It might be because I watched the anime way too fast that I don't really know what's going on. I've only been reading a couple of chapters a day, too, so I can't seem to concentrate on what's happening. HAHA. Ahhh. I guess I'll have to read it altogether in another day but for now, I'm just reading along and not following anything.

I thought this was gonna be better as the end of volume 1 was to be believed but no it was worse. I would say the first volume was like 2.5 while this is a two, nothing outright awful but it wasn’t good and well…I don’t know what’s going on? They introduced so many plot points out of nowhere and it lost me.

At the end of volume 1, the author promised that it would start making sense during volume 2. The author lied, but at the end of volume 2 apologized for the slow pacing...which wouldn't be half bad if the book hadn't had FOURTEEN pages of filler manga, plus copious notes to explain the things which didn't make a lick of sense as translated.
I don't know whether it's the author or the translator, but often terms are used which really NEED to have a translation or a note, but are left in Japanese. This is nice in terms of giving it a regional flavor, but often what is left untranslated is a word or a term which the reader really needs to know. Instead, the translation notes explain the names of musical groups and comedy teams mentioned throughout the story.
There is some hope that the author has a plan, but the pacing on the story is so slow that it may not help. The story takes place in a small town in which many of the residents have super powers...or magical powers...or demonic powers. It's all a little vague. If they're demons, they come from another dimension, and can be re-tuned to go back there, effectively killing them here...I think.
Oh yes, and the author has no sense of time, having a main character announce on day 7 that she is going on a vacation to Germany the next day, and then she is shown returning on day 8. Think about it...A day trip from Japan to Germany and back. Right...
