IN SEASIDE DREAMS…
Bella Abbascia has returned to Seaside Cottages in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, as she does every summer. Only this year, Bella has more on her mind than sunbathing and skinny-dipping with her girlfriends. She’s quit her job, put her house on the market, and sworn off relationships while she builds a new life in her favorite place on earth. That is, until good-time Bella’s prank takes a bad turn and a sinfully sexy police officer appears on the scene.

Single father and police officer Caden Grant left Boston with his fourteen-year-old son, Evan, after his partner was killed in the line of duty. He hopes to find a safer life in the small resort town of Wellfleet, and when he meets Bella during a night patrol shift, he realizes he’s found the one thing he’d never allowed himself to hope for–or even realized he was missing.

After fourteen years of focusing solely on his son, Caden cannot resist the intense attraction he feels toward beautiful Bella, and Bella’s powerless to fight the heat of their budding romance. But starting over proves more difficult than either of them imagined, and when Evan gets mixed up with the wrong kids, Caden’s loyalty is put to the test. Will he give up everything to protect his son–even Bella?

***

IN SEASIDE HEARTS…
Jenna Ward is vivacious, spontaneous, and confident–except when she’s around the man who stole her heart years earlier, strikingly handsome, quiet, and reliable Pete Lacroux. After years of trying to get his attention and overwhelmed from dealing with her mother’s new cougar lifestyle, Jenna’s giving up on Peter–and is ready to explore other men.

As the eldest of five siblings, with an alcoholic father to care for, boat craftsman Pete Lacroux always does the right thing and has no time for a real relationship. He’s looking forward to seeing his friend Jenna, a welcome distraction who’s so damn sexy and so painfully shy that she equally entertains and confuses him.

When Jenna picks up a hard-bodied construction worker, jealousy ignites Pete’s true feelings, and he’s powerless to ignore the desires for Jenna he never realized he had. But Pete’s not the quiet guy he appears to be, and his life is anything but conducive to a relationship. Can Jenna handle the real Pete Lacroux–the sexiest, most passionate alpha male she’s ever seen–or will she crack under pressure? And can Pete reclaim the life he once had without tearing apart his family?

***

IN SEASIDE SUNSETS…
Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she escapes the prim and proper symphony to vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, and determine if she is living life to the fullest or missing it altogether.

For the first time since developing the second largest search engine in the world, billionaire Jamie Reed is taking the summer off. He plans to work from the Cape and spend time with his elderly grandmother–and falling in love is not in his plans.

From the moment Jamie and Jessica meet, the attraction is white-hot. Once-overly-focused Jamie can think of little else than sensual, smart, and alluring Jessica, and Jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. But when Jamie’s business encounters trouble and his attorney and best friend intervenes, he proves that the brown-haired beauty is too distracting for Jamie. To make matters worse, it appears that Jessica might not be who she says she is, turning Jamie’s life–and his heart–upside down. In a world where personal information is always one click away, Jamie must decide if he should trust his heart or watch the woman he loves walk away.

It was ok

Cookie cutter romances. Read the first one & the other two are almost identical. Sure, she changes the body types of the female love interests... but after that... same ole, same ole. All the women hook a finger in the boyfriend's waistband, they all put their hand on his chest over his heart... The boyfriend always leans his forehead against the girl's forehead... they ALL kiss cheeks profligately, at the drop of a hat... they ALL consider their love interest to be the most perfect person of all of humanity... all the females want rough sex... (will the 50 Shades trend never die???) They all use pretty rough language, although not as bad as some authors I've read.

All I can say is MEH! I won't be reading any more of this author's offerings. I can't abide by someone who slavishly follows trends & doesn't have an iota of imagination or inventiveness. You're catering to mediocrity at best.

I have read/own these books individually-not in this set.

From the very first sentence of the first book, I was hooked!! Melissa has created a gang of friends who stick with each other regardless of time passed or their quirks and hang-ups. Like good friends do, they open their circle to new friends and welcome them like they've been in the group from the beginning. Each one finding that special someone--whether it be a new character or even an existing friend. They are everything we all wish for in a friendship and will have you laughing out loud!

You will LOVE this set!!

***Seaside Dreams
5 stars
I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Seaside Summers book 1: Seaside Dreams: Bella and Caden by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
I haven't laughed so hard in months! An unexpected and embarassing first meeting results in a steamy attraction at first sight romance for practical joker and high school teacher Bella with new comer single dad Officer Caden Grant who have both moved to Seaside to make big life changes. Tied in with the Remington series through author Kurt Remington, this complex and well balanced romance is set at the Seaside cottages in Wellfleet, Massachusetts and contains teenage angst, the mystery of neighborhood robberies, the wonderful grandmother Vera, and the summer antics of the close knit 20 something best friends Bella,Jenna, Amy and Leanna.

*** Seaside Hearts
5 stars
I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Seaside Summers book 2: Seaside Hearts by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
Poignant but with a happy ending this steamy novel takes place the summer after book one and contains the heavy topic of alcoholism and the continued lives of the four Seaside girls. With the interference of their friends,OCD inflicted elementary art teacher Bella and handyman/boat refurbisher Peter finally move past their parental worries, acknowledge their attraction and in the process bring healing to their families. There are also hints at a romance for Amy and Tony.

*** Seaside Sunsets
5 stars
I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Seaside Summers book 3: Seaside Sunsets: Jamie and Jessica by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
A nice balance of humor, angst and steam can be found in the latest rocky romance featuring the antics of Bell and the other Seaside Sisters. Returning to Seaside to spend his first full summer off in eight years with his grandmother Vera, Boston's millionaire OneClick developer Jamie Reed has an unexpected first meeting with burned out and technology challenged Boston Symphony Orchestra cellist Jessica.

*** Seaside Secrets

An emotion packed second chance at love story featuring relationships after miscarriage, the continued pranks of Bella, Amy facing her past and fears, Tony's learning a mystery concerning his father's death and multiple weddings. On the eve before Jamie and Jessica's wedding and tired of waiting for Tony, 32 year old Amy contemplates selling her accounting and logistics company to move to Australia.

*** Seaside Nights
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Seaside Summers book 5: Seaside Nights: Sky and Sawyer by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
A poignant story of courtship, dealing with loss and finding both a new direction and fulfillment. Set the summer after all the original Seaside crowd married, this story contains an eclectic mix of topics such as post concussion brain injury, Parkinsons, sexual orientation plus an ironic attraction at first sight romance. As Tattoo artist Sky achieves her business goals, she feels the loss of a personal life until some chance meetings and stray phrases from the P-town Poet lead her to professional boxer, rugged guitarist and songwriter Sawyer Bass. The romance is complicated by Sky's dislike for violence and Sawyers worry over his career, his health, and his father's health.

***Seaside Embrace

I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Seaside Summers book 6: Seaside Embrace:Jana and Hunter by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
A frenemies, reformation of a playboy and an in-laws to more steamy romance with errotic scenes. Metal artist Hunter and Dance instructor/boxer/waitress Jana hook up despite their siblings advice. However, despite their mutual desire to remain unattached, they find themselves continually drawn to each other causing Jana to question her feelings and Hunter's purpose. Side stories include the progressive lives of the Seaside Group including their infants, a twist to the Bella and Theresa pranks, and Hunter's coworker's rocky marriage.

***Seaside Lovers

I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Seaside Summers book 7: Seaside Lovers: by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.
A complex steamy story of loss, family and love mixed with the loving interference and acceptance of the Seaside ladies. A year of corresponding turns to love for the third Lacroux sibling, metal artist Grayson and California actress Parker.

***Seaside Whispers

A fitting conclusion to the Lacroux family Seaside romances containing a wonderful group of friends, some humor and a lot of steamy scenes. Dissatisfied Princeton professor Matt takes a sabbatical in Seaside to write a book, celebrate the triple wedding of his siblings, help try to save his father's hardware store, and to have a closer relationship with both his family and the woman he fantasizes about, his father's employee, single mother Mira.

Seaside Summers by Melissa Foster immerses the reader in a delightful journey through the vibrant world of love, friendship, and personal healing. Set in the charming coastal town of Seaside, the novel follows a group of close-knit friends who navigate their personal and romantic challenges amidst the serenity of the beach. The author’s ability to evoke the beauty of the ocean, the warmth of summer, and the emotional depth of her characters creates a story that feels both soothing and rich with emotion. Foster’s writing style is fluid and accessible, allowing readers to easily connect with the protagonists and their evolving relationships.

The strength of the book lies in its portrayal of realistic emotional growth. The characters experience not only romantic developments but also personal revelations, which adds depth to their journeys. Each character, while facing their own unique struggles, represents different aspects of love and healing, offering readers a well-rounded view of the complexities of human connections. The friendships between the women are particularly well-developed, showcasing themes of loyalty, support, and understanding that are crucial to personal growth.

However, the novel does have some weaknesses. The plot, though heartwarming, can sometimes feel predictable, following familiar romantic tropes that are common in the genre. For some readers, this might detract from the excitement, as the twists and turns of the story are often foreseeable. Additionally, while the romantic tension is well-written, the conflict resolution might feel a bit rushed to some, leaving less room for deeper exploration of the challenges the characters face.

In conclusion, Seaside Summers is a beautifully crafted romance that provides an enjoyable escape into a world of emotional depth and coastal charm. While it may not break new ground in terms of plot originality, its emotional resonance, heartwarming characters, and uplifting themes make it a satisfying read for fans of contemporary romance.

Book 1: Single father Caden is intrigued by the rule-breaking Bella the first time he sees her carrying out a prank. Bella is drawn to the well-behaved cop, even though they don’t seem well matched.

I enjoyed this. I liked mischievous Bella and solid, dependable Caden. The teenage Evan added an extra dimension to the story, and it was a pleasant, straightforward romance.

Book 2: Jenna is loud and confident, except when around Pete. His presence always leaves her shy and tongue-tied. Pete doesn’t know what to make of Jenna. He much prefers the loud version she is with everyone else. But when Jenna gives up and starts seeing someone else, Pete realises that quiet or not, he doesn’t want to let her go.

This was another good story. I liked Pete winning over Jenna, and his background also brought a little more depth to the plot. As always, I loved the connection between the seaside friends, especially the girls.

Book 3: Jessica has lived a sheltered life and all she knows is life within the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Unsure if she wants to continue, she’s taking the summer off to reevaluate her life. She never expected to meet someone. Wealthy Jamie has taken the summer off to spend with his friends and also his grandmother. From the moment he meets Jessica, the sparks fly.

I did like Jamie, and Jessica was really sweet. I really like the dynamics between the different friends that we see in each of these stories. Jamie’s friend Mark was possibly a little overdone with his nastiness. But I did enjoy the book.

Overall, this was an excellent read. Especially when I’d picked it up for free! The stories are steamy feel-good romances without over the top problems (no one is being murdered, abducted, stalked). It’s all about the romance. Although they are steamy (if you like clean romance, these are not for you), plenty of attention is given to developing an emotional connection too.

Good things, tons of love, come in threes

Seaside Summers (Love In Bloom Books 1-3) by Melissa Foster features three beautifully written books of her Love In Bloom series. Each couple, featuring a Seaside Sister, is unique. While some of the characters have known each other since childhood, the romance, circumstances and journeys are individual.
Each romantic journey has tension, ups and downs, plenty of heat and especially heart. All of the characters are wonderful and equally endearing in their own ways. Bella and Caden are adorable opposites, yet wonderful together. Jenna and Pete, also seem to be opposites, but not really once Pete really sees Jenna. And finally, Jamie and Jessica are destined, in the right place at the right time and so perfect, yet they both bungle things up, caught up in their instantaneous connection, unintentionally leaving certain details out about themselves with each other.
The setting of Seaside is beautiful and perfectly ripe for love to blossom and Melissa Foster delivers with tons of heat, plenty of heart and all the feels.
Overall, this beautiful boxset is perfect as a beach/summer read or for escaping the winter blues and blahs. Either way, escaping to the Cape sets these Seaside Sisters up for Love to Bloom and each HEA was just as wonderful as the other.

Seaside Dreams
The gang is back for another summer at Seaside, where the summer is hoy, but the guys are hotter.

Bella is the rule breaker, strong willed and self-sufficient. Caden is a police officer. Who lives by the rules. But will doing that have him miss out on the love of a lifetime.

Will opposites attract? If I were a betting person I'd say the odds are in Bella and Cade's favor.

Their mutual attraction for each plus Caden's teenage son bring them have brought them even closer.

Family is a central theme in this this story. Whether that family is by blood or friendship.

Enjoy this book. I know I did and recommend to any new reader.

Seaside Hearts
A beautifully told friends to lovers story.

Jenna Ward has always loved Pete Lacrouix, but family obligations have prevented from seeing Jenna as anything more than a friend. And then one day it happens.

For those who love a beautifully told love story, this book is for you.

Seaside Sunset

Jamie Bell, hot shot software developer. Jessica Ayers, musician. Both so focused they don't see the world around them.

💥 BAM! One white hot roller coaster ride that shows them a different side to life where you stop and smell the 🌹and find that there is more to life.

I highly recommend

This was a fun series to read with likable characters and good story lines. All three books feature the "Seaside Sisters" as they call themselves, Bella, Jenna, Amy and Leanna, and their men Caden, Pete, Tony, Kurt and Jaime. They've all been together for years and are the best of friends - looking out for one another and helping each other find their happily ever after. There is no jealousy among this group and, as the reader, you feel the love that they really care for each other. Each story is a little different and you get to a better picture of each "sister" from the way they interact with the men in their lives. The description of the area where they live makes you want to book your next Summer vacation for the town of Seaside. These stories are not deep and make it a perfect trilogy to take with you on your next trip when you just want some light reading. If you can't get through all three books, don't worry. Each is a stand alone book, but if you like the first one, you will want to find out what happens to the rest of the group.

I originally read the sweet version of Leanna and Kurt's story and really like the group of childhood friends that still found a way back to Welfleet MA every summer. I wish that I continued with the sweet version as the steamy version lost much of the character development and story with the addition of all the sex scenes. I normally don't mind open door, but only if it advances the plot or characters.
I did really like Bella and Caden. They were well developed and nicely included Caden's son. Jenna and Pete's book was odd. There was no development of Jenna other than her simple OCD and that she liked books and rocks. I cannot believe that she is an elementary art teacher as that classroom is nothing but chaos and mess. I think a HS science teacher would fit better with her collecting and classification bent. Pete's character and family were actually much richer characters. The third book in the box set is Jessica and Jamie. Both of these characters were more developed, but I ended up skimming almost 1/2 of the book as the sex scenes were very boring.

Fairly good, but it strikes me how formulaic romance novels are. Book one is yet another one of the "flavor of the month" stories. Single dad with kid meets single woman.(Bella and Caden). The only twist is the guy is a cop and the kid is a troubled teen. Book two is about 2 people who have had an unrequited love for each other and how they finally end up together (Pete and Jenna). Book 3 is the story of a highly rated musician who goes on hiatus from her job with the BSO and falls for a billionaire computer geek and vice versa. (Jessica and Jamie). There are a few twists in this one. The thread running through all 3 is the friendship of a group of women who vacation together on Cape Cod every summer. Lots of very explicit sex in these books so keep them away from teens and young children.

Given that this is a series, the characters are well developed and interesting. They share everything, and I mean everything. They seemed nosey and interfering. I came away with the feeling that these women would not be my choice in friends, but to each their own.

Watch love pursued by three sets of friends and learn about the chunky monkey.

This is a boxed set consisting of Seaside Sunsets, Seaside Hearts, and Seaside Dreams. The stories follow three sets of friends, with at least one of each pair having been part of the original group of friends whose parents each originally owned one of the cottages that were built on what was once an estate on Cape Cod. Each story followed a different pair through their individual lives, whether it was drama, happiness or sadness. We see the different couples become one, all with HEA's. Strong story lines, well written, classic Melissa Foster.

Fun book to read about fun days at the Seaside. Sounds like the girls are very good friends. They had lots of fun with there pranks. I can’t recommend this book to any one as none of them have WiFi. The story line was good and liked that all the characters were in each book. Evan was the only child and seemed to enjoy being with all the adults. Now please let me erase your book and let me do some more reading. I don’t appreciate being blocked from reading more books.

Because I liked it. Having all the characters in all the three books made it easy to keep interested and easy to keep them apart.

Holy Moley - What a Story!

Ye gods - I am a firm favourite of the contemporary erotic love story, but Ms Foster has pulled out all the stops on this one!

It's a heartfelt love story, with an adorable gang of friends and so many sweet and funny interactions.

And it's hot - really steamy, but never descends into porn-like descriptions. The lovers enjoy one another in some detail, but it's lovemaking in every sense of the word. So many of the episodes had my panties soaked.

This joins my favourites on my digital bookshelf, and I have already downloaded another half dozen of Melissa's books to read.

Highly recommended for lovers of the small-town setting!

Most fun books since... Forever! I have personally experienced the fun crazy girlfriends that are in these books. They may be fictional but they are also wonderfully close to life at it heights and depths, all wrapped up in the kind of friendships some people only dream of having. I will say here that if you want friends like that be a friend like that.
These books make me laugh out loud and cry like a baby. I even read the more hilarious parts to my husband. Our story is like one of these books and we have been married for 27 years. Life is sometimes much like fiction.

True Friends

Book one with Bella and Caden touches on abandonment and loss of loved ones.
Book two with Jenna and Pete touches on heartache and demons of the soul.
Book three with Jamie and Jessie touches on the loss of one's self when they are trying to live up to others' expectations.

The stories are feel good with a dash of seriousness, fun and love. You may not be able to pick your relatives but you can pick your family~

Seaside love ❤

The boxset contains three stories set in small towns. Throughout these stories, the characters experience love, romance, tension, doubt and laughter, as well as friendships and family ties.
Despite my interest in the story, I found each plot to be a bit drawn out.
This author has written several books that I have enjoyed. However, these stories just didn't appeal to me as much. They were still worth reading despite the long plots.

This was a fun series of books to read! I enjoyed the characters and the location of the story!! I want to become a summer sister! These books are a great read for any time of the year - whether you read them in the winter and pretend you are "chunky dunking" in the warmth or you read them in the summer and actually give "chunky dunking" a whirl! A fun, fast, feel good read!

I am on the fence about this series. Part of the problem is I wanted to like the books a lot more than I did. The characters and even the stories had so much potential, but I found myself setting my kindle down shortly after picking it up when I was reading this series. I never felt true connection between any of the characters.

Need some fun summer reading? Don’t look any further. Fun on the beach and at the pool with your quirky, talented girlfriends and hot guys to keep you warm on a cool summer’s evening. I find them slow to start, but the delicious and steamy endings make up for it. What a magical place to spend the summer.

Box set of three books with great stories

Each book covered one couple as they found love. The best is that the girls are all best friends, three girls and the only boy-Jaimie. The last book actually covers Jaime and his love. The next book covers the last girl-Amie. I could not recommend them more highly than you must read these.

First 2 fun but book three was not my cup of tea..

So disappointed in book 3. It read a little like a porn novel. The first 2 books were light, fun and delightful. Also, if the author used the term “fisted” on more time , I’ll scream. Sorry but book three was a huge disappointment..
