I got my taste of writing in 1989 while recovering from surgery. I managed to get three chapters completed on my Commodore 64 computer (for those who don’t know, 64 meant 64 K memory) before returning to finish my career in the Navy. Nineteen years later (and several computer upgrades), I picked the story back up. After two years’ worth of lunch hours, I completed my 144,000-word suspense novel, and the writer’s bug kicked in.
It wasn’t until my fourth story when an accidental thought for a romance came to life, and I found my calling. It’s funny how a strange turn of events placed me in the very genre I never intended to write in. My first romance novel was so well received that I had to turn it into a trilogy. I call it my heart series, and I used a small town where my parents grew up as the setting. Locations were from my childhood memory for the main characters. Sappy, huh?
I’m an avid fan of happily ever after, however, I enjoy unexpected twists along the way. So come to eXtasy Books and take a journey with me. Love needs company.

A very enjoyable book with a twist that I totally wasn't expecting. I enjoyed the way the author described each of the characters, they were all very believable and I certainly felt as if I was there every step of the way.

Without giving too much away, the author tackles a sensitive issue in this book and although I have limited experience in this area, for me I felt the issue was dealt with in a well rounded way and I was left feeling optimistic about the future of the main character at the end.

For a well-written romance with a surprising twist, I'd definitely recommend.

I couldn't stop reading this book! Really well written!
Highly recommended!!

Mike is so sweet, it was great to read a love story (without InstaLove) with depth and characters well developed.
I was really sad for Markie. It's heartbreaking to read how she suffered but she finally had her Happy Ever After!!
