when things got too close for him he went off to the mountains for a few days to week or more and then acted as if nothing was wrong.
Amy Ruttan wrote His Shock Valentine's Proposal which is actually Book #2 in the series Sealed by a Valentine's Kiss.
Both books describe Carson and Luke Ralston who were very different from each other but the same in that they had sworn off women and yet both found love with the new doctors in town.

I thought my heart had been won by Dr. Carson Ralston in the last book of this series ... until we dug into the life of his brother Dr. Luke Ralston in this book, and I love him even more! :)
Luke Ralston left the life that he loved as an Army doctor to come back home to the wife he had waiting at home. Only she found someone she wanted more in his best friend while he was away and divorced him. Now he spends lots of time in the mountains that he loves and hides away from the world as much as possible.
Dr. Sarah Ledet has moved to Crater Lake to be the doctor for the new ski lodge that's about to open up. She's trying to do something that's all her own for once and find out who she really wants to be.
She and Luke love to bicker with each other, but have great respect for the other as well. He sets out to acclimate her to this wicked winter type of life she's walking into so she will be ready when rescues are needed. The more time they spend together, the more they can't resist their attraction that flares when the other is near. Will they both be able to overcome their baggage and see what's in front of them before it passes them by?

Luke Ralston loves his lonely existence and intends to stay that way. After leaving the army he now takes care of rescues. Sarah Ledet is a Doctor and new to the town, she cannot understand why Luke is the way he is but she does have him rethinking romance. He doesn't want anything to do with love since his wife left him for his best friend. Suddenly they find their is a bear on the loose and someone may be hurt so they go in search, However all stops when they are trapped by an avalanche. Waiting in hope to be rescued they find that they both have feeling for each other and so you go on a wonderful journey of two people that realize that somethings are out of our hands....like love. part of her "sealed by a valentine's kiss duo."

"Craving Her Ex-Army Doc (Sealed by a Valentine's Kiss)" by Amy Ruttan is book 2 in this series. I loved the first book "His Shock Valentine's Proposal" and I loved this one too. Dr. Sarah Ledet is the new doctor in town at a upscale resort. Dr. Luke Ralston is an ex army medic who came back to town after a few tours of duty to find that his wife and best friend have hooked up. Both Darah and Luke are hiding and running from their past, but that doesn't change the fact that they are attracted to each other.
