Daisy wants his sister’s best friend, Maria. She wants him to give her a chance to prove that she could be everything he wants. Can she handle the fact he wants to be in control of everything?
Maria’s tired of making the decisions. She yearns for a man who’ll love her, protect her, and stay faithful to her. She knows she’s different, but she can be everything Daisy needs.
Taking time away from the club, Daisy gives them a chance to see if Maria can give him what he wants, but also to show her he’s the kind of man she craves. They’re two unlikely souls that are destined to be together. Their time together shows that, and love blooms more powerfully than either could imagine.
However, when Maria tells him the truth about the pain his sister experienced, their peace comes crashing down around them. How can he trust Maria when she kept Beth’s secret from him? What will happen when Daisy goes after the man who violated his sister?
Is there any way these two, being so very different, can find love?
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
Don't be fooled by the hero's name: Daisy! He got it honestly... getting drunk and having a tattoo artist ink him with the huge daisy on his back. Now with that out the way ya' see Daisy has always wanted Maria, his sister, Beth's best friend. Even better Maria has wanted Daisy just as much too! So Daisy being the dominant man he is finally listens to heart and some place lower on his anatomy (lol) and literally kidnaps her from the Trojan's clubhouse with family and friends watching! That move was priceless to read while they end up at a vacation resort: his owned cabin! Remember this as we move further in the novella, Daisy told Knuckles, his MC brother to keep his manwhorish (my word) hands off of his sister before he left and he meant it!
"There was only one word that he thought about when he looked at Maria. MINE"
Maria and Daisy are all alone outside of prying eyes and you see a glimmer of "50's lifestyle practices but Daisy is just a big ole' teddy bear when it comes to 'his Maria' and the inner thought jargon of the word, "MINE" again and again in their quasi-love aka MC union. Well the ball drops when Daisy feels a bit betrayed and discovered his sister's long visit and problem while both Maria and Beth neglected to tell him after all those months!
Now I've told you enough but know this Daisy is no pushover and he goes after what has harmed his!
So if you love a cocky, possessive alpha male who's a member of Trojans MC with the swagger to boot, then Mine by Sam Crescent is for you! Otherwise, let it slide...
It was an okay read, I didn't give it a higher rating because I was pissed Daisy slept around with other women even after Maria was willing to be with him (There is NO descriptive sex scenes about Daisy with other-w and is only merely mentioned at the beginning) I was curious and pretty excited for Daisy's book and it was a good read, I was not overly impressed by it though. I think my expectations were just way too high after reading 'Need' and seeing how great of a hero Crazy was and how dedicated he was to his woman. Now, I'm not saying Daisy wasn't dedicated to his woman, he was, but the whole thing with him screwing around definitely degenerated his character for me. And even though I understand that MC books always have that sort of cheating or screwing with other-w plot, I believe the book would have been 10 times better without him screwing other people. *sigh*
Wasn't too impressed with the h either, she gave in and forgave the hero way too easily, I wished the female characters of this series could be tougher, less forgiving and make the heroes work for their forgiveness. * another sigh *
One good thing about the book was how it paved way for other characters and how intriguingly it opened their stories from which I'm gathering will be turned into books?
I am very, very excited for Mathew( Duke's son) and Luna's story and hopefully we'll get a book soon on them.
In conclusion, I think if you're a Daisy fan and if you can get over him sleeping with other-w, you might like it more than I did.
I am struggling between the 3 - 4 starts. I love this author and maybe I had too much built up in my head for Daisy and that is why I am left a little disappointed. There was something lacking in the book, I am not sure if it the fact that Maria SAW him having sex with the club whores or the way he treated her as if she didn't matter (ok, maybe both). Why did he have to take her away from the club for 30 days to "find out where they were going"...did he not trust himself to be around the whores and be faithful? Honestly, after all she witnessed her answer in the car should have been YES, he could have grinned, said no and drove off anyway. He was overly concerned with one of the whore's reaction but there was nothing said when they returned. There was no reason for the ex to be involved in this story either, she added nothing. Finally, I had to roll my eyes at the parents sudden epiphany concerning Maria. Don't get me wrong (as I list way too much negative) I am still a HUGE fan of this author and I will continue this series as well as a few of her others, it's just that this booked missed "my" mark.
I like the setting of the story. The first four books feature the club pretty extensively. This one is a bit different as Daisy took Marie for a getaway for them to get to know each other. I do like Daisy and Maria together, but the whole 'fell in love with my sister's best friend' is a cliche that I could do without.
This book like all of Sam's others did not disappoint me, I enjoy reading the world of the Trojans aswell as the Skulls. The characters Maria and Daisy I did like despite Daisy's carefree attitude of how he slept with other women despite Maria telling him how she felt about him and Maria was too quick to forgive him and I would have to liked to have seen her made him suffer a little bit more and it also made me think where is the proof of how she could trust him when they going to be alone in a cabin for a month with no women around for her to get the proof that he wouldn't stray from her. I liked how Daisy became all alpha despite being a little controlling and how he made Maria comfortable in herself and how he was patient with her, I would liked to have seen Maria have a bit experience when it came to men though. I didn't like his ex though when she turned up at the same place as them, I thought she needed more than a telling off lol but I think that was the part which made Maria trust him and I liked the side story about Beth and Knuckles and how Beth's problems came to light and I liked catching up on what the other characters had been up to, I also enjoyed reading about Matthew and I'm hoping that one day he'll get his own book as he seems like he could be an interesting character. I enjoyed the ending especially the epilogue and I'm looking forward to reading the next book of this series to find out how Daisy and Maria are getting on.

As the 5th book it was okay. I was interested in Matthew, Beth and Knuckles story more than Daisy and Maria. The only interesting moments concerning the main characters involved Laura and those where short. Overall not bad and a quick read.
Daisy's one of those characters that appears to use humor as a defense mechanism. He's usually the one that has the funny line or the comedic relief spot. With a character like that, you know that his drama is just going to hit him hard. It comes in the form of his sister's best friend, Maria.
Maria and Daisy's sister Beth are staying at the club house for the summer. There's obviously something wrong with Beth, but no one is cluing Daisy into the situation. He's too busy anyway keeping the brothers away from her and trying not to lust after Maria. I can appreciate the back story of these two characters. Maria had a childhood crush on her best friend's brother, but he treated her like another sister. It's now, when she's become an adult that he's waking up to realize that he may have always had feelings towards her.
I had a really hard time finishing this book. I thought the set up for their relationship was actually better than the real thing. Daisy ends up taking Maria to his private cabin for a month to see if they can make a relationship work. He has certain needs that he wants to make sure Maria can satisfy. I feel like that's a cop out. It makes the actual relationship building feel forced and confined. I thought that Daisy was very immature, and Maria was still the little kid with a crush. They didn't show growth from their past on why they should be together. I just wanted to finish the story and move on. At some point, I didn't care about them anymore as you knew they would get together.
So at the end of book 4 of the series, “Need,” Maria told Daisy that she wanted him and that she was willing to give him full control. Daisy is a man that likes to Dominate. I would say that their relationship is more a DD. I like that Daisy knows that he needs time away with her to make sure this is right for both of them. He wasn’t going to waste his time if the relationship wasn’t going to work. I can see Maria needing more guidance than she has ever had. We also have the next story building with Knuckles and Beth, Daisy’s sister. We knew something happened that caused her to come the Vale Valley and stay with her brother. Now we find out what. These two have loved each other for so long. I do love that he takes his time with her so she is more comfortable with him. She does have spirit which is great.
Can't believe these books keep getting better. Daisy has always wanted Maria, his sister Beth's best friend. She was too young, he kept away. Now she and Beth are at the clubhouse. Something had happened to Beth she won't tell him what. His parents know, Maria knows but Beth has said not to say anything, she can't betray her trust. Daisy accepts this for now. Being under the same roof is hard for them both, Daisy likes to be the man, to be in control, Maria says she's happy with that so they go away for a month. Just as the very happy couple return to the club Maria tells Daisy what had happened to Beth and hell is let loose Sue P
Hot sexy sweet ..Daisy has been in love with his sisters best friend forever and just didn't realize it .. Maria has loved Daisy since she was 14 .. She comes with his sister Beth to stay at the club house for the summer and then he has to fight to get her back ... Laura showing up at the cabin was kind of pointless and saying Lori the club wh---- might give problems when they get back from the cabin was also pointless because it was never mentioned again or brought up again .. Maria told Daisy a secret that was not hers to tell and she thought she lost him and Beth ...
Mine is sexy Daisy's story. He has one woman he has always loved and that is Maria. They are ten years apart. She is finally going to be his. Daisy will fight the attraction thinking she is too innocent for his controlling ways but Maria surprises him. Beth's secret comes out and Daisy will lose his mind. Knuckles is wants Beth to be his, he will have to take on her demons and Daisy to win her heart. So if you have read any of the Trojans MC I suggest you read Mine.. and enjoy the ride. Knuckles and Beth are up next in book six Trust... Happy Reading!!
San Crescent does a fantastic job of drawing you in and keeping your interest right from the start, thoroughly enjoyable characters with an interesting storyline makes for one great read. He delivers everything you could want in a book, hot alpha dominate bikers, young feisty innocent women, relevant storyline, plenty of action and sexual chemistry, add in romance and an HEA and you have one book worth reading.
I normally love this author and the rest of this series is great but this one wasn't so great. I hate so called heroes who sleep around even though Maria told him she was willing to enter a relationship with him. Not hero qualities at all. And she forgave him in 2 seconds flat. Come on Maria, have a backbone.

I love this author but this book just didn’t do it for me. It played in to way to many archetypes and the character portrayals were pretty weak. Also, if my best friend had done what Beth’s did I would not have been so blasé about it. Seriously the book lacked depth and the female characters are so weak! Makes me afraid to read the rest of the series.
Sam Crescent is an automatic buy for me, but this was a disappointment. The girl who loved her best friend's biker brother is a trope, it doesn't have to be boring. This book was slow and predictable.
