The Taming of Red Butte Western

Rate this book
"The Taming of Red Butte Western" by Francis Lynde is a story about courage and love and how uneasily civilization rested upon places where neither the people nor the land wanted very much to change. Taking place in the American west and using the United States railway system as its centerpiece, this book shows the persistent strife of people versus the elements, and how, no matter how much you try, you can't fully dominate the elements.

A story John Wayne would have been perfect for.

Beautifully described story of a less than tough man out in the West overcoming adversity and hatred. Well done Francis
