I have enjoyed writing stories, songs, and poetry since I was a child. Much of my writing relates to nature or stories that challenge the characters to overcome insurmountable odds. Like my daughter, Shannan, whom the character "Ksana-Kai is based. She overcame the odds of surviving two brain surgeries to remove tumors. Her courageous example is what fueled my desire to write poetry stories symbolizing her heroic journey.
For recreation, I enjoy the company of friends and family; I like to travel (plan to go to Paris soon); enjoy running; weight training; vegetarian; hiking, health nut, et al.
My favorite expression is a Korean one: no regrets, which basically means to live life without feeling sorry for the things you didn't attempt to do.
I am a junior high language arts teacher, 10 plus years. And I share much of my poetry with my students in hopes of inspiring them to reach their potential.
Thanks for reading my bio.
All the best to you,
Lewis Jackson
PS: Learning French? Many of my books are dual language in French and English. :)
