A comprehensive look at how to live with as little damage to the enviroment as possible but still have the luxuries of today's lifestyles. Some parts are a little outdated, especially in terms of technology (it moves quickly!), but overall this book explains the main things anyone can do to start living more earth-consciously. I loved the drawings of shelters, septic systems, and gardening. I would love to incorporate many of these ideas when I make the plunge into homesteading some day.
