You are invited to the wedding of Kalista Redford and Jared “Hammer” Caufield…
Former Army Ranger and retired professional MMA champion Jared “Hammer” Caufield can’t wait to marry the woman of his dreams and love of his life, Kalista Redford. Unfortunately, planning the perfect wedding isn’t as easy as it seems. From venue changes to dealing with petty gossip bloggers to family interference, they have enough problems to keep them busy before they say “I do.” But this bad boy isn’t about to let anything get in the way of making Kali his wife.

the only book i read the couples vows in. i love kali and Jared so much it kills me. such amazing love I cant even ugh!!!! the other characters I love too but I was too invested in this couple I skipped to their wedding.
Listened on the RMR Podcast and loved it! I think I would like it more if I had read the previous books in the series as this kind of jumps right in--but I really didn't mind and I fell for the characters!
Excuse me now as I go put the rest of the series on my TBR!
Title: A Breakers Wedding Author: Laurie Roma Format: audio Narrator: Gavin McAllister Genre: Romance, Military, MMA Standalone: Yes Part of a Series: Part of Breakers Bad Boy series of interconnected standalone stories POV: Jared “Hammer” Calista (Callie) Steam Level: Steamy 5/5
I listened to this on the Read Me Romance podcast. Apparently there is an ebook version of this book with expanded content. I loved this story and will definitely be checking out more of this series and this author. A Breakers Wedding was sweet, funny and strawy. I love the alpha, overprotectiveness of Jared. It was over the top, sweet and funny. This was such a cute book that I just had to sit in it for a moment with the warm fuzzies.
I loved this one! It is basically a giant epilogue for the first book in the series. And I’m all for more time with Kali and Jared! We get a little drama to keep it interesting and of course some scorching spicy scenes. Also really liked ‘seeing’ the characters from the other books again. I’m glad the author took the effort to write this one!
Safety: No OW/OM No cheating No separation / no third act break up
love this book, we get a wave from a lot of other couples which was fun and will prompt a reread. Hammer and Kali‘s book has always been my favorite and them my favorite couple so this is just a great icing on a perfect cake.
Loved the short and sweet and spicy read about Jared and Kali’s wedding dramas with family and friends standing in support plus the surprises keep coming…
How many hiccups can happen to this poor couple. They just want to get married!!
I really enjoyed listening to this book on the RMR podcast and it makes me want to read more in this series.
Jared's fame is causing some issues when he is trying to get married. This determined groom is set on marrying his bride and nothing will stop in his way.
How happy I was to return to Breakers and meet the gang again. Especially the “hammer” and his fairy. Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling in you’re belly to read about a couple standing together and a community closing in to keep them safe and happy.
Their story is one I have no problem reading over and over again for just they reason it gives comfort and happiness. To get the follow up? Yippy! Feels like Laura is coming in to her reading groove again. Applaud her writing and the continuing effort to gift us with books even though lives gets in the way sometimes and knocks you down. Was it a long book? No. Did i want it longer and more detailed? Yes! But that is just me saying more! So, how do you rate a book? Based on its length? Depth? Characters? Or the feelings the book gives you, good or bad? Or all of the above and more? Its a struggle you know. I have read books that gives you the creeps, the feeling of throwing the book in to a wall and never ever read it AGAIN. But. It was a good book for even today I’m thinking about it. That got a five star review. Books like these? Do you measure them agains others in the series or let them speak for the story itself?
I gave 4 stars but it’s more like 4.5 stars based on yes it was short and it read as a longer epilogue not a continuous story. But I think the thought was just that, a moment in time to again drop in and great the gang in Breakers and tie the bag together.
Hammer and Kali are so close to saying I do but someone is out to cause them grief. Can the have their dream wedding inspite of the hate? I love that Ms. Roma gave us this moment in time. Hammer and Kali started us off in this world so I loved seeing them have their special time. I loved seeing the culmination of Kali's dream come true. I loved seeing the love Hanmer gives her sustains even as jealousy bites at their heels. I loved seeing how friends have morphed into family. I loved seeing that even after their happily ever after the love keeps flowing. I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read by Laurie Roma and cannot wait to see where she will take us next.
Yay!!! I absolutely loved this catch up with one of my favorite couples, Jared and Kali. I have 3 ARCs on my kindle that I should've picked but once I saw this released, I needed to read it. This isn't a really long book, we get the catch up with different characters and see the love that Jared and Kali still have. I am behind thrilled this story was written.
Great followup book continueing on from Hammers fall. The stress of a wedding as well as dealing with nasty relatives makes good reading . You meet all the regular guys and gals from the original series and meet new people who will get the own stories in the future i hope.
*Read Me Romance Audiobook* Aparentemente esta historia entra en una serie más grande pero igualmente tuvo mucho sentido y me encantó escucharla. Fue muy dulce y me tuvo con una sonrisa en la mayor parte del tiempo!
This was really sweet, but reads as more of an extended epilogue rather than a short story like most of the other RMR podcast audios. Definitely makes me want to read Callie and Jared’s journey to HEA and I’ll be looking up this author’s back list!
Wonderful ending to Kali and Hammered romance! I loved how the family was dealt with and I look forward to seeing more about Nikita, Adam and the rest.
What a wonderful way to end Jared and Kali's story. I absolutely loved it. Looks like the next one is going to be very interesting, Nikita always intrigued me. Can't wait
I don’t like to give spoilers on the books that I read. I believe the blurb on the back is enough for you to decide if you will read the book or not. If you choose to read, enjoy!
