Soulfate
Soulfate is book 2 in the Soulmate Series. It can be read as a standalone, however to fully appreciate the story I do recommend reading Soulkiss (which was amazing by the way) first.
As a little girl, Sonia always loved listening to her grandmother’s stories about the Gods and Goddesses. Little did she know that these weren’t just myths, but real stories of her family. As a modern-day archaeologist, Sonia is looking for that perfect guy. Strong, handsome, brave and with a body that will make you swoon. But he only exists in the ancient mosaic that she has been tasked to restore. That is until one day an accident, and some of her spilled blood brings, the scene from the mosaic to life and sets her up for and eye opening adventure that will test her limits, show her true fate and bring her true happiness.
Cosmos is brave, strong, has a body to die for with a cocky attitude. When he is set free from the mosaic in to the modern world his one thought is to kill whoever got him into this mess. After all, that’s what warriors do! Little does he know that he has met his match in the fiery redhead whose blood and destiny is what has set him free.
This Greek Mythology novel is packed full of action, adventure, mystery, deceit and steamy scenes that will melt your e-reader in your hand. There are Gods, Goddesses, Warriors, and Oracles all battling to prove that love will always win.
There are so many feels in Cosmos and Sonia’s story. I laughed, I cried, I even laughed until I cried, I fell in love and at times wanted to slap the always infuriating Cosmos. I found myself biting my nails at some points, wondering how he and Archaeus would survive the horrors that were sent their way. This was one of those books that had me turning pages so fast. I completely devoured it, and this is not normally a genre that I am a fan of.
I loved the fact that we got to see more of Archaeus and Arianna from book 1, they play a great supporting role in this book. We also are introduced to Hades whose story has me intrigued and hoping that he gets his own book really soon! There is also the ever-present Apollo, who you will absolutely love to hate, and Aphrodite because what would a love story be without the Goddess of Love?

This was a definite 5 star read for me, and I’m looking forward to more from the Soulmates series!

After reading SoulKiss I couldn't wait to get my hands on SoulFate! I was not disappointed. R.J. Thompson does the Greek world justice by bringing the Gods and Goddesses to life as living beings. I'm not going to lie - I love to hate Apollo and you will too! I'm hopeful he gets his own book.
Cosmos is a complete Alpha, very stoic, but oh-so-sexy. Sonia is the perfect complement to her man with her fiery attitude to match her hair, and her own strength as well. I loved the tension and build up of Cosmos and Sonia's relationship (romantic and sexual!)
If you have read the first book, SoulKiss, you will be happy to know you still get to see familiar faces all the way through!
Completely action packed - SoulFate will have you holding your breath all the way through to the end. Five stars for the second book in R.J. Thompson's SoulMate Series. I cannot wait for the next!

Where do I begin?
I have been waiting for this book since I read J Thompson's debut novel, Soulkiss, and I finally got it and it was exactly what I expected and more. I really wish I was able to rate this higher than the 5 stars it allows. Yeah! To me, this book was just that good. I laughed, I fell in love and both anticipated and dreaded the ending. No one likes to end a good, scratch that, GREAT book!
Cosmos and his Hellcat, Sonia, were beyond amazing and I cannot wait for the rest in the Soulmate Series

Thank you J. Thompson for another fabulous read!

Sonia and Cosmos reluctantly join together to make up the second book in the SoulMate series by RJ Thompson. It is written as a stand-alone book that you can just pick up and read, but there is some extra spark in the book if you read it after SoulKiss.

Sonia is a modern woman in the UK, but her family bloodline calls to something much more ancient. After watching her best friend, Arianna, fall deeply and instantly in love with her soul mate, Matthew who is also known as Arcaeus, she feels as if she will never find real love. At the moment, the only that draws her notice is a mysterious Greek warrior in a mosaic.

Cosmos is an all alpha male with enough pride to choke a stable full of horses. Condemned to Tartarus fighting demons by Apollo, he will forever move in slow motion while slaying an endless abyss of demons. He never imaged he would be set free, nor could he even being to believe that he would find his soul mate. Even though he is frustratingly (or deliciously) alpha male, he does redeem himself and shows his slightly less stubborn true colors because Sonia is more than enough of a Hellcat to keep him reigned in.

Throw in some interfering and scheming Greek Gods with too much time on their hands, and there is an action packed adventure to go with all the steamy romance. Not to mention the attention catching bonus material in the back of the book that will have you begging RJ Thompson to hurry up and release the third book of the SoulMate series. This book is great for anyone who loves everything I just mentioned. If you are looking for a dry and boring book, then this is not for you.

The only issue I had with the book was there were still some editing issues that were obvious, but overall I would say the book earned a 5/5 stars!

Book 2 in Soul Mate Series

Sonia, a conservation archeologist, grew up to stories of gods and goddesses at her grandmother's knee. Tasked with preserving a priceless mosaic, she is fascinated with the magnificent warrior portrayed on the tiles.

Cosmos is trapped in Hades in an endless battle after crossing Apollo. He and the monsters he battles are released into the modern world. A warrior and protector to the core, he has to decide where his heart really belongs.

Such excitement! From gods and goddesses, warriors, demigods, demons, feisty confident women, sexy courageous men, and an adventure for Love.....seriously this is an absolute recipe for an outrageously great story! Sonia is strong, spunky and loyal. Cosmos is sex-on-a-stick, compelling and courageous. The trials these two go through are exhilarating! The passion brimming is hot-and-heavy, until it explodes, and whew these two burn the house down, LOVED it!! This book is the second in a series, but it can be read alone. But, the first book is excellent as well and adds so much to the story, and I highly recommend it. This is a fabulous read for anyone who loves an exciting romance.

I read the first book Soulkiss and very much enjoyed it so it made me want to read this one too. So Reading this book I wasn't sure what to think until I could not put it down. The main characters Cosmos and Sonia are amazing and strong. Cosmos is a strong tall warrior from a whole different time. Sonia is a strong fiery woman needing love and understanding. I may not know much about the Greek Gods but I have to say I loved them in this book series. Aphrodite is amazing and Hades does some surprises in this book I would think no one would have expected. R.J. Thompson is doing a great job pulling people into these lovely books. She had me crying and yelling several times while reading.

Don't forget the best friends of Sonia and Cosmos, Mathew AKA Arcaeus and Arianna. They are from the first book SoulKiss a wonderful book. Both books are a must read get ready for your emotional rollercoaster.

Soulfate, the second in the series is (again) phenomenal.
I LOVE Aphrodite, I think she's amazing for using her gifts for bringing soul mates together.
Apollo is a complete tool! - I despise him! Doing everything he can to ruin people's lives for his own personal gain.
I love the fact they're living in the UK, and Sonia listens to boyzone (my secret obsession).
Arianna and Arcaeus are so good together! It's great that they're involved in this book too.
I'm seriously swooning over Cosmos! He's an Alpha male at its finest! Brooding, big scary man who is really a pussy cat when it comes to Sonia.
Sonia is (as Cosmos describes her) a true hellcat..
The descriptions, thought and obvious research that's gone into both books are incredible.
The twists are amazing and kept me on my toes! I absolutely loved it!
This is without a doubt one of the easiest 5 stars I've ever given!

This is Sonia and Cosmos' story... I can be read as stand alone but is better when read after SOULKISS!!!

I may be biased but this is just as good or even better than SoulKiss!!

Cosmos is stuck in the underworld... in fact stick in a mosaic in the Manchester Museum that Sonia works in... He is released from this place is to the modern world and finds himself battling creatures of ancient times along with his old friend Arcaeus...

There are twists and turns and a humdinger of a twist which I never saw coming!!!

Sonia is Fated with Cosmos and it seems they will be together one way or another!!

We have a sleek preview of book 3 which I can't wait for...

I realised I actually love Greek Mythology... and can't wait for more!!!!

They did not expect to find a soul mate until the Gods throw them together.

There is plenty of action and romance in this second book in the SoulMate series. Each book is written as a standalone but it is better to read them in order to get the most enjoyment out of the series.

Sonia has a family history that leads her to Cosmos. He has been condemned by a God and never thinks he will be free. He is arrogant.and Sonia doesn't accept that kind of behavior. They are a very passionate couple.

I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

Once again I was on the edge of my seat hoping for a happy ending. R. J. Thompson did not disappoint. I find myself eagerly waiting on the next installment. Even the God of the Underworld needs love too. Will Aphrodite be able to aid him in his quest? I for one can't wait to find out.

This is book 2 in Thompson's series Soulmate and again, I love the mythology aspect of this romance! Thompson has a way of bringing these characters to live and you find yourself completely vested in their lives! While this is book 2 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone but really - if you love Greek mythology and romance you will love this series - you just can't help it! A modern day woman who meets her alpha male and the Greek gods and goddesses you will love and love to hate that meddle in it all!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I absolutely adored this second book in the SoulMates series and getting a better insight into Sonia. Her work at the museum leads her to a fascinating mosaic which her love for will lead her to something much more...

Excerpt:
She has an undeniable urge to be near the mosaic, one that she had had since the day it had arrived in the museum...one for a one on one with HER warrior.

But with as with the Gods, good and bad prevails, love and hate battles it out quite literally. When Apollo creates a stir which affects Aphrodite to the extent of losing her strength and powers, the mortal world will be in danger, as well as the ones she protects...

With Incredible insights into the Greek Mythology I was hooked just like with SoulFate. Desperate for the fate we know is around the corner for the pair of fiery and emotional duo; Sonia and Cosmos.

Excerpt:
Sonia was his, the gods had seen fit to tie their fates. Their auras pulled at each other in a bid to merge, to mate...fate worked in its own way and would not be denied...
His Hellcat.
His soulmate.

But can Cosmos protect her? With Gods against him and demons too it would be a struggle. But with his friend Arceus by his side (yes you get more of that yummy man and his Soulmate too!) we see them thriving in the modern world protecting their women...

Excerpt:
Trust in your warrior...for your souls are meant to be together and you are stronger together than apart. Believe in yourself.

Another brilliant instalment by RJ Thompson. This author never fails at writing something refreshing and new that never fails to be unique, smart and sexy all rolled into one!

SoulFate was fantastic! I absolutely love Greek mythology, so this was right up my alley. It does seem like an abrupt ending, but that's about the only bad thing I can say about this book. It was exciting, creative and I had no clue what was going to happen next. I wish more books were written as well as this one was. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and loved the characters! I want to read more about the other characters that weren't in the limelight as well. This book is a must read!

After watching her best friend find her soul mate, Sonia realizes all that she is missing. A new project at the museum takes over her spare time, but she can't get over the man trapped in the mural she is working on. He keeps her attention, and makes her want a meaningful relationship.

Cosmos was trapped in a mural, forever fighting his enemy. When he smells her, it's the only peace he gets, that is, until she sets him free. When the blood of the last oracle sets him free, as well as the demons with him, he has an important decision to make. Follow his heart and love the woman of his dreams, or kill the Oracle so nothing else can be freed?

SoulFate

Wow this author doesn’t disappoint. This story just grabs you and you can’t stop reading. I love that you get to see Arianna and Arcaeus again. Though this time I felt like their love was a little too much to take at times. They were just a little too lovey dovey for me.

Sonia is a strong woman who doesn’t know who she is yet. But once she finds out it explains a lot for her. Cosmos is her warrior, protector and soulmate. There is an instant attraction between them that neither want to admit. But with time and some help from others they stop fighting what is meant to be. I really enjoyed reading about their journey to find each other.

As for the Gods, I have always had a thing for Greek Mythology. So to read about them from a different point of view is refreshing. I will have to say that there was a part in the story that had me laughing so hard that I couldn’t go on reading. I don’t know if the author meant for this to be funny or not, but I loved it. All I’m going to say is “love plums”. I have never heard this and so loved it. It just fit right in the story. So thank you author.

Soulfate follows on from SoulKiss...In this book it is mostly all about Sonia. Sonia has seen Ariana her best friend fall in love with her Greek god who is now reincarnated as Matthew, and she realises that her life is empty. She works in the museum where she spends most of her time. Her boss gives her a new job, because someone has bought the Greek mosaic. Her life is crazy, because her dreams, and visions are of this man. It isn't until she cuts her hand on the mosaic that the story starts. Her blood free's cosmos and Greek beasts that had been locked in the mosaic.

It is book 2 in the series, but i would say you would need to read book 1 to get a better feel for this book. If you like your Greek mythology and romance then you will like this series.

After reading Soulkiss I wanted more and was happy to find there was more!
This book is mostly about Sonia. She saw how her friend fell in love with het soulmate, a reincarnated greek god. This made her realise how empty her own life really is. Then her boss at the museum gives her a new job, a greek mosaic......Her life is crazy, she's been having weird dreams about the same man and there he is on the mosaic! When she cutes her hand on the mosaic and accidentally spills it on there the story unravels and things come to life.
You can read this book all on its own but I would recommend you read Soulkiss first. It makes this one so much better!

This was a fabulous sequel to SoulKiss! I would absolutely recommend reading that one first. While you can read this one without that, you will have so much more understanding if you read that one first!
We finally got to see some Zeus action and the meddling gods may have actually been helpful. I was glad to see Cosmos and Arcaeus reunited and to see how Arianna and Arcaeus get along in the modern world. It was interesting seeing all of the ancient Greek stuff in a modern setting. The commentary from the gods was so entertaining! I certainly enjoyed this book! I look forward to reading Hades' story.

Given this book for an honest review.

This was my first book in the Soulmates series and I enjoyed reading about Cosmo and Sonya.

This book focused on the Greek mythology of the Gods and the Oracle. We end up with Cosmo and Sonia who represent a demigod and the new Oracle.

They must right a wrong the god Apollo caused on earth and on Olympus. Their journey will not be smooth and they will learn about secrets in their past.

I look forward to reading the next book "SoulDeath" Hades' story.

The relationship between Sonia and cosmos is very romantic and you still get to read about characters from the first book.
Can you imagine the scene from a mosaic coming to life in front of your eyes, amazing just like the book.
If you love reading about mythological times you will love this book!
