This book man, oh my god. Definitely one of the best I've read. Okay so I was actually forced to read this book the first time, my sister said she'd read 'Lola and the Boy Next Door' if I read 'Confessions of a Gay Disney Prince'.

I didn't have extremely high expectations because it's a fan fiction and it's written in script format which I'm usually not a big fan of. You eventually get used to the script format and it works for this story, it makes it unique and easier to read in a way. I came into this book with absolutely no expectations and came out so impressed and just wow.

Like it's amazing, I've read this book twice now and I've cried both times. I mean, it's not hard to make me cry but it's different because the reasoning behind my tears was different reading this book than it is watching sad movies. You see this book is written in script format, basically all you get is character dialogue and occasionally their emotions in parenthesis. All you have available to hold on to are these characters and what they choose to say, you don't get to see what they're thinking or how they're feeling, you can't see what they're not saying which adds to the angst and the need to read on to find out more because you don't already know how they're feeling, not until you see that voice crack, that wince, that fond smile, that unexpected laughter. This book is character driven, the characters are so well written, they're what make it into an amazing story. You read about them, you smile and laugh and cry and scream and get embarrassed with them, you get attached to them. This is what made me cry, I felt attached to the point where I felt what they were feeling, I didn't cry because bad things were happening, I cried because of their reactions, because reading them being in pain made me feel that pain. I think I formed an unhealthy obsession with Harry Styles because of this book if I'm quite honest. In the book and in real life. Anytime Harry was sad I felt that elephant on my chest feeling and oomph.

Anyways, this book is amazing. It's extremely educational, the author knows that they're talking about, it has author notes explaining the reasoning behind a couple plot lines because every single paragraph in this book has a purpose, that's something I learned the second time reading, they add author notes explaining things so you don't get lost; there's also a chapter question at the end usually, to get you thinking about things happening in the plot, and it's really interesting to read the comments and see how everyone gets something different from the story. This story is so emotional and wonderful and just so beautifully written. After I finished reading it it felt so life-changing and impactful and just amazing overall. I completely adored it and definitely 100% recommend it.

This book raised my standards in love, life, and books. Though it is fanfiction, I honestly think this book is well-written—especially since it was in script format, which complemented the story and added more flavor to it.

I love the mixture of angst and humor and love and healing, it was one hell of a rollercoaster and it's a ride I will not hesitate to jump into again and again.

made me cry multiple times without me having to force my tears to fall down.

rating it: 100000/5, definitely on my top 5 reads of the year.

I remember reading this book about 3-4 years ago when Wattpad was still a free platform and when I WAS OBSESSED with one direction. Turns out someone stole this story that it was original from A03. FUCK WATTPAD

This book will travel you to a non so magical work that is called Disney. It's beautifully written! It will make you laugh, cry, feel goosebumps, and everything at once.

Here's the link on A03: my link text

may 2019: when i finished this book, i was speechless. it's one of the most beautiful love stories i have ever read. the characters were so deep and interesting and the relationship between louis and harry was so well written. everyone should read this book at least once.

september 2020: rereading because school started again and I feel like shit so I need my safe place.
I finished it on December 25th and it felt so wonderful to relive this story a second time. Forever my favourite fanfiction.

Mostly read this one for nostalgia, and yknow what, any fanfiction that counts on goodreads is gonna get counted towards my fucking goal because I need all the help I can get AND THIS WAS 1500 PAGES AND THREE WEEKS OF READING 😀 anyway I laughed I cried and I was reminded why I don’t recommend this fic often. It’s heavy, but the heavy stuff is well done 85% of the time. Plus this is the first book in WEEKS to keep my attention this well. That said it is 2 AM goodnight

The character development in this story is unmatched by any other. You can still find it for free on Wattpad. You will find this story absolutely heart-warming, Larry shipper or no.

It's one of those stories filled with emotions, and the fact that I could really relate the characters to Louis and harry makes it beautiful and believable.
P.s real Larries would probably like it.

I remember logging on to Wattpad to read this book (to get a break from life, ya know?), and as I'm going through my library, I come up with nothing. First I thought it was a mistake on my part and I scrolled too fast down my library, but no! I couldn't find it! So I start panic searching the authors name and nothing pops up. Devastated I go on Google and type in the name of the book (to look for something, anything), I find something; Archive of Our Own pops up! I don't know this website, but I continue anyways. I click the link and BAM, it's there... my first REAL Larry love child. Of course I download it and save to my onedrive, because I am NOT letting it out of my sight again!

Just going off the top of my head. I'd say I've read Confessions about 12 times. I find myself thinking about this book and/or it's beautifully written characters during my everyday life, (seriously, I've grown quite attached. Send help... and lube). To close this, I'd just like to say a massive thank you to JeddieJay or jayjaydray, for creating such a well written/ well-loved book that so many of us can come back to when we need some Larry love. <3

Confessions of a Gay Disney Prince is a Wattpad Larry Stylinson fic set in script format. It’s the first fic I have read set in this kind of format and it was really well written.

I’m not sure if JeddieJay has written stuff in this format before but they do have a knack for it. It was easy to find myself getting lost in the chapters which was probably a good thing as this story is one wild roller coaster from beginning to end.

Because while it is a Larry Stylinson fic it’s much more than just a Louis/Harry get together fic. It delves into all of Louis’ emotional traumas and why he is broken like he is or was. Since the truth doesn’t really come out until the very end almost.

It also goes into almost every relationship combination you could think of which doesn’t detract from the story in my opinion. In fact sometimes it’s kind of nice and well done.

I was happy with the ending as well even if I was sad to see it end. I’d almost gotten attached to the story and the characters. But at the same time the ending felt right and happened at just the right time.

I first read this book about a decade ago on Wattpad. Circa 2014/15… when all the tumblr girlies of my generation were starving, so misunderstood… and convinced we were gonna grow up to be writers. And long before the era of CMBYN and RW & Royal Blue… fanfics were the OG internet gay literature.

While this book presents as humorous and lighthearted, it explores some very heavy subject matter- abuse, homophobia, self-harm.. and the courage it takes for self-acceptance. Personally, I love the “jaystyle” script writing, because the story quite literally reads as a movie… one with a fairytale ending and a forever kiss <3

@JeddieJay, Jayme Dray- wherever you are these days, I hope you are doing well! Your hidden gem...Fetus, literally changed my life. Though it has seemingly been wiped from the internet, I recently translated the only living copy from Spanish back to English, chapter by chapter… just to read it one more time (a labour of love)

I’ve read this book so many times over the years and I LOVE IT!! Everything from the character development, to the self reflection that brought onto each reader for sure, to the amazing humour and writing😍 everything about this book is magical and amazing!
Yet I’ve noticed now that it is not on wattpad anymore and neither is your account :(( . Is there any way this book is available? Electronically or hard cover? I will 100% pay for a copy of this book so I could reread it 1000x more! Hope you see this comment @JeddieJay and let me know:)
Have a good one!

Okay, so I had this book on my wattpad and then one day I just found it missing...like what the f...it was my go to book. Like the best book I've ever read. I mean, you don't have to be a 1D fan for you to love it, coz the book is so relatable. Ever since I read it, I can't get enough. Thank you Jeddie. I've read it more times than I could count and it just doesn't get old. Wow....I just lack words to explain how inlove I am with this book

Honestly one of the best books I’ve ever read! It deserves so much more recognition than it’s getting. It had me sitting on the edge of my chair and laughing and crying all at the same time. You don’t need to be a one direction fan to enjoy this book. It’s so deep and meaningful while being fun at the same time, and I would recommend this book to everyone

I loved this book the first time I read it and I still love it now. The characters are Sassy, inappropriate, and loveable. The plot line of the main character has such a good story arc and even though some of the topics might be a hard pill to swallow it is SUCH a good read.

tenía las expectativas muy altas con esta fic porque todos decían que era demasiado buena, pero la verdad es que no fue para mí, no pude conectar con la historia y odié a todos los personajes (a excepción de Niall)

I’ve read this book more times than I can remember at this point. Such an intricate and thought through story and I loved seeing Louis’ character development throughout the book. For a Larry fanfic, this is top tier.

Was unsure of the “dialogue writing style” but really enjoyed it!
Loved the character development ♥️
Each chapter had a purpose and made the plot deep!

The ending came a bit aprupt because I would have loved to have one last “goodbye” chapter of the boys with each of their therapists.

This is the best book I've ever read, and I'm not even a One Direction Fan. I've finished reading it 2019 and I'm still reading it every time I need comfort. I cried, I laughed, I felt so many emotions while reading it. I really really recommend it
