After completing studies in political science, Thierry Meyssan worked for an international association defending civil liberties, before taking up investigative journalism.
During the course of his career, he has been an expert on human rights issues advising the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (C.S.C.E.), as well as editor-in chief of the monthly magazine Maintenant.
An attentive observer of international affairs, T. Meyssan was intrigued by the anomalies in the first photographs released of the attack on the Pentagon, then by the confusion and contradictions in official statements, including those about events at the World Trade Center. He thus carried out his own investigation, which led him from surprise to surprise, each more astonishing and terrifying than the last.

هذا الكتاب لا يعلمك بتفاصيل وأسرار الحادي عشر من سبتمبر، بقدر ما يعلمك كيف يمكنك أن تؤمن مستقبلك المالي بكتاب سيشترى بكميات كبيرة، ويترجم ويطبع بأكثر من لغة. فقط ضع صورا وروابط، مع قليل من الشبهات لتجد تجاوبا من الجميع. مع طرح أسئلة لماذا وكيف وما السر..دون الخوض في لب الموضوع والإجابة بقدر ما هو تشكيك بالرواية الرسمية!
الذين احتفوا بالكتاب غربيا، كانوا يرغبون بسماع قصة أخرى وبتفسير آخر للحدث.، وهذا السلوك له جهموره الذي لا نملك أن نغير من طريقة تفكيرهم شيئا. أما عربيا وإسلاميا، فقد كان المحتفون بالكتاب يرغبون في تأكيد الاستسلام لفكرة أننا أمة مغلوبة، ولا يمكن أن تنتفض في وجه المعتدين وتضربهم في عقر دارهم. الطريف أنه في الوقت الذي كانت تعقد الندوات وتكتب البحوث إجابة على سؤال: لماذا يكرهوننا؟ وكيف نواجه هذا الغضب الإسلامي؟..كان بعض المنهزمين من رهطنا يقدمون التفسيرات الخائبة لما حدث، كي يؤكدوا أن عربنا ، أبناء الصحراء، لا يقدروا وربما لن يقدروا على فعل مثل هذا الحدث الجلل!
لم يمض يومين على الحدث حتى جاءت التحليلات "العبقرية" التي تتحدث عن محاربي ڤييتنام الذين استاؤوا من سياسات حكومتهم الأمريكية، فقرروا الانتقام، إلى الصرب الذين يريدون الانتقام من الأمريكان، جراء ما جرى لهم من قصف في حرب البوسنة وحرب كوسوڤا..إلى المضي إلى ما هو أغرب من ذلك..فقد طلعوا علينا بنظرية انتقام تجار المخدرات الكولمبيين بسبب مطاردة الأمريكان الفاعلة لأحد قادتهم، وتوعدهم بالانتقام لأجله!!...لينتهوا إلى ما هو أكثر منطقية قليلا مما سبق، وهي نظرية التحكم الأرضي بالطائرات.
كانت فترة سوداء بالنسبة لي..فالكل يتحدث وينظر ويسرد على أسماعك ما يظنه سبقا صحفيا، وصله عبر الإيميل..فقد كان وسيلة ناجحة للشائعات بعد انتهاء عصر المنشورات والأشرطة الكاسيت!!..اضطررت حينها إلى تحمل سماع الحماقات في التحليلات. أغرب تلك التحليلات هي أن العملية إسرائيلية موسادية بدليل، زعمهم تغيب ٤٠٠٠ يهودي عن البرج بسبب علمهم بالطائرات!!
٤٠٠٠ آدمي يعرف بخبر الطائرات، ولا يصل الخبر إلى باقي شعب أمريكا!!هذا والله كنا نسمعه من المتعلمين. الغريب أن ناشر هذا الخبر هي صحيفة الخليج الإماراتية..فالصحفيون لم يكونوا أفضل حالا من شعوب المنطقة العربية!
بعد ذلك جاءنا تحليل في أحد المنتديات العربية..وشاع حتى صار يباع مقاله في أقراص مدمجة كي يعم خبره. وهو أن أمريكا ضربت البرجين والمباني بصواريخ..والدليل صورة فيها صورة مجسم صغير يشبه الصاروخ بجانب البرجين..والطائرات كانت وسيلة الأمريكان لتلفيق التهمة للعرب الذين ركبوا الطائرة!!
المضحك أن الصور كانت مأخوذة من موقع ياباني يتحدث عن الأطباق الطائرة اليوفو..والمبكي أن الجميع كان يشكر سعادة المحلل والخبير الجنائي والسياسي الذي طلع علينا بصور الأطباق الطائرة، واعتبرها صواريخ وليست أطباقا طائرة

لا ينقضي عجبي ممن زعم أن القرآن قد تنبأ بأحداث الحادي عشر من سبتمبر..فجعلوا الآية ١٠٩ من سورة التوبة ترمز لعدد أدوار البرج، وبعضهم زعم أن هذا رقم البرج..وشيئا آخر في نفس السورة جعلوه لمكان اصطدام الطائرة (الدور رقم ٨٧)..وجعلوا كلام الله (على شفا جرفٍ هارٍ) المنطقة التي سيقع بها الحدث (جارفن هارن) [استدعت هذه السخافة من أحد العقلاء أن يجلب خريطة للحي بمنهاتن كي ينفي مقولة وجود شارع يدعى جارفن هارن]، كما زعموا أن التاريخ قد حدد في نفس الآية بأنه ١١-٩..وأن عدد الحروف حتى نهاية الآية ١١٠ هو ٢٠٠١..السنة الميلادية للحدث. كل هذا قيل ونحن مضطرون للسماع مع التزام الصمت!.ولمن لا يصدق مثل هذا الخيال الغريب سأعطيه رابطا فيه شيء من الخيالات الغريبة التي كنا نسمعها

العجيب أن أصحاب هذا التفسير لا يستطيعون أن ينبئونا بعملية عسكرية جديدة بناء على حساباتهم..فكل ما يفعلوه هو انتظار الحدث لربطه بغرائب ما أنزل بها من سلطان. وقد رأيت من يطبع مثل هذه الأقوال ويوزعها بين الناس رغبة منهم في الانتصار لدين الله!
خلاصة القول: أن عقول المسلمين تحتاج إلى أن تتحرر من خيبتها، قبل أن يتحرروا من الاستعمار، فالتخلف هو من يجلب الاستعمار..بخلاف النص الشرعي الذي دعا إلى جهاد العدو..فهو من جلب العزة. ولكم في قصة القرية التونسية التي ذهبت إلى شيخ القرية كي يقود ثورتهم ضد المستعمر الفرنسي.٠، فما كان من الشيخ الذي اشترى الفرنسيون ذمته إلا أن قال بأن الولي فلان صاحب المزار نصحه بالاستسلام للفرنسيين حتى لا يهلكوا..وبذا أخذ الفرنسيون القرية بلا دم مهراق ولا سيف مسلول!
الحادي عشر من سبتمبر كانت ضربة للصلف والعنجهية الأمريكية..لا نملك أمامها إلا التأييد أو الإستنكار. أما أن نقول بمعرفة ٤٠٠٠ يهودي بالحدث أو أن الصرب أو الكولمبيين هم من فعلوا ذلك فهذا ضرب من العته والجنون، لا يجعلنا أهلا لمقاومة الأعداء، لأننا ننقاد للتفسير الأحمق بسبب انهزامنا الحضاري.
ولا يعني هذا عدم الإنصات لتفسير تزعمه الصحفي والإعلامي بقناة الجزيرة/ يسري فودة في سلسلة حلقات سري للغاية بعنوان، أجراس الخطر، عن وجود تسهيل وتغاضي متعمد عن إحباط "غزوتي نيويورك وواشنطن"..فالتغاضي شيء، والزعم بأن العملية مفبركة من الألف إلى ياء شيء آخر!

Meyssan came out with American conspiracy theory concerning the perpetrators of 911. But I was confused by the different hypotheses he assumed.
Meyssan supposed that the attacks were for financial profits in the stock market; délice initié. He also listed the controversial news reports issued just after the attacks along with FBI's non upstanding inquiries.
He mentioned Robert Mueller III as the one who orchestrated 911 attacks, indicating that he got appointed by G. Bush jr. one week before the attacks, maybe to justify the forthcoming American aggression.
I was shocked by the internet domain names, that was bought anonymously one year before the attacks, i.e. pearlharborinmanhattan.com worldtradecenterstrikes.com august11attacks.com!!!
He stressed on Bush being aware of the first scenes of the attacks, before any of the news cables had aired any footage of World Trade Center or the Pentagon, alluding that he had watched the attacks live before any one did.
Meyssan wondered why airlines companies, owning the aircraft used in the attacks, showed the passengers list with the names of the "supposed" pirates excluded!
The buildings parts that had been attacked were either partially evacuated 2 hours before the attacks or already empty like the Pentagon.
Tense negotiations with NATO, UN & developed countries were held the next days of the attacks, some countries were skeptical about officials' statements alluding that perpetrators are mostly Bin Laden's militants. Bringing up the ex-Pakistani diplomat's statements, according to Berlin 4 day negotiation about Afghanistan in July 2001, showed that the US was to overthrow Taliban by mid October 2001.
Measures taken by the States as "war on terrorism", mentioned on pages 95:99; i.e. Suspending any lawyer who files a case for victims families, USA PATRIOT Act that violates fundamental rights, Intercepting communications and detaining any suspect without giving him the right to contact his lawyer or counselor!!! Made no difference of any developing country undermining freedom.
Meyssan detailed the far right tendencies in the US army and secret service; stating the 'Northwoods' operation as an example, which aimed at making of Fedel Castro a danger to international community, by perpetrating attacks planned and made by the CIA on Cuban and international territories! An operation plotted by general Lyman L. Lemnitzer, Chief of Staff of the Army, who didn't agree with Kennedy's policy in Cuba, especially when the latter refused to resort to military intervention during the Bay of Pigs crisis. According to Meyssan, secret documents revealed in the 90's revealed that Lemnitzer decided to sabot Kennedy's policy & drag the public opinion into war through that operation, Northwoods.

This was one of the first books that looked at the 9/11 attacks as a false flag attack. Written by French journalist and political activist Thierry Meyssan. He was one of the first people to bring out the facts of the extreme right Neo-Conservative branch of our government, many of whom were on G.W. Bush's cabinet and others that had direct access, including his father, George H. W. Bush.
This book opened my eyes to the fraud that led to America invading the Mid East and it dramatic effects that has led to the disaster that we are still facing.

Demonstrates the problem with deductive arguments on geopolitical issues. Sure, we can make cui bono assumptions and track the hypothetical lines of force emanating from empire, but that doesn't really mean much in the end. An amusing exercise, certainly.

At first sight, the facts are indisputable. And yet, once one goes into the details, the official explanations become embarrassingly contradictory.
THE PENTAGON
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) issued a press release on September 14. Filling in the gaps of General Myers 's memory, NORAD claimed it only received warning of the hijacking at 9:24 am and assured that it had immediately ordered two F -16 fighters from the Langley Air Force base in Virginia to intercept the Boeing. But the Air Force, not knowing its exact location, believed the plane was on its way to commit a third strike against New York and sent its fighters northwards. How can we believe that the U.S. military's radar system was incapable of locating a Boeing within a zone of only a few dozen miles in radius? Or that a big jetliner could elude two fighters launched in its pursuit?
Even supposing that the Boeing managed to overcome this first obstacle, it should have been shot down while approaching the Pentagon. The security arrangements protecting the Department of Defense are of course a military secret, as are those concerning the White House nearby. It is known that the systems were revised after a series of incidents that occurred in 1994, notably the landing of a small airplane, a Cessna l 50L, on the White House lawn. We also know that these anti-aircraft defenses include five batteries of missiles installed on top of the Pentagon and fighters stationed at the Presidential airbase of Saint Andrews. Two fighter squadrons are permanently based there: the Air Force's I 13th Fighter Wing and the Navy's 321st Fighter Attack Wing. Equipped respectively with F-16's and F/A-18's, they should never have let the Boeing approach the Pentagon.
A point to remember when speaking about the destruction caused by the plane is how the Pentagon is structured. It’s in the shape of a pentagon composed of concentric rings. Meyssan writes: Despite its weight (a hundred tons) and its speed (between 250 and 440 mph), the plane only destroyed the first ring of the building. If one superimposes the plane's outline onto the satellite photo below, [photo provided for in original] it can be seen that only the nose of the Boeing entered the building. The fuselage and the wings remained outside. The plane was stopped dead, without its wings having struck the facade. There is no visible trace of any impact except that from the Boeing's nose. We should thus be able to see the wings and the fuselage outside, on the lawn in fact. While the plane's nose is made of carbon and the wings, containing the fuel, can burn, the Boeing's fuselage is aluminium and the jet engines are built out of steel. At the end of the fire, it would necessarily have left a burnt-out wreck. If you refer to the Associated Press photo (on the front cover of this book), you will clearly observe that there is no plane. So, although officials, members of Congress and military personnel all claimed to have seen the aircraft fall, no one saw the smallest piece of the plane, not even from the landing gear: there were only unidentifiable metal fragments. As for the video surveillance cameras in the Pentagon parking lot, they did not see the Boeing either, at any point of time or at any angle.
Numerous people, who were in their cars on the highway running alongside the Pentagon, heard the sound of a plane passing overhead. This sound was shrill, like that of a fighter aircraft, not a commercial air liner. Some said they saw this aircraft. They then described it as a small plane that might have contained eight to twelve persons, not a Boeing 757. Danielle O'Brien, an air traffic controller at Dulles airport, described to ABC News the behavior of this aircraft, as seen on radar. It was flying at a speed of around 500 mph and was heading at first for the protected airspace surrounding the White House and the Capitol, then veered sharply towards the Pentagon. For O'Brien and her colleagues, there was no possible doubt: given its speed and maneuverability, it could not be a commercial airliner, but only a military aircraft.
THE WORLD TRADE TOWERS
The professional pilots we talked to confirmed that few amongst themselves could envisage performing such an operation and completely ruled it out in the case of amateur pilots. Along with two other terrorists, he took courses there in electronics, without causing comment about himself or letting his extremist convictions become known. Upon arriving in the United States, he joined his accomplices in Florida, took pilot courses in the town of Venice and even paid for several hours on a flight simulator in Miami. Anxious to disguise his fundamentalism, Mohammed Atta went as far as to frequent the Olympic Garden in Las Vegas, the biggest topless cabaret in the world. This peerless agent was believed to reached Boston on 11 September by a domestic flight. Given the short time between the two flights, he appears to have lost his baggage in transit. In searching them, the FBI found training videos on piloting Boeing aircraft, a book of Islamic prayers and an old letter in which he announces his intention to die as a martyr. Atta was identified as the head of the commando team by a steward who made a call with his cellular telephone during the hijacking and indicated the leader's seat number: 8D. Should we take such information seriously? One would have to accept that Mohammed Atta spent ten years carefully hiding his real intentions and that he must have adhered to strict procedures in communicating with his accomplices to escape the attention of the intelligence services. Nevertheless, at the last moment he left behind a bagful of clues. Even more ridiculous, the FBI claims to have dis covered Mohammed Atta's passport intact in the smoking ruins of the World Trade Center!
The international press commented at length on the profiles of the nineteen terrorists designated by the FBI. The only problem with these identikit portraits is that they are based on a list which itself is subject to dispute. The Saudi embassy in Washington has confirmed that Abdulaziz Al-Omari, Mohand Al-Shehri, Salem Al Hazmi and Saeed Al-Ghamdi are all alive and well, and living in their own country. Waleed M. Al-Shehri, who lives at present in Casablanca and works as a pilot for Royal Air Maroc, gave an interview to the Arab-language daily, Al-Qods al-Arabi, based in London. Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Saudi Foreign Minister, declared to the press that, "It has been proven that five of the persons named in the FBI's list had no connection with what hap pened." And Prince Nayef, the Saudi Minister of the Interior, declared to an official American delegation, "Until now, we have no evidence that assures us that they are related to September 11. We have not received any thing in this regard from the United States."

"Who profits from the crime?" Concerning that precise subject, in the period following the attacks it was found that maneuvers characteristic of "insider trading" had taken place in the six days preceding September 11. In the case of American Airlines (owner of the plan that crashed into the north tower of the WTC and of the one that was said to have crashed into the Pentagon), its stock fell by 39%. From this, one can deduce that a plane belong to the Dutch company may have been chosen as the target for a fifth hijacking.

On 15 October, it held a video-conference where the national authorities presented their interim reports. It appeared that the illicit gains added up to several hundred million dollars, constituting the "biggest case of insider trading ever committed". Strangely indeed, the FBI gave up on exploring this line of inquiry and IOSCO closed its investigation without resolving the affair. It would nevertheless be easy to trace the capital movements because all of the bank-to-bank transactions are archived with two clearing organizations. One could accept that, given the importance of what was at stake, that it would be possible to break banking secrecy and determine just who the happy beneficiaries of the 11 September attacks actually were. Up until 1996, the setting-up of the SBG's subsidiaries were prepared in Lausanne by its councilor, the Nazi banker Francois Genoud, executor of Dr. Goebbels's will and a donor of funds to the terrorist Carlos. The SBG is indissolubly linked to the Wahhabite regime in Saudi Arabia, to the point of having been for a long time the one and only contractor for the construction and management of the kingdom's holy places, Medina and Mecca. Similarly, it won the majority of building contracts for U.S. bases in Saudi Arabia and for the reconstruction of Kuwait after the Gulf War.

After the defeat of the USSR, the USA completely lost interest in the fate of Afghanistan, which they left in the hands of warlords and the mujahiddin they had recruited from throughout the Muslim world to fight the Red Anny. Osama bin Laden supposedly then ceased to work for the CIA and recovered these fighters for his own purposes.
But did bin Laden really break with the CIA and become an enemy of America? From 1987 to 1998, the training of Al-Qaeda's fighters was supervised by Ali Mohammed, an Egyptian officer incorporated into the United States military. At the same time, Mohammed also taught at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, where he trained members of the most secret network of US influence, the "stay-behind', as well as officers of the US Special Forces. In light of the security regulations of the American secret services, which call for constant surveillance of its agents, can one believe for a single instant that Ali Mohammed could alternate between a military base in the USA and Al-Qaeda camps in Sudan and Afghanistan without being immediately unmasked? The widely publicized arrest of Ali Mohammed at the end of 1998 does not suffice to hide the fact that this "stay-behind' agent trained Al-Qaeda's fighters and t..hat therefore Osama bin Laden continued to work for the CIA at least until 1998 ! How can one not see that Osama bin Laden legend is a cover story fabricated out of whole cloth by the CIA?
The links between the CIA and bin Laden were not severed in 1998. Seriously ill, he went for treatment from 4 to 14 July 2001 at the American Hospital in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). "During his hospitalization [he] received visits from several members of his family and other important persons from Saudi Arabia and the Emirates. During this same stay, the local representative of the CIA, who is a well-known figure in Dubai, was seen taking the main elevator to visit “Osama’s room" the French newspaper Le Figaro revealed.
Since the Cold War era, Washington has deliberately supported Osama bin Laden, while placing him on the FBI's most wanted list. While mujahiddin are implicated in armed insurrections on behalf of the United States in the Balkans and the former USSR, the FBI has the mission to bring him to the US and to carry out a war on terrorism. By all appearances, it's not only a matter of contradictory actions, but a policy of lying to citizens, because since the USSR-Afghanistan war the CIA has supported international terrorism through its secret operations" writes Professor Michel Chossudovsky of the University of Ottawa.
THE PENTAGON
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) issued a press release on September 14. Filling in the gaps of General Myers 's memory, NORAD claimed it only received warning of the hijacking at 9:24 am and assured that it had immediately ordered two F -16 fighters from the Langley Air Force base in Virginia to intercept the Boeing. But the Air Force, not knowing its exact location, believed the plane was on its way to commit a third strike against New York and sent its fighters northwards. How can we believe that the U.S. military's radar system was incapable of locating a Boeing within a zone of only a few dozen miles in radius? Or that a big jetliner could elude two fighters launched in its pursuit?
Even supposing that the Boeing managed to overcome this first obstacle, it should have been shot down while approaching the Pentagon. The security arrangements protecting the Department of Defense are of course a military secret, as are those concerning the White House nearby. It is known that the systems were revised after a series of incidents that occurred in 1994, notably the landing of a small airplane, a Cessna l 50L, on the White House lawn. We also know that these anti-aircraft defenses include five batteries of missiles installed on top of the Pentagon and fighters stationed at the Presidential airbase of Saint Andrews. Two fighter squadrons are permanently based there: the Air Force's I 13th Fighter Wing and the Navy's 321st Fighter Attack Wing. Equipped respectively with F-16's and F/A-18's, they should never have let the Boeing approach the Pentagon.
A point to remember when speaking about the destruction caused by the plane is how the Pentagon is structured. It’s in the shape of a pentagon composed of concentric rings. Meyssan writes: Despite its weight (a hundred tons) and its speed (between 250 and 440 mph), the plane only destroyed the first ring of the building. If one superimposes the plane's outline onto the satellite photo below, [photo provided for in original] it can be seen that only the nose of the Boeing entered the building. The fuselage and the wings remained outside. The plane was stopped dead, without its wings having struck the facade. There is no visible trace of any impact except that from the Boeing's nose. We should thus be able to see the wings and the fuselage outside, on the lawn in fact. While the plane's nose is made of carbon and the wings, containing the fuel, can burn, the Boeing's fuselage is aluminium and the jet engines are built out of steel. At the end of the fire, it would necessarily have left a burnt-out wreck. If you refer to the Associated Press photo (on the front cover of this book), you will clearly observe that there is no plane. So, although officials, members of Congress and military personnel all claimed to have seen the aircraft fall, no one saw the smallest piece of the plane, not even from the landing gear: there were only unidentifiable metal fragments. As for the video surveillance cameras in the Pentagon parking lot, they did not see the Boeing either, at any point of time or at any angle.
Numerous people, who were in their cars on the highway running alongside the Pentagon, heard the sound of a plane passing overhead. This sound was shrill, like that of a fighter aircraft, not a commercial air liner. Some said they saw this aircraft. They then described it as a small plane that might have contained eight to twelve persons, not a Boeing 757. Danielle O'Brien, an air traffic controller at Dulles airport, described to ABC News the behavior of this aircraft, as seen on radar. It was flying at a speed of around 500 mph and was heading at first for the protected airspace surrounding the White House and the Capitol, then veered sharply towards the Pentagon. The links between the CIA and bin Laden were not severed in 1998. Seriously ill, he went for treatment from 4 to 14 July 2001 at the American Hospital in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). During this same stay, the local representative of the CIA, who is a well-known figure in Dubai, was seen taking the main elevator to visit “Osama’s room" the French newspaper Le Figaro revealed.
Since the Cold War era, Washington has deliberately supported Osama bin Laden, while placing him on the FBI's most wanted list. While mujahiddin are implicated in armed insurrections on behalf of the United States in the Balkans and the former USSR, the FBI has the mission to bring him to the US and to carry out a war on terrorism. By all appearances, it's not only a matter of contradictory actions, but a policy of lying to citizens, because since the USSR-Afghanistan war the CIA has supported international terrorism through its secret operations" writes Professor Michel Chossudovsky of the University of Ottawa.

Para ser un libro considerado complotista, tiene buenas referencias que el autor mismo rescató en caso de que estás fueran borradas, lo cual terminó pasando. Lo que diré y quizás puedo equivocarme, es que este es un periodismo de investigación que no estamos habituados a leer en los mass medias actuales, puesto que se ha venido uno acostumbrando a la propaganda y al denuesto de los enemigos de Estados Unidos con fines geopolíticos. La gente no cree que haya intereses o agendas ocultas dentro de nuestros gobiernos, porque la certeza puede ser una prioridad antes que el miedo de encontrarse con la verdad y no saber qué hacer con ella, sin embargo hay hechos que se escriben o se delatan antes de que sucedan y la gente siempre optará por la certeza: es que es una casualidad, no hay nada malo ahí. Pero tengamos en cuenta algo: si dejamos de dudar y aceptamos la realidad como la presentan o como la vivimos, corremos el riesgo de dotar de un saber a otros sujetos que no somos nosotros, y entonces, habremos perdido nuestra libertad sin oponer resistencia.

ONE OF THE FIRST "REVISIONIST" BOOKS ON 9/11, BY A FRENCH JOURNALIST
Thierry Meyssan (born 1957) is a French journalist and political activist, who has investigated the extreme right-wing, as well as the Catholic Church (e.g., Opus Dei). He has also written the book 'Pentagate,' arguing that a missile, not American Airlines Flight 77, caused the destruction at the Pentagon.
He states in the Introduction to this 2002 book, "this official version does not stand up to critical analysis. We will demonstrate that it is nothing more than a cover-up. In some instances... our questions remain for the moment unanswered, but this is no reason to go on believing the lies put forward by officials."
He asserts that "only a missile of the United States armed forces transmitting a friendly code could enter the Pentagon's airspace without provoking a counter-missile barrage. This attack could only be committed by United States military personnel against other U.S. military personnel." (Pg. 28) He draws a parallel between 9/11 and the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, when "a large portion of the civil servants were given a half-day off work so that the car bomb explosion only killed 168 persons. This was an attack we now know was carried out by military personnel belonging to an extreme right-wing organization which itself had been infiltrated by the FBI." (Pg. 37)
He suggests that the creation of the Office of Homeland Security is leading to "a takeover of civilian life by the military and the intelligence agencies." (Pg. 92) His ultimate conclusion is that "the attacks of September 11 were masterminded from inside the American state apparatus." (Pg. 139)
Meyssan's book influenced David Ray Griffin, whose own books on 9/11 now far surpass Meyssen's in detail; but Meyssan's book contained the earliest statement of some positions later adopted by many 9/11 "Truthers."

Governments should not be trusted and there is something fishy about 9/11. However, it's books like these that make me believe the official version more and more. Poorly written and arguments presented are even worse. The author identifies any minor discrepancies and based on them often makes significant conclusions without presenting any facts that support his claims.

Para el alcance que da como expectativa el título el libro está muy bueno e incluso va más alla, ya que además del supuesto avion que se estrelló en el pentágono estudia todos los aviones que se estrellaron el 11 de septiembre del 2001 en los Estados Unidos. Afirma mediante una buena documentación los supuestos motivos reales y los verdaderos causantes de los ataques, con una hipótesis de ataque interno bastante sostenible sobre todo por el despliegue de fuerzas para un ataque contra Afganistán antes de los ataques. Este ataque debio haberse realizado como siempre por motivos económicos ya que las multinacionales necesitaban pasar un oleoducto por Afganistán y el Talibán no se lo iba a permitir, llevando con esto un ataque para quitar a los talibanes del poder, asi que nada de esa basura de un ataque para liberar al pueblo Afgano. Tambien se dan pruebas de los distintos grupos económicos involucrados en esto, con la participación de altos cargos del gobierno de los Estados Unidos para esa fecha. Además, se dan pruebas de la vinculación de Osama Bin Laden a la CIA para el 2001, lo que desmiente de que ya no era ayudado por la CIA desde los 90. Un libro bastante bien documentado que pone a pensar sobre la mentira con que el gobierno de Estados Unidos comenzó una guerra por el oro negro.

Str. 61~ ker gre človek le redko v vojno, ne da bi si prej na svojo stran poskušal pridobiti BOGA, so po 11. septembru ameriške televizijske studie najprej zasedli pridigarji in šele potem vojaški strategi. Vsi so pojasnjevali napad kot BOŽJE sporočilo, ki Ameriko poziva k spremembam.
