A gorgeous rendition of the classic Prussian children's story that was turned into a world-famous ballet. Reading this with Miss Five was a treat - she loved the Christmas setting, all the toys, and the story of a little girl, a Nutcracker, and a Sugar Plum Fairy in the land of sweets. Charming and delightful, with lovely illustrations.
