Your Irresistible Love is a sweet and steamy romance and the first book in The Bennett Brothers series. I read a Christmas novella from this family this past holiday season and wanted to read more. I enjoyed this book, but it was a bit too insta-love for me. Sebastian and Ava's love story was enjoyable and I liked the audio book a lot. I'll definitely read more from this series, I'm interested in more from the Bennett family.

OMG!!! This book was exactly what I needed. Yes, I'm not going to lie, this plot has been done before. BUT, Layla Hagen has made it her own. She turned this story into something unique and completely irresistible. I enjoyed the characters personalities and interactions so much. The Bennett family won me over and I'm super excited to read more about them in the upcoming books.

If you like beautiful love stories with a sexy Alpha Male and an independent and smart heroine, this is the book for you. Read it today! You wont be disappointed!!!

Ava is a marketing consultant brought in to help with the launch of a new jewelry collection. Neither are looking for love, and they sure aren’t looking for a complicated office relationship….





My thoughts:

This is the first book I have read by Layla Hagen. I was hoping to say I loved it because Sebastian has eight siblings, and that’s a lot of potential books...but I didn’t. It was ok. The writing style of the author was enjoyable. I just couldn’t relate to the characters...I love the alpha male!!...and even though Sebastian tried... it came off as controlling and not in a good/sexy way. Ava although she grew on me there were times I wanted to shake her...when I have to remind myself that shaking my tablet will not work like an magic eight ball or knock sense into the character...well something isn’t connecting. She was written as very needy and not the strong independent heroine I tend to enjoy. Some of the secondary characters were much more interesting. The chemistry felt off the mark it came across as forced and not genuine. They needed more banter and humor between them.

I know this all sounds bad, but it really was an ok read, and I'm sure lots of romance fans loved this book. I will try again with this author...like I mentioned there were characters in this book that intrigued me, and I look forward to reading their story!

Your Irresistible Love was a fast paced sexy read that I found myself devouring in one sitting. This book had the right amount of steam, emotion, and love to keep me entertained. The writing was beautifully well orchestrated as Ms. Hagen layered this book with so much heart, steam, compassion, and family bonds. I loved how Ms. Hagen slowly introduced members of the Bennett family and I seriously can't wait for Logan's story and the feisty sassy woman who can tame this bad boy CFO.

Well this didn't work for me...
Sebastian is such a boy not a man and that bother's me and chemistry between Sebastian and Ava was too forced,I don't know maybe I'm wrong but I had expectations and now I'm sad that I had too give it 2 stars.

There was nothing really wrong with this book or the writing.

Everything in this book was just a little too perfect and the people were a little too rich and beautiful. I had trouble buying into the insta-love connection and it became a little boring. I'm sure plenty of readers would enjoy this but it was a bit too saccharine for me. I needed some more angst.

I really enjoy Layla Hagen's books and her voice behind her writing. It always just captivates me and holds me throughout from start to finish.

I thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie and chemistry shared by Ava and Sebastian. Both have high expectations of themselves and have strong characterizations and worth ethics.

I felt that their connection was one of those immediate, infectious types of bonds where they know that something is up between them two but don't know what or where it will lead.

I was extremely excited to see their relationship unfold and to see the Bennett Family thrown into the mix! Was a lot of fun!

Can't wait to see what's next in this series!

Sebastian Bennett is the CEO of his own Jewellery Company, determined and focused romance hasn't been on his radar, all that changes when he meets Ava Lindt. Ava is a Marketing Consultant sent to work for Sebastian for 4 months to help them prepare for their next Jewellery runway show. Sebastian and Ava are drawn to each other from the get go, but with Ava only around for a short time, and with him being her boss can anything long-term come of the attraction they feel.

A cute enough read, although may attention waned a little, hence why it took me about a week to read it/finish it.

I give up.. I found it boring and predictable, but hey! Since I didn't finish I actually don't know if there's a twist at 75%, which completely would've saved it.. buuuut naughty me skimmed it and the last 30% looked super boring, sweet and low on angst and drama. Good for some, NOT good for me.

So this was the first book I've read by this author and I'm quite surprised because I didn't expect to like it so much.

I wanted to read a workplace romance for a while now and this one ticked almost all of my boxes. I really liked both of the MCs, H was really sweet and caring but also a bit alpha and the h was an independent woman that made a name of herself through hard work.

What really surprised me in this book was that there were so many side characters (H has 8 siblings) and yet I didn't have any problem remembering their names and what they did. It's quite funny actually because I've read a book that the H had 8 siblings and it bothered me so much that I had to lower my rating. I guess if it's done properly then I can enjoy stories with so many characters.

I'm definitely going to read the next books in the series, I really want to read the stories of the rest of the Bennetts. I'm not sure what rating I should give it though, because even though I did enjoy it a lot, I think, overall, it was just an okay read. I think I'm going to save my 4 stars for the next books so 3 ⭐

4-4.5 Almost too Perfect Stars

Yes, you read that right.... I truly loved the story and loved the H and the h BUT I found it a bit too perfect for me:) There was a small bit of angst/drama and yes, I loved that aspect BUT I think because it was all playing out so well, for me, I would have liked a bit more spark if that makes sense to add even "more" to this already adorable and sweet storyline.

Now, the good news is, I cannot wait to read more of this family in the future because I was so drawn in on all of them and this looks to be a promising series:)

This is the second book i read by layla hagen. The first book is from connor family. I remember i like it ok. Lukewarm.

Its dry. Really dry. Sebastian is a freak. He is a control freak. Not in a good way. And eva is a weak needy woman. Can not stand her.

And the book is too long. Too long with nothing interesting inside. Bland dry story.

I periodically crave and desperately require a steamy and sweet romance to clear out the mental stickiness of my everyday work grind - and Layla Hagen’s delightful writing style is perfect to scratch that itch for a pleasant and amusing escape. I adore her worthwhile and intelligent characters, clever humor, witty dialogues, and supportive love stories. I enjoyed every book of her Lost series, and she has never failed to entertain or provide a satisfying HEA. Your Irresistible Love is the first volume in a promising new series that I am eager to continue. Thankfully, it involves a large, sassy, and close knit family, so I have high hopes they will keep her occupied for years to come.

Ich traue mich fast gar nicht etwas zu sagen, aber das war leider gar nichts für mich 🙊
Das war 100% Instalove, ohne interessante Handlung, ohne Tiefgang und mit Protagonisten, die mir überhaupt nicht nahe gingen. Das Gute an dem Buch war, dass es sich unglaublich flott lesen ließ und hätte ich da nicht so schön durchfliegen können, hätte ich es vielleicht sogar abgebrochen. Ich will dem Buch nicht absprechen, dass es einen gewissen Unterhaltungswert hat, schließlich hat die Reihe auch viele Fans. Aber meins war es einfach nicht.
Die Lösung für Prota Avas vermeintlichen Problems ist bereits auf den ersten Seiten offensichtlich. Die Liebesgeschichte bzw. die große Verliebtheit zwischen ihr und Sebastian startet ebenfalls bereits auf den ersten Seiten. Von da an wird nur noch darauf hingearbeitet, dass die beiden endlich vögeln. Und das tun sie. Ausgiebig. Was für mich jetzt kein Problem war, da ich mit einem höheren erotischen Anteil gerechnet hatte. Wenn das ansprechend geschrieben ist bin ich da auch die letzte die meckert, aber wenn man irgendwie 30 mal lesen muss, wie geil er ihre Brüste findet (der Kerl hat eine Obsession mit den Dingern, ich sags euch) und wie feucht schon ihr Schlüppi ist, wenn er sie auszieht dann... tja, dann driftet das eben auch leider ganz schnell ins Lächerliche ab. Gefühlt passiert ja leider auch kaum etwas anderes außer Sex, seltsame Dates, und zwischendurch wird gearbeitet oder es gibt Familienaktivitäten. Wenn dann mal ein emotionales Problem bei den Protas angesprochen wurde, wurde es im gleichen Atemzug sofort wieder gelöst, bevor überhaupt so etwas wie Spannung aufkommen konnte. Alles wirkte so erzwungen und konstruiert. Ich kann verstehen, dass es für den ein oder anderen wohltuend ist, ein Buch ohne viel Drama zu lesen. Ich habs hier aber leider sehr vermisst. Mir hat es deutlich an Tiefe gefehlt, alles blieb so oberflächlich und mit Klischees wurde nur so um sich geworfen. Denn natürlich ist Sebastian der fürsorglichste und schönste Mann, den die Welt je gesehen hat. Und als kleiner Bonus: der milliardenschwere CEO eines Schmuckkonzerns. Ava ist natürlich die erste, die es nicht auf sein Geld abgesehen hat. Und schon ist unsterbliche Liebe geboren. Seufz. Auf den letzten 30 Seiten wurde dann nochmal versucht ein bisschen was auf der dramatischen Schiene rauszuholen, so als großes Finale, aber nein... einfach nein. Es endete natürlich genau so wie man es sich auf den ersten Seiten schon denkt. Was ja nicht schlimm wäre, wenn alles andere mega gut gewesen wäre.
Ich mochte einfach mal keinen einzigen Charakter dort, die waren mir alle egal und ich hatte zu keinem auch nur ansatzweise ein Bild im Kopf. Es wurde versucht bzw. erzwungen ein bisschen Humor mit reinzubringen bei den Dialogen, aber ich fand das einfach alles total platt.
Das war leider nicht mein Buch, da kann man nichts machen 🤷‍♀️

Is this book serious?

I don't think I read the same book as all of the good reviews for this one. I was reading this for a challenge so I forced myself to finish it, I definitely would have DNF'd it if not. The insta-love was ridiculous, probably one of the worst I've ever read. Sebastian and Ava were ridiculous characters with no depth whatsoever. I couldn't have cared less what happened to them.

Let me think of some of the dumb shit that happened in this book

Ava was sick so the dude went over there, she was like I'm going to go to the pharmacy and get this medicine, so obviously he said he would go, she was like "oh, I didn't think of that". You didn't?? He comes over to bring you soup or whatever but you're gonna go the pharmacy?? Idiot girl.

Also I think she's supposed to be cool or something because she buys stuff that's on sale. Its the only reason I can think of for why she told us a thousand times.

"That's why I got this table for us"
Or something like that. Whatever. **bangs head on wall**

Oh another good one, she was like oh I'm on birth control are you mad at me for not telling you? Uhhh why would he be mad? Is that an actual reason people get mad ? You guys have known each other for like 5 seconds, is it really even his business anyway? But DON'T FRET, he's not mad, because he saw her take it, he was just waiting for her to tell him or something. **rolls eyes**

I feel dumber after reading these idiot conversations and idiot situations between a bunch of dull idiots. This wasn't even really cheesy it was just strange and awkward. The only good thing was that there wasn't very much angst, I don't like angst.

I can't believe I finished this. I hope I can get my brain cells back that this book killed.

This is going to be a very short review and not because I disliked the book, but because I don't have a lot to say.

It was exactly what I was expecting: cute, easy, fast and it took me just a few hours to devour it. It's exactly the light and fluffy read that you can pick up after a hard day or in the weekend and let yourself relax. It won't make you think too much and also due to the writing style and the characters you feel like very fuzzy afterwards.

Your Irresistible Love is the type of book that doesn't deal with serious stuff and you just have two people that are attracted to each other, without too much drama and cheating and I don't know what else authors thtow in their books to make them longer and eventful, that are honest with themselves and with the other one, and they just live their life.

Don't read this expecting too be deep and thoughtful, with tons of emotions and tears, because to me it was a very happy and warm read, that you can enjoy with a chocolate or a cup of tea or hot chocolate around. Yes, it is a good book, the characters are very cute and funny, their relationship is somehow straight forward, as I said no drama, and if you don't expect a plot full of twists and turns you'll like it.

I recommend this as a summer read or now when it is cold and you want something short and light to warm you up and make you feel lovely and fuzzy inside. And also, it goes very well between heavier books or if you have exams, because this novel is a fluffy, chubby and adorabilicious *yes, I invented a new word* cloud. And it needs love!

Your Irresistible Love is exactly what I look for in a 5 star romance novel. It made me laugh, blush, swoon and wasn't overloaded with unnecessary drama.

I have read every book Layla Hagen has written and I love each book even more then the one before it. Her writing just keeps getting better with each book she publishes. She is definitely an auto read for me. She always gives us entertaining and intriguing story lines and characters that you can totally relate to. This book is no different, she sucked me in from the first page and held on until the very end. As for the characters, what can I say….I am in love with the Bennett Family. I look forward to reading all of the books in this series.

Your Irresistible Love is the first book in her new Bennett Family Series and it is definitely a hit. In this book we meet Ava Lindt and Sebastian Bennett. Ava is a very strong female character. She is used to doing things for herself and is very independent. She works for a marketing consultant firm and is hired by the Bennett family to help with the newest launch of their jewelry line. This is where she meets Sebastian. The attraction is instantaneous on both sides, but it is still a slow burn for these two because Ava doesn't want to do anything to put her job in jeopardy. Well that just makes Ava a challenge for Sebastian and he doesn't shy away from a challenge. Sebastian is on top of Book Boyfriend List. He is AMAZING. He is everything a woman is looking for. He was so lovable. I loved the banter between him and Ava but also with his family. I also loved that he was the perfect mix of Alpha male and a true softy. I loved how he treated Ava throughout the whole book. I dare anyone who reads this book, not to fall in love with him!!! It's not possible ;)

We also meet all the other members of the Bennett Family and all I can say is that everyone will want a family like this after reading this book. I am so excited to read each of their stories.

So if you are looking for that romance novel that is a stand alone with NO cliffhanger, that has an entertaining storyline, relatable characters and will leave you with a huge smile on your face, then this is the book to read!! You won't be sorry :)

Well, I’m sold. I wasn’t sure I would be. Like many other romance book junkies, I have a crap ton of book series that I’ve already collected still waiting to be read.

“For what it’s worth, you’re unlike any other woman I’ve met. You make me feel…everything.”

“You’ll never feel alone again, Ava. I promise.”

A lump forms in my throat, emotions overcoming me.

“You’re going to make me fall in love with you more every day, aren’t you?

“I’m certainly going to try. You deserve to be loved, and you have so much love to give. I’m happiest when you look at me like I’m your whole world, so I’ll make sure to work hard to earn that look.”

Luckily, I was charmed by this story. It had two very strong lead characters, several interesting supporting characters, fun pacing, humor, and plenty of steam. I especially loved the fact that Ava and Sebastian were both in their thirties and had each achieved success the hard way. Obviously, Ava’s non-fraternization work clause was no match for the chemistry they had together. And, I was thoroughly entertained by the progression of their relationship and Ava’s integration into the Bennett family fold.

One of my favorite lighthearted moments takes place at the office:
I pull myself up straighter. “Just so you know, all these long hours mean you’ll get laid a lot less.”

“We’ll see about that,” Sebastian replies, a rueful smile on his face.

“Does anyone care that I’m in the room?” Logan throws his hands up in the air.

“No,” Sebastian and I reply in unison.

“Okay…glad we settled that,” Logan concludes.

I also loved the cute epilogue and the fact that Pippa and Ava were scheming to pair Logan up with Nadine, Ava’s bestie. Up next in the Bennett family series is Logan’s story.

First of all let me say thank you to the author, Layla, for giving me a ARC copy of this book!! I absolutely love this book! I think Sebastian is just the bees knees and Ava is a wonderful woman. I love the Bennett family so much. The author did such a good job at character development. I love all the characters in this book! A very well written book that had me in tears at the end. This is a MUST read!!

Sexy, Romantisch, leicht und vor allem höllisch attraktiv ... so würde ich dieses Buch beschreiben. Schon die ersten Seiten ließen mich nicht mehr los und ich war so schnell in der Geschichte drin wie schon lange bei keinem Buch mehr. Die Geschichte lässt sich leicht lesen, die Charaktere haben mich von Anfang an überzeugen können und auch Romantik sowie Erotik geben sich hier perfekt die Wage. Mehr brauche ich einfach nicht um glücklich zu sein.

Sebastian hat alles was er will und braucht. Er ist Chef eines der führenden Schmuckunternehmen in den USA und kann sich einfach alles leisten was er will. Ihm fliegen die Frauen nur so zu und anstrengen um den nächsten Flirt klar zu machen braucht er auch nicht. Doch dann taucht Ava auf, sie ist klug, sexy und sie zieht ihn in ihren Bann, doch sie ist für ihn verboten, denn sie arbeitet für ihn. Doch das facht erst recht Sebastians Jagdinstinkt an, denn zum ersten Mal muss er für das kämpfen was er will und es fällt ihm nicht so einfach in den Schoss.

Diese Geschichte könnte langweilig sein, denn auf den ersten Blick wirkt sie wie die Bücher die es zu Hauf auf dem Markt der erotisch/romantischen Bücher gibt. Milliardär verliebt sich in ein hübsches Mädchen, dass er nicht bekommen kann aber haben will und er muss darum kämpfen. Doch dann stellen sich ihnen Widrigkeiten in den Weg und am Ende, ja am Ende bekommen wir unser Happy End. Doch dieses Buch ist nicht langweilig, ich hatte auch nicht das Gefühl die Geschichte zu kennen und auch die Romantik war nicht platt sondern einfach heimelig und wundervoll kuschelig.

Dieses Buch ist eins dieser Sonntagsbücher, es macht glücklich, lässt die Zeit dahin fliegen und am Ende des Tages ist der Lesende einfach nur zufrieden. Ganz einfach ausgedrückt war dieses Buch hyggelig.

Müsste ich den Schreibstil des Buches beschreiben, was ich selten mache, dann würde ich ihn als unkompliziert beschreiben. Ein Schreibstil über den ich nicht nachdenken musste, der mir einfach zugeflogen kam und der mich eingehüllt hat wie eine warme Decke. So ein Gefühl können nicht viele Autoren bei mir erzeugen aber der Stil von Layla Hagen hat dies geschafft.

Und deswegen gibt es für dieses wundervolle Buch volle 5 Sterne und ich hoffe auf eine Fortsetzung dieser tollen Reihe, denn ein paar Brüder gibt es ja auch noch die auf ihre Traumfrau warten ;)

Layla did it again. She had me hooked from the first page to the very end. I read it in one sitting not being able to put it down.

Ava is a strong, independent woman hired to marked jewellery for a big company with a gorgeous CEO. Their connection was instantaneous as was their lust for each other. The banter between Ava and Sebastian had me laughing along with the rest of the Bennett family. It's a family many wish they had.

Sebastian is strong, smart and a workaholic but Ava brings out the best in him. I love his humour and the way he treats Ava. I wish more men were like him.

Even though they know it's wrong to start something due to being coworkers and Ava could be fired they can't help but fall for each other. They work hard and love harder. Ava's insecurities cause her to doubt that he won't leave her and Sebastian soon realised Ava wants him as a man and not his money.

I Can't wait to read the rest of the Bennett's stories.
