A Mysterious Clock Controls Time. What Happens When It Breaks?

The clock tower is the center of the town of Time. It counts down the hours, minutes and seconds of every passing day. But unbeknownst to the local inhabitants, it is at the center of a great deal more than that. It is the center of the universe and controls time itself. But it is old and beginning to break, sending the world’s inhabitants skipping forward and back through time.

Elian and Jera head to the Rumble Jungle, the Haunted Forest and Land’s End for the replacement clock pieces. Each has been entrusted to ancient and powerful guardians less than willing to hand them over. Can Elian and Jera pass their tests and save the world?

I'm really enjoying this series, love the characters.....I hope I can get the third book fast....because this book leaves off on a cliff hanger(but it's not a bad cliff hanger, just makes you want to get right into the last book of the series........what is that thing coming? Can't wait to find out

This is truly an awesome fantasy story.

So Jera and Elian continue on their fantastical journey in search of the pieces necessary to fix the clock and stop the time skips they were experiencing. This time they find themselves hopping from the rumble jungle to the haunted forest, to land's end and the great plains where they encounter centaurs, the Fae queen, more pucas and the amazing tree people known as tangents who live underground. When underground Elian gets a lovely surprise which shows us his tender side we the reader did not see before and we get to meet Grandfather time himself also underground. Elian is wanted by so many people out to get him but the ascars are the biggest villians in this tale, pedlars of the evil drug known as Gap. During this journey our protagonists get to realise their strengths and weaknesses and to face their inner demons. This the 2nd book is stronger than the first and gets the reader wanting to see the story to its end. A great imaginative adventure if ever i read one!!

Good 2nd part. As the story gets deeper we adventure more, reunite with our Sister and locate the last piece to the clock but still are not able to complete the mission. Enjoying this and love the comments made between Jera and Elian. I still think there's some good (somewhere) in Elian and maybe in Book 3 we'll find it.

Excellent....just great

I read the first book, whichbwas a freebie. Took some time before I started reading; yet after I startedvreading I could.not put it down. The story and adventures were fresh and interesting. The explanation of time skipping was interesting and not overly complicated .
I like Elian and Jera...the witty comments, insults and anecdotes made me laugh.
My one critique is that the books are too short. However, a five star rating is the only way to vote!

Just not very good. The concept is fine, but the details are lacking and the writing is simple. Probably better geared to grade schoolers. The two protagonists have tasks to complete to get time working properly again instead of skipping forwards and back. Sounds promising, but doesn't deliver. Not to sure I will move on to Book 3.
