More calming and helpful than most self-help books I've read.
I'm dropping out of school to keep bees. How are you?

A remarkably relaxing and poetic book about beekeeping, whilst it might not be the best handbook or instruction manual for beekeeping it will nevertheless become a favourite for anyone with an interest in the field or with any ascetic impulse.

Wasn't sure what I thought this was going to be when I was getting into it. It's a cute book that did inspire me to want bees of my own, not that I'm going to but gives a mindful peaceful insight as to doing so.

The first of many beekeeping books I've read, it is still my favorite. I read it to learn about honeybees prior to starting my first hive. The deep respect and enthusiasm for bees and beekeeping was contagious for me and has proved to be true in my 8 years of beekeeping since I read it.

Expected this to contain less instruction than it did. Might try again once my hives are set up.
