A short and to the point kind of book, but one that is full of a lot of helpful advice. While this book may not have a lot of reviews or attention, I definitely wouldn’t discourage anyone from reading it. For me personally, it was a reminder of some important pieces of advice and I benefited from that. The author focuses on 5 “codes” that he uses as pillars for success, happiness and positivity:

-Learn to Love Negative Experiences
-Meet Your New Drug Dealers: Laughter & Exercise
-Zoom Out to See the Bigger Picture
-Family & Friends Before All Else
-Tales of a Time Traveller (this section focuses on analyzing the outcomes of the decisions we are making now)

Overall, a lot of the advice are probably things most people have heard before. However, many of the concepts are worth getting reminders about. I think a lot of things can go overlooked but should be part of a healthy mindset every day. I found myself highlighting a lot of things that were relevant in my own life and advice that will help me in the areas I’m working on the most. I think there is something positive that any reader can take away from this. The author of this book focuses a lot on the things he personally values and uses a lot of personal stories to back up his points which makes it an engaging read that’s easy to follow. Simple advice, but ideas that can help anyone begin a path to positivity and success.

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway.

There are some great points in this book and it is a fairly easy and quick read. The reason for the 4 stars is there are a number of grammatical errors which I think should have been caught prior to the book being printed.

However that being said, this is a great book to help you get yourself onto the right track and living your life the way you want to.

Will definitely be putting some of the tips into practice in my day to day life and the activities are definitely worth reviewing from time to time to help keep you on track.
